We could not have felt more welcome from the moment we arrived. Flying in during the first snow of the year, we landed to find a message from Kitty advising best route to take to arrive safely which was greatly appreciated. Our studio was warm and cozy, the perfect size for the two of us and had everything we needed. Had we needed anything all we would have had to do is ask. Kitty had available any outdoor items we might need available for use along with fantastic ideas for points of interest around the area. One of the best of those is the personal oasis she has created right on her property, The Himmelhaus Forest! Simply breathtaking views! After a day of exploring you must take advantage of the incredible steam shower to relax those tired muscles and rehydrate.....awwww. Then enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains and stars from the deck. Kitty we cannot thank you enough for your wonderful, heartwarming hospitality. Such a good wonderful stay in Evergreen. Kitty was right next door to help but never intrusive. Having both a back patio and front deck is as helpful for different times of day. It was just an overall amazing time.

The studio was perfect for my wife and me. The steam shower was a nightly ritual we used to before melting into bed and sleeping as soundly as ever after days of hiking the nearby trails. Kitty was incredibly friendly and so helpful in helping us get around the area. I highly recommend staying at her studio apartment!

Property has a personal touch and feel. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

We had an awesome time during our visit to Evergreen Meadows and Kitty was a great host. She has a wonderful home with spectacular views and provided us with lots of information on things to do and places to eat. If we ever decide to go back to Colorado, this will definitely be the place we'll stay!

I was unfortunately unable to ever meet Kitty, but she was still able to be a fantastic host. I told her a little about what we had planned (concert and hiking etc etc) and she had left us stadium seats, water bottles, snacks, just about anything you could want to enjoy the beautiful setting, she has. Fantastic stay!

Beautiful views and charming town.

We loved our stay! Kitty was so welcoming, leaving chocolates and breakfast foods when we arrived. It was the perfect space for the two of us getting away for a weekend for a concert and hiking. We will absolutely be back. We loved spying the deer all around the property, even getting visits from two fawns a couple of times. The views and outdoor space cannot be beat. Thank you Kitty! We will be back. Two days was not enough time to explore the beautiful Evergreen!

Beautiful property with breathtaking views. The amenities were cozy and comfortable. The owner was so inviting and accommodating. She is a really a lovely person who takes great pride in her property and in her guests experience. If you are looking for a feeling of home away from home, this is the place! Perfectly nestled into the side of the mountain but not too difficult to get to. Close to lot of fun things to do but far enough away to feel like you're out of the race. I would definitely recommend and will probably be back.

Kitty has made our stay so easy and we were so thankful that she opened up her beautiful home for us to stay for a week! Not only was the studio amazing but she provided so many wonderful references on the best places to see, eat and shop! This was my first visit to Colorado (and definitely not my last) and Kitty has helped make our trip wonderful! We cannot wait to visit again, thank you Kitty!

Wish I could’ve stayed longer.. place was homey and quaint. Kitty was great, made me feel welcome and at ease as soon as I got there. Relaxed so well, I read an entire book without realizing. Favorite part was sitting out staring at the stars at night. They looked so close and big... but can’t forget that sauna shower!! That was amazing too. Hope to come back and take a more active trip next time. Purely wanted to decompress with this one and I definitely succeeded.

I had a great stay at this property. Kitty was a great host. The property is a warm, inviting 1 bedroom/ eating area. Perfect for a couple. There is a kitchen area and bathroom with a steam shower. Host provided everything you would need for a comfortable stay. There is a deck with a beautiful view of the mountains. Host is full of information about the local area. A great resource for those whose like to do things "off the beaten track". A++

Kitty was an excellent host, and she exceeded my expectations!

The hospitality Kitty provided was second to none. She was available for any questions and suggestions, yet provided us complete privacy. Kitty's home is immaculate and the location and views are breathtaking. We stayed in the accommodations above our garage, which was perfect and we had everything we desired and more. Love the steam/shower compo, the kitchen area and the front private deck and back patio, also very private. We loved relaxing and watching the wildlife. The area around Kitty's home was perfect for us. We did all we hoped in and around Evergreen, including a trip to RMNP, up the west side, across Trail Ridge Road and back home on the east side, stopping for numerous short lake hikes and waterfall hikes. We also drove to the summit of Mount Evens (which can be seen from Kitty's home), which was amazing. We enjoyed some R&R in Evergreen, including walking around Evergreen lake, we loved the Little Bear Saloon, Cactus Jack's and the mountain pies at Beau Jo's pizza. The highlight, in addition to all the above, was a concert we attended at Red Rocks. It cannot get any better from a venue standpoint. The best. We will visit again, and look forward to a glass of wine with Kitty. Kitty - thank you so much for everything. You are wonderful! Brad and Val.

Kitty's place and hospitality is everything you hope it will be. We stayed in her studio apartment and it was like staying in a spa. A steam shower, comfortable furnishings, fantastic view and everything you need or want.
