Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very clean!

We liked the Shambala and had fun exploring BV and local hot springs. The house was safe and secure in a great location. Wi-Fi worked well and we did a puzzle on the big table. Kitchen was workable but they need a big pot for spaghetti, and you’ll want to bring your own paper towels and TP. Biggest issue was we were cold. Blankets were thin and baseboard heaters weren’t all working. If they fixed those small issues we’d stay again. We had fun.

Shambala did not disappoint. The house was in a great location for getting to town, the river and the mountains. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. The street is amazingly quiet with parking was right out front. This area is a mecca for hiking - not crowded and many choices of difficulty. We will definitely book Shambala again when we return.

Stayed at sham spa for a quick jeeping weekend with friends. The house was well appointed and clean. Worked well with our small group. We will stay again.

This home was in the perfect location to enjoy all that Buena Vista has to offer. The two bedrooms upstairs and one down allowed for us to have some privacy. The home was bright and clean. We so enjoyed our visit.

The home was conveniently located and very clean. It was easy to access and had everything we needed in the kitchen. It got cool at night so extra blankets would have been nice and we also wanted to sit in the backyard but the yard was overgrown with weeds. Lovely house!

Location was perfect very comfortable home, it has a good size back yard we were able to do laundry (big plus)

This home had everything we needed and then some. Good location and the management company was very nice and easy to deal with.

Shambala is a sweet house with plenty of room for four adults and a couple of children (if allowed). My favorite room was the sunny master bedroom, with an old rocking chair that fit me perfectly. (I'm 5' tall.) The room has enough space for yoga and a skylight perfect for stargazing from bed. This was a great place for a week's escape!

House was excellent. Our family of four had plenty of room. It was very clean and had everything we needed available. Great backyard, nice grill, convenient location and quiet street. We could walk or ride our bikes to everywhere in town. And BV has about every form of outdoor recreation just outside the front door.

Great place in a wonderful setting. The home is spotless, amenities are thoughtfully provided, and everything we wanted for two comfortable nights (including Netflix) in the winter Rockies were close at hand. BV downtown is close by, we enjoyed taking our grandson to the park just two blocks away, and Salida was an easy drive. We’ll be back!

My team and I had a lovely stay at this home in BV. If you are ok with not being right in town it’s perfect to base your adventures from!

Shambala was ideal for housing teens, parents, and grandpa for a week of adventures in and around BV! Appreciated having some basics in the house (salt/pepper, plastic bags and foil, laundry detergent....) and close to grocery store, easy walk to downtown, and quiet side street! Owners were quick to respond to our internet questions and that was the only (and minor!) issue we had. This little house is a part of some fun family memories for us!!

This an adorable house very close to downtown quaint Buena Vista, Colorado. It is very well furnished and impeccably clean. It has 2 good sized bedrooms and bath upstairs and 2 bunk beds downstairs with another full bath. The kitchen is completely ready to go. Every thing you can think of is available. They even left condiments, herbal tea fresh coffee, olive oil. Very sweet of them. We would highly recommend to all our friends.

For a short spring break getaway, Shambala was an incredibly comfortable stay for a family of four including two teens who need their space. Kitchen amenities-plus all those small things we forgot at home (coffee filters, oregano, plastic wrap)! Jennifer at Collegiate Peaks was incredibly accommodating when we arrive a little ahead of schedule. At first, I was concerned about being west of Hwy 24, but that proved to be insignificant as it was a super short and easy walk into downtown, and across the street from the church we attend when visiting Buena Vista. The home comfortably sleeps six, but the living room couch only three, so someone was always on the extra chair provided (my daughter now wants the same one for her room). My son loved the super-soft couch blankets! We rented bikes and enjoyed riding in the foothills (go see the guys at @BoneshakerCycles). It's about a 20-minute drive to Mt Princeton hot springs, and an even shorter drive to K's Burgers and Ice Cream (but get there well before closing time as when the closing bell tolls, they stop serving). I'd recommend Shambala if being downtown isn't a must.

Shambala is a very nice, clean, and comfortable house that is positioned perfectly to enjoy all that downtown BV has to offer!! Don’t let the pic fool you, it is very spacious and functional! Great Place! ⛷⛷⛷⛷

We were in town for a bike Polo tournament and this place fit our needs perfectly. Only a short walk to down town. Quiet neighborhood. Super close to all the fun! We will be staying here again!!
