Very nice host, gave us another room after we weren’t satisfied with the one we got.
Not all the rooms are bug protected, frogs in the entrance, no hot water (like every hostel in San Juan), not very clean

i ended up staying 1 month a this hostel and everything was perfect and clean.
Maria and her family are really lovely people.
if i come back i will return for sure.

Bona ubicació
El lloc és bastant senzill pel preu que té. La dutxa no es pot regular fred/calent. I les habitacions són molt molt senzilles. Amb poca intimitat perquè les finestres de l’habitació no són hermètiques i donen als espais comuns. A més d’impedir que entri la llum de fora.

Bien situé dans le centre, près de la mer.
Hôtel qui a une grosse capacité d'accueil. Accueil limite par la cheffe. Indisponible car elle s'occupe de tout... Me présente une chambre qui n'a rien à voir avec ma réservation. Après discussion, me propose la chambre qui correspond à ma réservation...
J'ai souhaité rester deux nuits supplémentaires. Elle m'a demandé de changer de chambre. Cette fois ci je me suis retrouvée de nouveau dans une petite chambre avec lits superposés et chaleur épouvantable. Rien pour poser les affaires. Le prix a été le même que pour la chambre réservée... C'est pareil dit elle... J'avais un lit double et un lit simple!!! Tout cela pour dire qu'il y a eu abus sur le prix. A bon entendeur.
Pour le petit déjeuner quelques fruits en plus seraient les bienvenus.
Pour l'eau filtrée, elle a un très mauvais goût. Une fois de plus c'est en mode économie, tout comme les ventilos qui ne sont jamais allumés dans l'endroit commun pour prendre les repas. Quand à la cuisine à disposition, elle est minuscule et non nettoyée. La pire vue au Nicaragua. Les travaux dans l'hôtel commencent dès 7h00 mais le petit déjeuner est à 8h00...

Owned by the nicest local family! The staff were just so sweet and welcoming. The dorm was super clean and comfortable, with a fan at each beds. Quiet place and very good location. The breakfast was good too !

The amount of hammacks was amazing! The location is great--only a block from the beach. There is a breakfast (not free). There was a fan for each person!
The bathroom wasn't perfectly clean... but nice besides that.

Near the beach away from the clubs,bars and raucous streets. Quiet at night. Helpful Manager. Easy reach for bus

There seem to be nice rooms in the front. The owner was very nice and breakfast was good.
Our room was in the backyard which was not nice at all. There was a weird smell outside and in the room. Nothing in the room for hanging your cloth.

Owners are very very kind. Willing to help and are nice. Price was good. Hostel was quite, not too much, but offers the right things to go to spend a few nights there. I was in a dorm, and the bathroom was big enough for everyone. Internet wifi was working well if you want to work.

The staff was friendly
The location was super just two minutes away from the beach.
The breakfast was very tasty you could choose between pancakes and gaillo pinto.
The kitchen was very dirty and could be more equipped.
The bathrooms could also be a bit cleaner

breakfast was free so cant rly knock it but it was just the wosr I ever had and 16 beds in one dorm is to much, staff were sometimes nice sometimes very cold dependent on person to person was strange vibe bur all n all was fine

Maria is a really nice and careful host. I felt really well and welcomed due to her. It is a nice and calm place a little bit outside but just a view minutes to the beach and into the city. There is a lot of space on the property with different places to relax. its a good place to stay for a while and calm down.

Good breakfast and plenty of space in the sun or shade. Plenty of hammocks and chairs. A block back from the beach, so not so much road noise.
Nice place except for too many barking dogs and they do not clean the sink in the shared kitchen.

Friendly owners, good breakfast, perfect location. Many places to chill and hang. Good value for the money. Would stay again.
The internet is sometimes very slow, Water in the sower had problems with the pressure- both these issues are typical for Latin Amerika.

Great breakfast, water to refill your bottle, rooms have your own personal fan you're not sleeping in the heat, showers is not hot but at a very good temperature for showering, easy to relax on porch, very quiet in evenings which a plus, when you've toured all day.
They should in my opinion have a microwave so guests can reheat leftovers food and cook noodles in a cup, backpackers love that, and they can cook extra food and reheat the following day.

The hostel was in a quiet location on the edge of town, away from all the noisy bars but still within short walking distance to everything. We felt safe and secure staying there, as the owners did not allow any visitors or random people into the hostel and the outside door is locked every night at 10pm (the owners will unlock it for you if you need to get in or out after 10pm). The owners were really lovely and sweet. Breakfast was yummy - either pancakes or beans and rice. It was quite hot inside the room but there were two fans to cool it down. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was clean, and there were hammocks and chairs outside the room to hang out in. Very good value for money.
Our room had a bit of a funky damp smell but we couldn't smell it anymore when the fans were turned off, and the rooms next door didn't have the smell, so it might have just been ours.
