Close to connections to London transport Check in quite easy.

Nothing really worked. Shower was scalding hot couldn't turn down. Standing fan didn't work. Some plugs you couldn't get power from. TV didn't work either.switched on to find scrambled reception.

Transportations were very near. There are multiple restaurants nearby. It is small and cozy.

The bathroom was tiny and could use better cleaning, there were no possible additional blankets, the street was a little too loud at night but it was okay for a couple nights stay

only one small opening window. need to have the pole to be able to open the skylight window for ventilation was hot in the room. carpet needs cleaning. cereal bowl was cracked I had to buy another one. mattress uncomfortable. being hot I was able to sleep on top of the doona which helped.

It was my first time in London in an apartment instead of a hotel. My initial fears about receiving the room key quickly evaporated. Since this was new to me, it was hard for me to imagine how this works. But it was very problem-free. For my cleanliness it was a bit dusty behind the cupboards but that does not mean that the apartment was not clean, on the contrary. The location of the appartment is very good. Within walking distance of the train station. Not far away is a small park with a playground and a large meadow to romp around. Shopping, restaurants are all on the main street and not even a minute's walk away. Beckenham is about 20 minutes from the city centre, but well worth the stay. I think Beckenham has a small-town feel and is definitely a good change from the hustle and bustle of the city when visiting London. It's definitely not my last stay at TLK Apartments & Hotel - Beckenham Junction.

Value for money

Great location. Super close to transport links: 1 minute walk from tram and train. Easy access. Straightforward, clear communication and check in instructions. The hosts seem professional. i made a specific request for the room to be cleaned before arrival since I read reviews about poor cleanliness. The room and bathroom were cleaned so that was great. Although the carpet was not great so I made sure to wear something on my feet! For the cost, though, this was a great stay on balance. Loved that there was a kitchenette with working kettle, microwave, toaster and fridge.

The toilet seat was loose and a complete hazard. Precarious to sit on. Disappointing to see this was already reported in a previous review. Carpet not well vacuumed and covered in cigarette burns. Hosts really should change it. Duvet cover had “small curly hairs” on it!

We lodged at the apartment for 2 weeks but we split the weeks cos we had to travel out of London so we stayed their for the first 5 days of our trip, just as my husband and I woke up the following morning we noticed red itchy bumps on our body. We assumed it was an allergy ,so we bought allergy medication..this itching persisted till our next stay at their apartment.. Fast forward to the second part of our stay there...we woke up to bed bugs crawling out the pillow.. Bear in mind that we stayed in different rooms on different floors in the apartment. Their beds are infested with bed bugs

There were two mice in my room. disgusting and the management did not care as this is probably the normality for them

The so called bed should be condemned & never used again. It's a health hazard. There is no way that was a bed. It felt like a cardboard cobbled together to make a bed. I couldn't sleep. I had severe back pain the next day & struggled to function. Because I had to stay in London 2 more nights- I found alternative hotel accommodation. This place should be reported to Environmental Health and Safety & shut down as a health hazard. It's dangerous to health. I would not put a homeless person in that bed.

Nothing dirty, un cleand room with horrible smell totally un livable. Miss advertisement on this property. Booked for 2 nights left after 1 minute due to the poor conditions off the room. Un helpful still who were not helpful.

Everything, despite being told id get refunded for refusing stay due to living conditions off the room i am still waiting neither booking.com or this property are processing this for me just being told to wait had this response now for 48hrs and i was told id hear back and get it processed by then.

Did not have breakfast

The property was not ready on arrival. Waited about 15 mins to get access to the property, and check-in time is 4 pm, so couldn't understand the delay. Been to the property on a few occasions, and no consideration has been given to entering the property earlier. The television did not work, the cable was hanging off. I spoke to the person who contacted me with the information for access, but he could not help and referred me to management by email, which I found to be absolute nonsense. Spoke to the cleaner who said the television has been like that for a few days and it has been reported To sum up, there was no effort put in for me to have a good stay.
