The decor was pleasant with a spacious walk in shower. The receptionist was friendly and professional. The communal areas were nicely decorated and clean. My room was cleaned each day if required by the friendly cleaning staff. The pension was located centrally with easy access to the beach and the Old Town. I loved everything about San Sebaatian itself.

The reception is closed between 10:00 to 14:00 each day. It is clearly stated on the booking page, but I am surprised they work like this. I arrived at 14:10, fortunately the receptionist agreed to wait on for me. The bed was a little short, I am only 175cm but my feet stuck out over the end. The room was tiny and it should really only have a single bed in it and priced accordingly. Lastly the wall between my room and nextdoor was very thin, such as I could hear an oblivious couple nextdoor until 2:30am. This meant I had a poor night's sleep on the last night.

Location was very central. Walking distance to main sights. Communication with staff was prompt. Even though the bathroom was quite small the shower was really good.

No air conditioning, street outside is very noisy. Quite expensive for what the pension offers.

We didnt sleep not even an hour, due to a party on the street at some bar nearby. Was by fat the worst stay at a hotel ever.Bot necesarely because of the pension itself, but the location near a bar...man, if you want to sleep..maybe abother location would be better, or if you wanna join the party..then its all good. Parking is a problem too...calculate with aprox 25..30 euro plus for a day of parking. That if you can find one nearby. The plastic door/window at the balcony...its a joke. Literally you can hear anything that moves outside...its like there is nothing separating you from outside.

Great small hotel. Fantastic location close to train station and walking distance to old town and beach. Clean comfortable quiet rooms in a lovely old building. Staff very helpful and patient as we were travelling in a large group and sometimes a little over excited!

PARKING. DO NOT VISIT BY CAR OR EVEN MOTORCYCLE. The streets are jam packed. You couldn't park a skateboard. We had to find a multi story that cost us 30 Euros for 18 hours. This despite the Booking.com listing saying there was parking available.

Very friendly staff. Our arrival was delayed due to train issues, but they were helpful in trying to sort our check-in even though we arrived after the 10pm cut-off. The hotel's location is convenient, approx 10 minutes walk from the beach and 15 minutes from the Old Town.

There is no air conditioning in the room, just a fan on the wall. We had high temperatures for the period of our stay, which made it near on impossible to get any cool air into the room, and a couple of the nights were less than comfortable.
