We had a wonderful weeks stay with David and Francesco at Casa della Scrittrice. They went above and beyond as hosts, with a wonderful breakfast, dropping location pins, recommendations for restaurants, shops, beaches and locals towns. The villa itself was lovely, with an amazing pool area, gardens and incredibly spacious rooms! It is situated between two really nice towns with a huge selection of restaurants and bars. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back and stay with David and Francesco and of course Pina and Toby! Thank you David and Francesco!

David and Francesco are an amazing hosts ❤️ They make some magic space! They lovely care about all details, designe, air of love and great music in the background during the breakfast or evening. We have no words to describe this - you should come and feel it!

We liked everything about Casa della Scrittrice! It is perfectly located in a quiet country area surrounded by olive trees but with so many of Puglia's beautiful hill towns and beaches a short drive away. David and Francesco have created an oasis of calm with the harmonious garden and swimming pool area and the tasteful and comfortable rooms, which are filled with personal touches and great attention to detail. They have breakfast (which include delicious homemade cake, fresh fruit salad and local produce and pastries) with their guests and made us feel welcome and at ease. They are generous not only with their interesting life stories but also with their local knowledge and tips regarding great places to eat, buy and explore. For foodies like us it was so relaxing to know they would unfailingly point you in the right direction! We left certain that we will be back to their beautiful casa.

Wonderful hosts, charming garden, very friendly pets, superb rooms with amazing details, friendly pets and very helpful little guidebook to help you see all greatest places in the area. And if you enjoy sweets for breakfast- you'll be in heaven! 😉

This is holiday heaven! David and Francesco are amazing hosts, we had a warm welcome from them and there lovely animals. Beautiful decorated rooms with a lot of comfort and super clean. The best start of the day with sociable breakfast at the big table with homemade cakes, fruit and almonds from the garden. The location is perfect to discover Puglia and have nice day trips to local markets, the beach, lovely villages with a lot of restaurants and bars, They made a big list with a lot of tips! We'll definitely come back :)
