Found the beds really comfortable, all the staff really friendly and the breakfasts excellent. We also found the meals in the bar and restaurant very good. The location was good for us as we wanted to visit resorts on the coast. A perfect place to stay for our short break.

The room facilities were great, the staff very welcoming and efficient The food was just as I liked.The local people were very sociable and added to the experience.

Perhaps the background noise from the extraction system from the kitchen during kitchen hours could be reduced.

Lovely substantial breakfast, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere in the bar. Room cosy and comfortable nights sleep

Electrics in room seemed a bit odd by the dressing table, spur coming off one socket to another. Is this legal?

Firstly before I'd even put my bag down when I walked into the bar I was asked what time I wanted breakfast took me by surprise before I even got a hello .shown room a little tired carpets smelt of wet dog and really grubby, bathroom although functional was outdated, poor lighting , although some sort of cupboard everything dumped on the floor ie coat . evening meal was ok very expensive the lady who served me was lovely I then was asked again what time I wanted breakfast as hotel doesn't open up till 7.30am I then was informed that all doors are locked and alarmed basically I wasn't allowed out (as a smoker ) like to go out early for a cigarette and walk before breakfast to which I was shown an area at the back of the kitchen (bin area ) filthy wasn't impressed . sadly as it being so expensive to eat and drink there poor rooms ,the only thing was great staff

Lovely pub and location! Had a great meal there and breakfast was great too. Rooms were lovely and clean and there were excellent tea/coffee facilities.

No complaints we had a great stay.
