This is an annual get together for a group of 4 couples. We have done three years of house boating , one year of cabins and then we found How Bay Beach House! It checks EVERY box!!

W had a great stay at this lovely cottage, more of a home than a holiday cottage. It's off the beaten track, which suited us fine, enjoying slow starts with coffee on the gorgeous deck and evenings playing games in the living room. We weren't expecting a rutted dirt road in, but taking it slow was ok. The house is lovely, lots of room for our party of 2 parents and 5 adult young people. The weather wasn't great, but we got out on the little beach and walked, and used the kayaks and canoe. Not really a swimming trip!We enjoyed watching the herons, cormorants and seals in the bay. It was central enough that we were able to visit a few places: Souris light house, Montague, Basin Head beach, Charlottetown for supper one night and Greenwich park for hiking while we were there. The kitchen was fantastic, very well stocked with everything we needed to cook with: we also used the pellet BBQ and cooked our own lobsters in the big pot. We loved the coffee maker and espresso/cappuccino maker. It was a bit rainy, so the rooms felt a bit damp and there were a lot of mosquitos, but we lit the coils and chased them away. All around a great visit to the Island.

Our weekend here was absolutely incredible. From the moment we booked with Jovettet and Lawrence, everything was great. They were quick and more than willing to answer any question we had. Upon arrival, the house was absolutely spotless and filled with any amenity one might need for a night/weekend/week away. If Jovetter and Lawrence would have us. we are already planning to return next year. Thank you so much for opening your home to us!

We booked this incredible home for a staff retreat and were not disappointed. It had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook amazing meals. There was enough space for our group of 5-7 to sleep. There is a cot and also a few large couches if any extra people need to crash last minute. Communication with Jovette was seamless. Check in/out was very easy. Thank you!

We have nothing but good things to say about this rental. The kitchen had everything we could have needed and more, we had plenty of space for our family of 9 to spread out around the house and the beds were very comfortable! The weather was a little chilly so we didn’t get to spend as much time outside as we would have liked but the deck and the surrounding property were incredible and the view second to none! The house was immaculately clean and even though the house was decorated with beautiful art throughout, everything was placed out of reach of little hands so we felt at ease having the kids around without having to worry. This is the second time we have stayed at this property for an annual girls weekend. It's a beautiful home which comfortably sleeps our large group. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the view is incredible. It's a private location on the water, cozy and comfy in the fall and I imagine it would be spectacular in the summer!

This exceptional home is clean, comfortable and meets your every need! There was plenty of space for our family of seven and two dogs to spread out and relax. Moving around on the first floor is easy for a person with mobility issues. The views are outstanding and encourages you to see more. Walks along the scenic beach and wading in the warm water is very relaxing. Nature is all around you and never fails to deliver something new everyday. We had an amazing time and would return here again in a minute!

We enjoyed our stay so much we didn’t want to leave. Jovette thought of everything in this home. From the well equipped kitchen right down to having water shoes available for the kayakers. We had a perfect weekend!

As we rode down the country PEI red dirt road we wondered, "what lies beyond beyond"? The answer, a beautifully designed and decorated retreat for friends of many years to spend time in a serene setting.

House was clean, huge and beautiful - right on a secluded beach. Jovette was responsive with any questions we had. Watched the tides come in and out, mucked around in the PEI mud, watched some movies (no blueray just FYI) Plenty of room for myself and my husband and my parents, and my two kids plus our two dogs! First few days were rainy and cold but we had plenty of firewood and a lovely fireplace and it was quite cozy. Once it warmed up we BBQ’d steaks on the deck and had a bonfire at the fire pit. Only detractions were the mosquitoes- which you can’t do much about - and it was about an hour and a half from cavendish so a bit remote. All in all it was a lovely time and I’d go back again no hesitation.

We had a wonderful stay at the beach house. Fully equipped kitchen, plenty of sleeping space with an amazing view! Would definitely return.

