De host stond op ons te wachten bij het huis, aardige mevrouw. Huis was mooi, schoon en ruim genoeg!

Het zwembad was niet heel fris.....mag schoner... De afstand tot Agios Nikolaos viel toch wat tegen.

The home itself, the pool and the super view

The host, kindly left essentials for us including milk, bread, butter, ham and cheese and every type of condiment we would need. Plenty of towels and even toiletries should we need them. It really was home from home. Everywhere was spotless, a huge advantage was the washing machine. On our first day, the shower in one of the bathrooms had a fault, the host immediately sent a plumber with parts within 20 minutes, which was a feat given that we were in a secluded area. The views are fantastic and sitting on the deck morning and evening was priceless. Due to the location, it was so quiet and peaceful, exactly what we wanted, which means a car is essential though. Some fantastic restaurants within a short drive en route to elounda and in the town, not tourist ones. Would definitely love to stay in the villa again as it was lovely.

Very difficult to walk anywhere, we did try but took us over an hour into Agios in the evening, not a nice walk so we didn’t do it again, definitely couldn’t walk back, so jumped in a taxi which only took 10 minutes for €10. We did know it was far out and that was ok, but we didn’t factor how high up steep hills. Must stress this wasn’t a negative on the trip or location as driving is fine and it meant we explored further in the surrounding towns and nicer restaurants than in town.

Everything was perfekt and went as plan. The Villa exceeded our expectations. It was clean, fully equipped with everything we needed (washing machine, stove, dishwasher, a fire place for barbecue, and a fridge) Angelika has introduced us to the place and left us some delicious sweets, fruits, coffee, juice, food and bread for our breakfast). The pool was clean and was to be cleaned once every 2 days. The beds were comfortable, the toilets were clean. Angelika gave us recommendations about places the we are supposed to visit and was so friendly and wonderful. The Villa is located up in the mountain and not to far from the city. The view was breathtaking and the place was quite and peaceful. I strongly recommend Villa Dafni and would gladly repeat this experience again.

Nothing really 2nd shower was not so good fridge a little dated that's being picky loved it

The villa had a great location. The host were very friendly and obliging

The pool need to have steps installed to allow access and egress easier. The villa would benefit from a couple of sun loggers to relax.
