This was my first time staying in this property and I was not disappointed. The property looks just like the pictures and it is conveniently located on the beach. This is a beautiful condo that you can tell has been recently updated; the condo was spotless as well. Overall the west winds was a quiet property, however a person on our floor liked to play loud in the afternoon. That was distracting but overall, not an issue unless you like quiet all day. Days before my arrival, the property manager sent all the instructions and information needed about my stay. They send a link to a website that displays all the codes you will need to get into various parts of the property and condo, information on what your rental covers, how to rent beach chairs, and more. Everything I could possibly need for my stay in the property was included on the site. The check in process was simple, however the instructions told me the access code would be ready at 4, it was not. I had to wait between 5-10 after 4p before the access code to enter the property worked. The workers at the property are kind and they are constantly cleaning which maintains the cleanliness of the property. Just like the check in process, check out was a breeze; I feel like I got my money’s worth on this condo. I will definitely rent this property again.

We love the Miramar Beach Sandestin location. The proximity to the golf courses , shopping , restaurants are perfect. We’ve been coming here for 3 years now. Westwinds is a beautiful property. The pool area with all the palm trees adds a very tropical feel in January/February when we stay. We will continue to come here.

Small problem with the leak detection system that was easily resolved. Good heated pool, short walk to the beach.

The first night we had no air conditioning, when I called the property manager she assured me there was nothing wrong with it .. we had turned it on went to the pool came back and it was 80.. never came down .. she did call a repair man around 5:25 he did come around 8:25 it was indeed out it was water cooled and the lines were air blocked .. it was fixed when ask about compensation for no air .. she said there would be non and we could leave if we wanted to leave .. I do say she did let us in at around 3:00 with a temporary code before check in at 4:00. I would be very hesitant to rent from this company again and definitely not this unit until new furniture is in the unit .. West Winds amenities are the best and we go 2 times a year .. it is the best

The condo is in a very nice location and view of the golf is beautiful however I didn’t give it 4 stars due to living room furniture really needs cleaning better yet up dating so does guest bedroom and bathroom other than that it was a really nice place to stay

Beautiful, secure property! Enjoyed the pool & easy beach access. Close to lots of good shopping & restaurants. The property manager, Denise, isn’t the most friendly so I hope you don’t have to have much dealings with her. Also, make note of limited hot water if you are bringing more than a couple of people.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful condo! It had everything we needed. I was just right for our family of 5. Elevators were quick and easy. A Highlight was the pool which looks like you are in a tropical resort with all the palm trees! Just gorgeous!

The atmosphere of this place was amazing. It was very clean and the water pressure deserves recognition it was like a personal spa

After a full first day on Tuesday, we (4 adults) came in to shower to find out that only 1 person was able to get even a warm shower. They quickly responded and found that a heating element was bad, it was replaced but still the rest of the week only 1 person was able to get a hot shower. The king bed in the master was horrible! I don't have back problems but have returned home with back problems. I spent 5 of 6 nights sleeping half of the night on the bed tossing and turning then moving to the couch. My husband also has returned home with back issues. My family has vacationed 1-2 times a year in Destin, FL. This is the worst unit we have ever stayed in. We have stayed multiple times as the Westwinds complex and have had wonderful accommodations.

Beautiful place and so love the area. We had a few hiccups but Denise the property manager was on it!!! Even delivered us a new Keurig.

It was minimally appointed, for example one dish towel, very cheap bathroom towels, no light bulb above cooktop and only a couple of the under cabinet lights worked. The electrical plug in guest bathroom worked some of the time. The fan light in the guest bedroom went on and off on its own for some reason. A few things that could enhance the property would be a mirror in the guest bedroom to dress by when your partner is using the one vanity bath, and garment hooks on the back of the bathroom doors to hang robes or towels. The property is in a great location and has nice views. With a few tweaks it would be great!

Picturesque views from our balcony. . We had a southwestern view and experienced gorgeous sunsets. Our group made use of the tram service over to Baytown Wharf . Spacious parking. Tropical swimming pool and hot tub area. The condo itself was clean. Our property manager was very helpful.

We booked this last minute trip for myself, mother & daughter who is about to head off to college. The entire experience was great! We normally stay in a house on the beach with our entire family which is around 15 people. Booking this last minute trip for just the three of us was the best decision! We flew in and used uber through out our trip and having the shuttle included made it even better! The location is perfect. I would of loved having a small cooler in the unit for us to use to take down to the beach. Maybe charge a fee if it disappears just like you would do if a tram card went missing?! We did make it work without one but would of been an extra bonus for our few waters and many cold beverages:) Other than that LOL great place.

The location is next door to the Westin in San Destin Resort and this is not beach front but a 10 min walk to the beach. The property has clearly been updated downstairs but was not cleaned before we arrived (an hour after check-in). The kitchen counters were unclean and sticky, there was hair on the couch and it had not been dusted in awhile. The master bedroom has a nice pond view but the tub/shower-head combo had no hot water even after running it for over 10 minutes. All four guests were subjected to taking turns using the other bedroom shower. This is a great location for sure, but this property fell a little short. I ended up checking out one day early, obviously losing money spent on a place we thought we’d enjoy but we all couldn’t share the shower one day longer. I suggest you hire a better cleaning crew and get the hot water heater and plumbing checked. This is my 3rd time staying in San Destin Resort and I’ve loved every property I’ve stayed in, but I was not happy with this townhome. I suggest the Westin or other condos on the property.

Ease at the beach !

We stayed for 7 days and loved the location. We have an infant, a two year old and a five year old and we were close enough to dining, shops and the grocery store to walk. The condo property had a nice pool that the kids enjoyed and the walk to the beach was quick and manageable. We will be back and appreciated the beautiful decor and easy check in process! Great experience for us.

We LOVED staying in this condo with our 3 young children. It was cozy and the perfect size for our family. Ocean views and proximity to beach and pool was so important to us and this provided all of that. The only drawback was that the new water heater was small and only provided about 1 hot shower a day. Tried to contact the 24 hour hotline about it but no one returned our calls. We ended up just taking very quick showers but it would be nice if they fixed this issue.

Great condo was very clean and had the necessary supplies. Westwinds is a great not crowded clean complex.

The condo was very nice, clean, & exactly as pictured. The beach view from the balcony was my favorite part of the stay!

Great stay! Condo and property were private and clean. Property is beach front (condo is beach view). We would be glad to stay again.
