Het lag in het historisch centrum. Typisch Italiaans. De gastheer, Francesco is fantastisch. Hij komt je ophalen op de parking zodat je niet met je bagage moet sleuren. Eens ter plaatse krijg je een plan van het centrum met de nodige en fijne uitleg. Hij is echt begaan met zijn gasten. Een aanrader.

Roof terrace with a stunning view, great breakfast and a very friendly host.

Francesco makes this place work from the very beginning collecting us from the car park and then putting a little snack together when he realised we handn’t had lunch. Gorgeous room underground- simple furnishing but good and comfortable. Nice bathroom. Great location. The breakfast was lovely and fresh and different on both days.

Only one little thing somewhere to hang your towel in the bathroom.

The host/owner Francisco could not have been more accommodating. Super lovely gentleman who gave us Beach️ chairs, amazing breakfast, picked us up from the car park and called us to let us know we left a bag in a restaurant in town. Also booked a boat hire for less than we would have rented a boat. Very personal touches that totally added to the value of this property.

The property is in an excellent location in walking distance to the historic centre, the port and beaches. It has a roof terrace for relaxing and breakfast. The room is comfortable, with a little balcony. a fridge and aircon. The bed is very comfortable. Francesco, our English speaking host, went out of his way to meet us at a car park, and get us and our luggage in his car to the lodging in a pedestrian area, advised us about a great boat trip along the coast and gave us vouchers for lounges and an umbrella at a private beach.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the property. There were 5 of us in our group. We shared a common entrance and all of our rooms were on the same floor. This was very convenient. Each of the three nice-sized bedrooms rooms had it’s own on-suite bathroom. The owner Francesco was always a text away. He helped us when we lost a room key or had any questions. He contacted me before arrival to set a time and picked us up at the bus station with our luggage which was so helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop was the highlight of the morning. Wonderful sea views with delicious and generous foods. We were served cappuccino, crusty Italian bread with salamis and cheeses, pastries, fresh fruit and juice. The location is excellent. Center of town is a five-minute walk. So many adorable little restaurants, pizzerias, shops and streets to pass the time discovering. They were having a bit of a chilly spell and it was somewhat rainy during our stay. The month of May is before the busy season so we liked that it was not crowded at all.

A few things to be noted… * there are about a dozen steps to climb to our rooms which was not a problem for us * the beds and pillows were rather firm * some street noise can be heard in the room *breakfast was served on the rooftop from 8-10am making it noisy in the rooms if you are a late sleeper * room key card is inserted inside room to turn on power to the room. Request two keys if you will have a different schedule during the day at all.
