This was our first stay on AMI and I believe this property was the reason we had such a great time. The house itself and its amenities were great, we had everything we needed there. And the pool is absolutely beautiful as well as the house. But the location of the property was absolutely amazing. We were A short walk to the beach plus the cafe and the taco place across the street were both so good. Having everything else on pine ave right there was incredible. Couldn’t ask for anything more, and the host was very responsive for anything we needed.

Was looking for a house perfect for 2 senior girlfriends with all the amenities and close to beach and found Casa Caliente.

Overall this is a great property with lots of personality and is exactly as shown in the photos. Our boys loved the pool and the proximity to the beach was great (about 5 mins walk with little feet leading the way). The shark face on the front of the house was also a hit! The house had everything we needed, and more. We appreciated Frankie’s prompt responses. Highly recommend this property for a visit to this beautiful island. Just a couple minor notes. The house speaker system wasn’t working for us for some reason, which was a bummer because it was a nice set up. Frankie was willing to come fix it, but it wasn’t too big of a deal for us. Also, a few of the essential toiletries were low or empty upon arrival - toilet paper, paper towel and detergent.

It was a wonderful place to stay.. Frankie always responded in a timely manner.. It was easy to get to the beach, restaurants and shopping from this location. Would rent again

Nice 2 bedrooms seem to be getting harder and harder to find in Anna Maria. This one was the perfect size and location for a family of 4.

Great little house for a family of 4. The kids loved the pool and we loved eating at the tiki bar every night. Walking distance to the beach and shops. First time to AMI and it was great!

This is our second time in The Blue House. We love this house. The house is adorable inside and out. It is convenient (walking distance) to the beach, the bay, wonderful shops, and a number of restaurants. The decor is fun and coastal. The house is surrounded by lovely landscaping, and despite being on a busy street, it is vey private. The heated pool and the lanai are wonderful. We spent much of our time lazing around the pool, reading and napping. There is plenty of comfortable seating around the lanai. The waterfall is a great feature. The house has comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen is adequately stocked. The appliances are nice and there is a large pantry to store things in. We used the grill a lot and it was clean on our arrival. We had a great time at The Blue House and hope to come again next year. Lovely well-appointed home in perfect location, only steps from beach and within easy walking distances to many great restaurants and plenty of shopping. Frankie was a wonderfully responsive host. Property was exactly as described including the “technology” which includes multiple HDTVs and a multi-room sound system, but no wireless capability. You have to physically connect your device in order to play music, so you lose the use of your device and it doesn’t charge while connected to the sound system. You also can’t connect to the TVs via wireless technology like AirPlay and there are no streaming apps like Netflix or Prime Video, and the DirectTV subscription doesn’t include ESPN. Minor issues to be sure, and a tech-savvy guest can simply bring their personal streaming device and/or smart speaker. Or just leave the tech at home and enjoy the beach!

Great beach house on a beautiful island!

It was our first time to AMI and this was the perfect place to stay. We really enjoyed AMI and the house was in a perfect location to experience everything AMI has to offer. I highly recommend staying here!

Very well maintained house in a great location that made for an epic family vacation. We enjoyed being in the heart of it all and made great use of the pool. Couldn't be happier or more highly recommend.

An absolutely wonderful place. This was our second stay at “Casa Caliente”. Frankie, property owner, is a wonderful host. The house is always clean. The landscaping is not only beautiful but makes the yard and pool feel like a private oasis. The location is ideal. Dozens of shops and restaurants are within short walking distance from the house. Beach access is a short walk away. It really is a perfect vacation destination for our family. We’re all looking forward to our next stay with Frankie on AMI. She is lightning quick with responses to emails/messages. The VRBO ratings only go to 5 stars. Frankie and her home deserve much more. Thanks again, Frankie. Already looking forward to next summer. Frankie was a very responsive owner both prior to and during the stay. The house was as described and very clean on arrival. We would stay at this property again and recommend it to our friends. AC worked very well, and the water pressure in the showers made me never want to get out!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. The house is very cute, well appointed and has everything you need for a stay at the beach. Location is fabulous with super easy access to the beach, shops and restaurants. As a first time visitor to Anna Maria, we loved the relaxed atmosphere of the island. Our family stayed at The Blue House for 6 nights and were thrilled with the accommodations! House was extremely clean and well appointed, but the outdoor area is the real star! The heated pool was perfect for my kids and the tiki bar area was awesome for entertaining. My boys also enjoyed being right on Pine and loved walking up to get ice cream, pizza, and being just a block from the beach. Great trip and we would absolutely stay again!

