What a great place to stay! I celebrated my 50th birthday here and enjoyed every minute. Not only because my family and friends were around me but because of the hospitality of this awesome home! It was exactly like listed and then some! From the time we walked in, it felt like home. The owner left me a little note on the counter welcoming me, my guests and even happy birthday wishes which was really thoughtful. Inside and out was just spectacular and we thank Mr & Mrs Hall for a wonderful experience at their home. We certainly will be back for another stay soon!

House wonderfully comfortable for our family of 6. All the amenities of home and comfy beds with a million dollar view. The outdoors was gorgeous with deer, lots of birds and even a skunk. My only regret was that we just had less than 48 hours!

My husband and I, along with our two kids, their spouses, and our three grand babies spent a great Memorial Day weekend here. The house and property were beautiful! The house was spacious, with plenty of room for everyone. It was stocked with the basics and even a few extra little things that came in handy. The yard was so nice! We built a fire each night, roasted marshmallows and fed and watched the deer. It was so peaceful and relaxing, just what we wanted. There was also plenty to do nearby, and we did venture out several times. Janette had sent a nice list of recommended restaurants and places to see. She was so sweet and accommodating. She really wanted to make sure we had a great time, and we did! My family and I would definitely stay here again!!

Our family had a great time at the lake house. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the kids enjoyed the back yard. There are a lot of deer in the area and it was nice to watch them come close to the house. Janette also has some good information about things to do in the area.

This lake house on Canyon Lake was everything we were looking for in a quiet weekend as a family. Our college aged children found the peace and quiet they were looking for over spring break and we were able to spend quality time together doing a whole lot of nothing! The house itself is well appointed with comfortable bedding and plenty of soft couches and chairs. The deck overlooking the lake and green fields with grazing deer was a perfect spot to eat breakfast or dinner. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals, and the grocery store just down the road was also convenient so we didn't have to bring everything with us. In the evenings we lit a fire in the fire pit and enjoyed the cool March weather. Overall we could not have been more happy with our stay.

We had a great family weekend at the lake. I really enjoyed the property. It had plenty of space for the kids to explore and was very peaceful in the evenings. The home was excellent. Fairly new construction, excellent furnishings. Janette was extremely hospitable providing everything for s’mores and some good details on the area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a slower paced getaway.

This house exceeded our expectations! From the moment we all walked in the door, we felt instantly comfortable. The rooms are great size, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked (plenty of plates, cups, cooking utensils, etc), and the house was incredibly CLEAN! We loved the back porch views! Our family enjoyed exploring in the backyard, feeding the deer, and roasting marshmallows around the bonfire pit in the evenings. We would absolutely stay at this home again, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to spend some quality family time!

Our family stayed at this house for a weekend and we absolutely loved it. Even though it rained most of the weekend, we still had a great time. The men fished in the rain and even caught a few fish. We ladies stayed at the house and fed the deer and played some of the games they had there while we enjoyed each others company. There was plenty of room for my husband and I and four of are grown kids and grandson. There was a great breeze on the upper deck with plenty of seating for everyone. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt like it was a pretty secluded area. One note to make is that if you have small children with you, bring a baby gate. The living room and kitchen are upstairs and their is no closure at the top of the stairs. There are a couple of large bean bag seat that were good for blocking if they can not climb yet. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful home.

We had an amazing time, the owners are very nice and the house itself was so clean and organized! The pictures don’t do it justice it’s very spacious we would definitely book this again. Roasting marshmallows and feeding the deer was definitely something to remember for us!!

Janette & John's house is clean, comfortable, and relaxing! I rented their home for a weekend getaway with my husband and two small children. The house had plenty of space and had all the amenities you need including a pack and play which helped lighten our packing! The views from the house are beautiful and it was nice to have my morning tea looking out over the lake. My 2 yr old's favorite part was the deer corn; he loved tossing out the corn and watching the deer come to snack! Janette and John were also incredibly attentive and responded to our inquiries about the house quickly. They were fantastic hosts and went above our expectations. I am definitely looking forward to renting their house again in the future!

We had a wonderful time at this VRBO, the house was spotless and the owners have taken great care to make the house comfortable. We loved feeding the deer, the lake was amazing and the house had everything we could possibly need! This home is definitely on our must return to list!! They went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed including suggestions of where to find things to do. Great Home!

The owners are so nice! They were able to accommodate our needs. The house has everything you need for a wonderful stay. There were so many deer, which made the view so much better! You could even feed them! This house is great for a family as well. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay at Canyon Lake.
