La Petite Auberge is a beautiful, peaceful place with such a nice and welcoming staff. I definitely have to highlight the food. Breakfast was very diverse and the dinner is really an experience. Also the views from the restaurant are amazing. In the garden there is also a big swimming pool with a nice surrounding.

The food, especially at evenings was out of this world. So good. The view was incredible with the mountains in the background, the sunset, the stars at night, plenty little corners to go read a book in quiet, the city of Tourtour was super charming (except for the square) but filled with little galleries. The staff was so kind - we will without a doubt coming back next year.

We went to more than 17 hotels on this trip through France, not one place had cushions for the sun beds, no different here, but that was the only thing I missed ;)

Lovely staff, amazing location, delicious breakfast, lovely swimming pool, amazing dinner. Exceptional service. Absolutely loved our stay.

The owners and the employees are amazing an really kind, beautiful an quiet place to enjoy nature and last but not least really good food. I really recommend this place.

Our room, which was advertised as the "last one available" was very disappointing as it was situated at the back of all the other rooms and it did not have the view that we were expecting. In the morning we discovered that there were two rooms next to ours with views that were unoccupied. Why were these rooms not offered to us? Our breakfast costs were not included and we had additional taxes to pay on departure. The terms were misleading as only 10% of the VAT and part of the tourist tax was included in the price quoted.

We were lucky enough to discover La petite auberge de Tourtour on the last weekend in October, right before the winter closure and have enjoyed a wonderful (too short!) stay! The warm and friendly welcome, the exquisite lounge and bar, the cosy dining room with its fireplace and the great terrace overlooking the landscape of the Haut-Var were all superb. The rooms are well fitted, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, they bring a feeling of peace and quiet. The pool looks fantastic (although it was too cold to try). We definitely wish to return to this secluded and exquisite place, we felt at home with the quiet and well thought soft luxury of being cared for.

This hotel is absolutely a gem ...very pretty, nicely decorated and a beautiful pool area. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and we felt a home from the moment we walked in! We traveled with our dog and got a room close to the backside door so it was easy for our dog to quickly get outside..very thoughtful. The breakfast is very extended and has everything one wishes for..from smoked trout, scrambled eggs, to fresh yoghurt , croissants and whole-wheat bread.

We stayed at the end of the season, so there were not many guests , and that was probably why the restaurant was closed on the first evening. Which was really a pity as the main reason why we’d booked this hotel was because of the restaurant. The second evening the restaurant was open and we had a very lovely and delicious dinner though.
