My wife and I stayed here for our 6th Anniversary and we had a great time! Right across from beach access and walking distance to pretty much everything! We only drove to dinner once because my wife was in heels lol. The place was clean and perfect size for the 2 of us. When it was quiet at night, we could hear the waves crashing with the window open!

Easy access to the beach

My husband & I were on a last minute trip without our kids and we needed a small place but more than what a hotel room would offer. This fit the bill. Yes, it has cinder block walls...it's the bottom of a beach house. But, it was finished off with trimwork around the ceiling and most importantly it was CLEAN! The bed & bath linens were nice. The space stayed very cool even during super hot & high humidity days. The location could not be beat for beach access and bonus having our own off street parking space. We could easily walk the couple the blocks to Bert's and everything on Center Street. I would stay here again if it was just the two of us again. I even asked her if she rented out the upstairs since we loved the location so much to bring our kids back with us.

The property is the perfect location to walk to the beach, walk to the shops and restaurants. Owner was very accommodating and friendly. Place was clean. Will be back to stay

Great location; easy to find and you could tell the owners had experience as hosts. Better labels on doors would be useful. Another guest walked into our space!

The property is a great value for the location. Close access to the beach and within walking distance of the restaurants and shops in the heart of Folly Beach. I would highly recommend staying here.

The unit was across the street from the beach so it was very convenient to go there every day. It was also a short walk to the pier and Center Street where all the restaurants are located. We enjoyed our time there very much!

Overall good. Be nice too clean/wash patio furniture and fix stove—only 2 front burners work. Also paint floor which has clearly suffered from flooding.

Just across the street from the beach, this house was wonderful!

Renting thru VRBO was very easy. Great communication thru emails.. We arrived finding the rental just as described. The only complaint we had was there was no toilet paper and we were unable to use the washing machine due to black stinky mold. Otherwise great experience...

We wouldn’t stay there again. Our first time using Vrbo, and most pictures show the outside of building, the inside not so nice. That’s all I’m going to say.

This place is as advertised. It was very clean, nicely decorated, and all the appliances and bathroom fixtures are newer. Everything worked. Best of all, it is a one minute walk to the beach. You’re as close as many oceanfront houses without the oceanfront price. It’s also 4-5 blocks from Restaurants and bars. There’s a dedicated off street parking space. We parked our car and walked or rode bikes everywhere. Be aware that it’s a basement apartment, and it’s small. But if you’re looking for a reasonably priced, clean, very well located place for a couple, possibly with a child, this may be for you.

Great location, very very clean, everything worked, bed was very comfortable. It is still a basement with concrete block wall and not much light. This is not the upper floor. The furniture is old and there is no place for your clothes. The check in email had the lockbox code listed twice, one was correct.
