Location was excellent and staff very helpful and friendly.

It was very warm the night we stayed and because there is no air conditioning we had to keep the windows open which meant it was very noisy. Between the heat and the noise I didn't get much sleep. The elevator quit working - luckily after we got our bags upstairs - but that was very inconvenient when leaving as the elevator was still not fixed.

The room size is impressive, and the breakfast is also very lovely probably slightly overpriced but good quality products. Afternoon tea has a great atmosphere.

The room was upgraded because I couldn't use the lift, so the size was huge. However, it was street-facing and had no sound control, so we could hear late-night noises as if they were in our room. This was on a Wednesday; I imagine it would be worse on the weekend if tolerable at all. Even street sweepers who started at 1 AM sounded like they were inside our room so that we couldn't get any sleep. I highly recommend inside-facing rooms only, as the windows are paper-thin.

In a great location right by the Hbf. Staff friendly and spoke good English. Nice comfy bed and pillows. Very nice food in the restaurant downstairs.

Very nice traditional hotel in an excellent location. Very good proper German breakfast with lovely coffee. Room spotless. Very friendly and efficient reception staff.

Single bed rather small for me. Don't like the square pillows, gives you a crook in the neck.

Very central location but nice and quiet in the room. Comfortable bed and good en-suite. Helpful staff and nice bar/cafe next to the foyer. Complimentary drinks and snacks in the minibar.

The bathroom was quite compact so climbing out of the (over the bath) shower was a little bit of an effort!
