kitchen utensils were missing some key items when cooking a Christmas dinner for 6 ie vegetable peeler and the cutlery were all mismatched which wasn’t our experience last year

I't' a very comfortable and spacious bungalow with good facilities and a nice garden to sit out in when the weather allowqeed. Hosts were there to hand if you needed anything

The design of the shower rooms wasn't the best and the floor flooded very easily

The lodge was great and we'd definitely stay there again. The only problem that we had was not being able to spend more time at the lodge itself as we were out at a wedding for most of the time! Though we did manage to squeeze in an excellent long walk in the area on arrival.

Immaculate, spacious lodge with a private garden & patio. Wonderful hosts, good location, lovely pubs nearby serving excellent meals. Would definitely return.

lovely little lodge. perfect size for a family enough beds and bathrooms. master bed could be a king size bed and put in washing machine but these won’t put us off visiting again. central locations. friendly hosts. i requested a cot and high chair perfect .

Beautiful location and a friendly welcome, extra touches provided for Christmas stay was very much appreciated. The lodge was clean and facilities were perfect, everything was provided for and had a very enjoyable stay all beds were comfy and everyone enjoyed their stay in the group.

Heard some noise from next door but nothing that bothered us.

Everything location was perfect so peaceful, clean , tidy fantastic hosts. Couldn’t fault the stay was perfect for a couple nights with family. Will definitely be staying again and recommending to friends and other family members.

Nothing was all perfect

The property was very clean, well equipped, good size and centrally located for everything we wanted to see. Lots of luxuries provided - soaps, towels, kitchen equipment etc. Lovely private garden with outdoor furniture - lovely to relax in the evening sun. The owners are right next door - and ready to help if we needed them………we didn’t because they had thought of everything. 😀

A really well decorated property, beautify light inside. Lots of space and all the utensils that could be required for a stay. Complimentary bottle of bubbly and water was very well received. A really nice pub and corner shop both well within walking distance was also a great benefit.

Wonderful stay, couldn't fault it. Great location with some good walking and fantastic pubs close by. Very happy to recommend and will be looking to stay here again sometime in the future.

The house looked lovely and was generally clean and comfortable but there were some significant things that didn't meet my expectations.

I had to bleach the kitchen sink area. There were bits of egg shell in the plug hole, demonstrating that it hadn't been cleaned properly. There was plenty of crockery but not enough cooking pots / pans, etc. The cutlery was just cheap. The single beds were very nice, but one of the double beds was badly damaged. The double beds were just uncomfortable.
