This was a great spot to use as headquarters for our trip to Acadia National Park. After a short hiccup checking in (soon remedied), we found the house to be very comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen was very well stocked with a great selection of cookware, as well as a variety of spices and seasonings available. The rooms were very comfortable, and two of them quite spacious. Two TVs gave us additional options for viewing, although the cable/dish supplier had some issues. The view from the house was outstanding, and included newly built stairs down to the rocky beach. Kayaks were available, but we didn't use them. Lastly, our host Carolyn was great. She was very responsive and helpful and a joy to work with. I would stay at this house again without reservation.

Great ocean view. Can view cruise ships moored at Bar Harbor. Difficult to accommodate more than 4 adults comfortably. Very small dining table. Very small deck. No bathroom on upper level. Difficult to get kayaks & canoe down to water. Large kitchen.

We loved the house! With 6 adults, including my 85yr old mom, everyone had space to them selves. Mom had the main floor bedroom, and enjoyed sitting in the sun room and on the deck while we were out hiking mountains in Acadia Park. Having the 2 full bathrooms was a must. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools and equipment ( we used the lobster pot every night!) The hostess was wonderful. She was quick to respond to my many question prior to our stay, and even checked in with us while we were there. The area was quite and peaceful, just so relaxing. We were close to ANP, Bar Harbour, and all the stores that we needed. Thank you for a great vacation!

Mom had the first floor bedroom and really enjoyed the sun room and deck watching the boats and humming birds while we were out hiking up mountains in ANP. The bathrooms are big and spacious to. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and equipment ( we loved the lobster pot). The hostess was always available to answer questions prior to our stay. She even check in with us during the week to make sure everything was going well.

Beautiful, we’ll kept home on the water with Acadia National Park in background. Close to Bar Harbor and the Park. Host is very accommodating and friendly.

The cottage had everything we needed for a great stay. Host was welcoming and accessible. A perfect afternoon reading on the deck, watching the water. Close enough to the Park and Bar Harbor, but well away from the crowds. House includes steep staircase to lower level bedroom/bath/2nd sitting room. We'd definitely stay here again.

Nice and big home. Nicely furnished kitchen. Beautiful view and access to the water!

This lovely cottage has amazing views, plenty of room and provided a much needed respite from the hustle and bustle of the tourist attractions!