This beach house was all we could have dreamed of and more. A huge deck for star gazing at night and sunning during the day. Everything we could possibly need (other than food and toiletries) was provided. With 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms- one with an I incredible walk in shower, another with a clawfoot tub- provided lots of room for our family gathering. Every room has an incredible view of Howe Bay and the open waters beyond. The red sand beach is only steps down from the immaculately kept lawn and is wonderful for beachcombing. The secluded setting and peaceful sounds of waves lapping at the shore washes life's stresses away. The hosts are wonderful and available to answer any questions or concerns. I highly recommend Howe Bay Beach House without hesitation.

We stayed at Howe Bay Beach house with our 3 sons to celebrate 2 of them graduating from University. The house was absolutely perfect! And the view!! Loved watching the tide going in and out. Plenty of room for all of us. Bedrooms and furniture so comfortable, views from every room. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed making family meals and sitting around the table. We golfed at Brudenell River and Dundarave golf courses and loved them both. Enjoyed sitting around the campfire and most of all the great memories we shared and made during our stay!

The house and location were wonderful and Jovette was wonderful wonderful hosts Highly recommend it

We had a group stay here while we were in the area for a wedding, and we could not have found a better place! The property is as beautiful as the pictures, and the cottage is stocked with everything you could need from fire wood to kitchen appliances to extra blankets and fans in each room. The folks who own the cottage are extremely accommodating, easy to communicate with, and are a pleasure to deal with. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot say enough good things about this place. If you are lucky enough to find a time it's not booked I strongly suggest you take the opportunity to go relax at this seaside paradise!

The house was much nicer then it showed in photos.The most fully equipped vacation rental we have used. Booked 1 week for our 50th anniversary with family & close friends. The owners were very nice & friendly but everything was perfect so we had no need to phone them. Our dog loved to chase bunnies & play on the beach(no bunnies were injured) Even on the cool rainy days we light fireplace & enjoyed the cottage. Large table in kitchen perfect for evening games. Upstairs sofa great for lazing & enjoying the view. For us this place had it all. Just bring food for 1st nights dinner & bkft then you are fine, there are all the needs available. Liked to shop in Montague better then Souris much better selection, our son had to go to Charlottetown for good Champagne but wasn't a problem. Bought lobster at nearby wharf. Very enjoyable holiday.

As our first family of 6 adults, two children 2 years old and 4 months, we had such an enjoyable time. The home accommodated our needs and we enjoyed the grounds with lots of games, enjoyed the fire pit and also the seals. We BBQ, and walked along the beach. Our family healed while staying here and I would recommend this vacation property to everyone, the owners were so kind and helpful, its a beautiful place and with an amazing view. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Six of us - husband, myself, my mother and three young adults (20's) stayed here and we all found the place amazing - and all of us want to come back. The house was clean and very well kept and had everything you could every require plus additional things would have never thought about - spices, lobster utensils, laundry detergent, etc. The view was amazing with the tides - no one tired of walking on the beach and we were always finding something new to discover. There was a fire pit which we sat around a couple of nights and made smores. The deck was large with lots of places to sit - the media room had lots of things to choose from - the kitchen had everything you could possibly need and then some. If you should stay here you have to visit the Fiddling Lobster restaurant - wonderful owners and excellent foot - we ate in and also took out, also Rick's Seafood had great food. We did some sightseeing and everything was very close and there was never any traffic so we got to places very quickly. Wonderful place to stay!! Look forward to coming back!

This delightful home was everything we had hoped for and much more. It was superbly equipped with our every want and need anticipated. Furnishings and linens were of the highest quality and everything was exquisitely clean. The property was equivalent to walking into a 4/5 Star hotel and the gourmet kitchen was great fun for the cooks in our group. This big house provided lots of private spaces just made for a quiet read and a great find were the clams in the bay that became part of three fantastic 'chowder' dinners. The only problem - one week just wasn't enough. This year we have booked for two !
