Nice simple room, clean ,with sink, table and chair, wardrobe, comfy beds, plenty of bedding, clean sheets, blankets, a shutter on window that can be opened wid. Clean shared bathroom, everything works.

Soundproofing was not so good, could easily hear people in the next room or in the communal corridor.

Location is the only value this place has.

Extremely poor service - no sense of customer service, had to call to wake up the receptionist upon arrival (23:30), not even eye contact made. Got told off for arriving “late” and charged an extra 15€!! Rooms are run down, bathroom are poor, no breakfast. Very poor value for money overall not to mention the customer experience.

The bed type was not available when I arrived only from the second night even though they had staff well after I arrived to convert the bed on the first day.

There is so much I didn't like that it's hard to know where to begin. There was no one at the reception when we arrived. We waited 15 minutes with others who wanted to check in until I called the number provided by Booking.com. After that, the clerk came down from upstairs and had us fill out some long forms--one side of the form to check in and the other to check out the next day. Among other things on the forms, we had to include our Booking.com reservation number (which I have never had to do in the past in hundreds of stays using Booking.com) as well as all the information that Booking.com presumably provided the guest house and that other hotels and guest houses never ask me for. When asked why we had to fill out a form to check out, he told us it was for our convenience so that we could leave whenever we wanted. Since that's what we do anyway, I was curious as to why we had to do it. It soon became clear that it was for the convenience of the clerk so he would have less paperwork to deal with. There were only two sets of guests in the place and he put us right next to each other even though reviews of the guest house had said that it was noisy and you were able to hear other guests closing doors and talking. We finally figured out that it was because we would share the same bathroom. No one was staying near the bathroom at the other end of the hall so it wouldn't have to be cleaned. And yes, we were able to hear the guests next door talking until midnight. The two of us were only provided with one towel. "Oh. You are two?," he asked when I requested another. (Doesn't it say that in our reservation and isn't that what we paid for?) When I asked the clerk for another towel (by phone, because he was nowhere to be found), he said he would bring it right up. Of course he didn't. I had to ask him again several hours later, after which I finally got the towel.
