I love the property and most of it is excellent.

The children’s play room was dirty with left over food on the floor and in the furniture. Toys were broken. Felt dirty being in there with my grandchild. Place needs a overhaul. I also don’t like the restaurant staff allowing guests to come in for breakfast in their pyjamas. Makes the place look chavvy.

On this occasion, the breakfast buffet was slow being refilled to the point of I didn't have some of the cooked breakfast, ie, sausage and mushrooms. When you are a diabetic this leaves it very limited as to what you can have hot to eat. There was a variety of other food from cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt,ham,cheese and several varieties of bread. I didn't go hungry..

I absolutely loved this place. It was so child / family friendly. The play room and swimming pool were a particular hit with my 2 year old and children eat free in the restaurant so we had a delicious and very reasonably priced evening meal there. The rooms are clean, very comfortable and have everything you need as a family / staying with children. I loved the huge TV with all the channels and it allowed you to cast your phone to it too so we watched a film from my netflix account on it. Overall an excellent hotel and exceptional value for money.

If you could put small fridges in the rooms. We struggled getting cold drinking water when we were in the rooms.

When I arrived the room just had single beds and I had requested a double bed, when I went to reception I was helped by Tehani who was so helpful and friendly. Thank you!

Evening meal could have been better - ordered steak pie and it arrived within a couple of minutes of being ordered

Bed & pillows were hard to sleep on, room was very warm, used air con but this switched off after short while. Not all guests have apps on their phones, as would be nice to have a guest directory to look at.

Customer service and poor communication between staff . We had booked half board still we got charged full meal and it took 52 min between mains cleared and dessert service

Mainly your staff. They were exceptionally helpful, polite and efficient. They dealt with issues from other guests so well and the argumentative people left the desk smiling.

There is a quiet zone but the noise from the other guests was still annoying. Maybe a quieter quiet zone could be put in place?! Also on this form you state ‘paid’ Wi-Fi . Yes great but I thought it was free?

The food wasn’t great

I would like to make special mention to the staff in the restaurant especially the young man who helped us with a really big party booking. He was on hand to support us throughout and made sure we had our food at the right time. We will be back again next year to stay and would love for him to get some recognition for this as it was a big group all arriving at different times

There are always areas we could improve - fridge in the room would be good as we are there for a long period and would like to keep chilled water / fruit in the room.

Accessible room , comfortable bed, air conditioning, staff helpful and friendly. Quiet room, no traffic noise heard.

Room 8, wet room flooded , did not slope to drain. Pools of water making difficult to access toilet and wash hand basin. Suggest putting another drain in floor or providing something to sweep towards shower drain. Reported to staff member. But apart from that it was a great accessible room.

Clean, very helpful staff, comfortable beds and well equipped bedrooms.

Only 5 accessible parking spaces and three of them seemed to have cars permanently parked in them. Consequently, unable to get an accessible parking space during the three night stay.