You could vacation in this home, & never leave, and have a great vacation!The location cannot be beat! Our favorite restaurant, The Waterfront, is within walking distance. The Donut Experiment is right across the street & is not to be missed! A car is not necessary as there are plenty of gift shops, restaurants etc all within walking distance. Renting a golf cart was fun though!You can walk in one direction to Tampa Bay and in the other direction to the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico. Frankie is so patient with instructions, etc & always responds quickly. No wonder she is a Premier Host! Do not hesitate to rent this home! You will not regret it. We hope to return in the future!

This house exceeded every expectation we had! It was extremely clean and inviting and our kids loved the pool, waterfall, tiki bar and great sound system! This house did not disappoint one bit! It is immaculately kept and perfectly located! Out of all our vacations, this was the cleanest house we have stayed in! As mentioned in prior reviews, the owner is very responsive and beyond helpful We cannot wait to return!

The house was as advertised and was a perfect getaway for my family of four. Great location! Only feedback would be to give the renters the option to turn off the waterfall in the pool area as it is quite loud.

Casa Caliente was everything we could have wanted, and so much more!! The kitchen was well stocked and amazing, open concept allowed us to see straight out to the pool. The pool is perfection. The sound of the waterfall makes it the most serene oasis escape. At night, no detail is spared from the lights in and around the pool to the fire pits, and the cafe lights that light up the palms lining the perfectly landscaped yard. The Niles sound system absolutely made our experience that much better if it were even possible. Located across the street from many dining and shopping options we never really used the car and walked everywhere! The beach is a very short walk, there’s nothing like AMI beaches. Frankie was a gracious host, very attentive, and we cannot wait to make this house our yearly spot! Thanks Frankie!

We had a great stay at AMI! The house is beautiful and well-appointed. We loved the privacy yet close proximity to the beach and shops. The pool was lovely! Everything was as advertised and check in and check out was super easy. Definitely recommend!

For those that don’t like to read: YES, you should stay here!My wife and I stayed here with two of our adult children visiting for a few nights. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Caliente. The home is odd in some ways, e.g. there are external doors off the bedrooms, but once you notice the oddities, you realize the quirks don’t matter at all. You also realize this home is made to entertain. The pool area is simply awesome. The little touches matter as well. I love the totem men on the rock waterfall. Their eyes light up at night along side the fire pots that frame the waterfall. It’s quite beautiful and is a nice touch. The tiki hut has bar seating and a fridge, which is super handy. The pool isn’t huge, but it’s big enough. The sound system outside is fantastic. My wife and I aren’t huge party animals, but I could see how you could really have a rocking afternoon at this pool! We spent A LOT of time outside in and by the pool. The home has two bedrooms, which work fine. We had no issues with storage or bedding. Everything in the bedrooms was fine. The master bath - WOW. It was definitely in the running for most awesome master bath. The master bath shower was sublime. There are, count them, six shower heads, with control that allow you to adjust as you see fit. It makes me want to redo my shower at home. I’ll leave it at that. The location of the home is right on the primary thoroughfare (Pine). At first we thought it would be loud at night but we had no issues. This is not a party town and it closes up fairly early. The location is nice because you are close to a few restaurants for quick bites and the general store is just a few blocks away. My guilty pleasure was nightly cookies from the general store. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Communication with the owner was prompt and easy. We encountered no problems. We had a great time. By the end of the week my wife and I were laughing because we really couldn’t find anything to nitpick about. The only possible suggestion we came up with would be a bathroom in the garage area so you wouldn’t have to dry off to go inside to use the bathroom. Also, my mobile phone would not take calls in the home, so calls have to be placed/received outside. Apple iMessage works fine through the WiFi.I’ll end this with a quote from the master bathroom towel which really resonated with me: “If you are lucky enough to be at the beach, you are lucky enough.”
