The guest house is very quite, with beautiful views across the river. The owner is very friendly and helpful and guided us to some very good local restaurants.

My stay at Riverside Guest House was truly wonderful. I had a great night's sleep both nights, the facilities were clean and comfortable, and the owners were attentive and friendly. Special thanks to the lady who made us breakfast - she was super warm and easy to chat to!
There were roadworks outside which made parking a bit tricky, but I was informed of them beforehand and we managed to park in the nearby church car park free of charge, so it wasn't a worry after that.

Great value for money and well situated for town centre. Fantastic breakfast & very clean room.
The traffic noise from a busy main road was a problem for me but Elaine arranged me to move to another room at the rear.

Clean and comfortable B&B with very friendly hosts. Breakfast was really first class. Within easy walking distance of Morpeth town center where there is a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Lollo Rosso Italian restaurant highly recommended. I'd stay again without hesitation.

Although the facilities were not en-suite (which was perfectly clear when I booked), they were as good as en-suite because they were just across the corridor from my room and I didn't seem to be sharing them with any other guests while I was there.
Didn't seem to be any garden space for guests although that may have been because of covid social distancing.

Breakfast was great - and a lovely couple. Location was on the high street so really practical.
The parking was a little walk away in a car park, but still fine.

Morpeth is a great, interesting place. The hosts were very welcoming.
There is a main road running by the front of the building, so some of the rooms including my bedroom had a lot of noise.

Bed was comfortable, slept well.
Plenty of free parking and really close to the centre of Morpeth, plenty of pubs and restaurants.

It was really cold. Radiator v small, couldn't get warm.
Could have been cleaner, found a chocolate bar wrapper at the side of the bed.
Didn't realise shampoo and shower gel were not provided

Breakfast was great. Wife had the cooked breakfast whilst I to the continental option. Friendly service and flexible with the menu 😀

This was a lovely roomy and comfortable B&B in a convenient location not too far from the centre of town. Facilities provided in the room were good and Elaine spent time to give a good recommendation for dinner also provided a very nice breakfast in the morning
