Nice accommodation. Close to town

The pool wasn't accessible from inside the house. You had to walk out the front door around the outside to the back to get to the pool. Not a really big deal. Just a comment.

It was easy to get there, it's well located (except a hill to go to main strip). Main street about a 10min walk. Vouchers for breakfast are generous amounts. Breakfast nook is available. It is clean.

Our bathroom was in the hall. Private but not in the room and it wasn't specified when we made reservation. Fine but a bit inconvenient. To go to the pool you need to go out of the house around the corner. Inconvenient if you are in a bathing suit and carrying beverages/food. Pool is cold. Flatscreen tv advertised is actually tiny (maybe 14 in).

Coffee for mornings were great out of a ceramic mug Other breakfast choices on site not my preference but having vouchers for different restaurants nearby for breakfast were very welcomed and delicious places Location was exceptional, able to walk to Main Street Picton for dinner 3 of our nights Very short trips to other must see sights like Sandbanks and Lake on the mountain

The location for parking at the site said parking for 4 cars Only enough space for 3 cars 4th is on street

Loved the pool! The man who lives there told us about all these cool local places to visit and was really nice. Best part was the two breakfast vouchers that we’re in our room for us.

AC didn’t work that well and it was super hot out. Other than that no complaints!

Nice location, close to downtown we were able to walk from there. The breakfast vouchers were well used at 2 excellent restaurants and covered the total breakfast bill. The backyard is beautiful ! The beds were very comfortable.

The gate to access the backyard is hard to open if you’re short

Property had a pool which we enjoyed. Location was close to the city center. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, although the room was very small and the only window was all obscured by the air conditioning and could not open.

The sink in the bathroom had two distinct faucets, old way, one for hot water and one for cold. We could not use the hot water as it was too hot and we burned our hands when we first used it. So we had to wash with cold water. We recommend the hosts to install one faucet that can mix the hot and cold water before more people get burns. It's a liability as it is now. Not sure why the hosts don't take care of this. We haven't seen a place like this anywhere we traveled in North America or Europe.

The breakfast was a voucher which covered breakfast at two good locations, but we did not know until arrival what those places would be. Could get coffee, yoghurt and juice from breakfast nook. Bed was comfortable. The pool looked good although we did not use it.

The hosts did not respond to emails and phone calls, which always included my phone number. I had booked in March from US with different number and assume they we using that one, in spite of being given the correct one at least four times. The reason for contact was that the ceiling fan/light combination did not work and we did not have sufficient towels. We finally saw the owner? when leaving who still insisted that she did not receive my emails or phone calls and that she had done all she could to contact us. She also did not answer the question about the ceiling fan, which I believe they knew was broken, but referred us to another fan in the corner and the bedside lights. The TV was the size of a computer monitor.

The coffee was great to have. We really appreciated the breakfast vouchers to restaurants in town - so thoughtful. The house was so lovely and quaint. We loved having access to the backyard and pool area. Such a nice perk to our summer stay!

The room was a little hot!

Location is super and close to downtown and many amenities. Hosts provided vouchers for the breakfast for each day and the choices are good.

The floor is a bit squeaky and we were afraid we would disturbed the people in the neighboring rooms. The room we were in (the yellow room) does not have a in-suite bathroom and hence we had to leave our room to use the bathroom across the hallway.

The B+B is lovely the room though small was adequate and the bathroom was clean. The coffee nook with juice, water, coffee and fruit was as described. The vouchers for breakfast covered my meals. Close to downtown and walkable. I did not use the pool or backyard but it looked nice. The free wine tasting coupons were a bonus.

There was total lack of communication. I called every number they had including their "emergency" number because the check in instructions were not clear and NO ONE CALLED BACK. They kept sending me the instructions - like 10 times but they contradicted themselves. Late checkout was nice but I didn't find out until it was too late to use.

Great location only a 5 minute walk to the main shopping centre, harbour, and restaurants. The host provided morning self-serve options (coffee/tea, fruit, yoghurt) and then a full breakfast through gift cards to a tasty selection of local restaurants. The host was very responsive to questions via text. Cute room with a nice view. Would stay there again :)

As an older building with wooden floors, guests need to be aware that you may hear your neighbors, and everyone needs to keep noise to a minimum.

Very nice B & B, great location! Thanks for making early check-in possible; the little kitchenette with fridge and coffee maker, dishes etc. very nice to have!

Not a complaint, rather a recommendation: The room door was very squeaky! That must be annoying for guests in other rooms!

The breakfast coupons were good especially the ones for the Lighthouse. The Royal is too expensive for what you get. Couldn’t use the Crepe Escape because of food allergy to sugar

The breakfast nook was small. The overhead light wasn’t working so made it difficult in the evening to see the buttons on the microwave. Too bad we had to keep unplugging microwave to plug in kuerig. Also no tea kettle so had to boil water in microwave as tea made in coffee machine still has a coffee flavour in the tea. It would have been nice to have 2 easy chairs instead of the sofa (far too soft and low) and a table to play cards or other games. The write up of the room made it sound like the washroom was in the room but it was actually across the hall.
