Adorable & comfortable cottage. 1 bedroom full size & loft with twin beds. 1Bathroom with walk in shower. Well appointed with nice features. Light and airy.

We loved our time at Hummingbird Cottage over the Thanksgiving weekend. While we spent most of our waking hours with our relatives, the cottage was such a lovely place to come back to at the end of the day. We enjoyed watching a little tv before bed in the comfortable living room (we didn’t miss cable tv as we had access to several streaming services). We particularly enjoyed the various options for making coffee and tea in the morning. - we have stayed in many Airbnb and VRBO properties and have never seen so many choices —the cottage had Keurig and Nespresso machines, an electric kettle and a pour-over coffee maker. No need to go out, but other options are a quick ride away. We did not have a chance to cook, but the compact kitchen was well-equipped. The cottage is beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture and curated folk art. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again soon!

Had a very nice time at the cottage. Its location was just perfect for us. We needed to go a few towns north of Duxbury for a weekend event, but it also allowed us to head to the cape for the afternoons. Enjoyed the private back porch and the BBQ grill

This home is exactly as it states and the goodies they have is as a welcome gift was a special touch. They are easy and wonderful owners

This property was everything as advertised- and previous reviews. Adorable cottage beautifully decorated & spotlessly clean with very comfortable bed. Nice big yard with lots of privacy. And best of all - the hosts were lovely - always pleasant & available whenever I needed anything. I am already looking forward to my return to this A+ property! Thank you Ashley & John. Joan Carroll

This cottage is very close to my daughter. Stayed here with my other daughter and her spouse. Very clean, loved the “gifts”, Had everything we needed and more.

The cottage was exceptional! It was clean, comfortable and a great location. The owner was accessible if needed, which was not needed because everything was in place and available. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. We slept quite well as the rooms were comfortable and quiet. We will certainly plan our next trip to include this cottage again.! Highly recommended! This property is a gem and perfect for a small family or couple. It’s close to everything Duxbury has to offer and it’s light casual beach vibe decor makes it a relaxing stay. Gracious hosts and all the appliances you need.

The Hummingbird Cottage was a very pretty, comfortable, and cozy spot to spend a week. All the conveniences and comforts of home, plus a nice patio, pretty grounds, and a ping pong table for fun! Our hosts were very pleasant and helpful, accommodating and easy-going. We would be happy to stay there again!

What a beautiful cozy cottage to spend my Christmas holiday season with my boys. Our hosts were amazing and even sent carolers to us, which was the highlight of our trip. Tastefully decorated in a beach shabby chic, this cottage was a lovely place to hang out. Fully equipped with everything you need. I look forward to my return

We were looking for a charming, uplifting getaway place where we could relax, be safely socially distant, and leave uplifted and refreshed. Hummingbird -- with its charming decor, excellent amenities and garden-setting -- fit the bill perfectly. Ashley and Jon were lovely and thoughtful hosts. We left humming!

Quiet street located near Duxbury and Plymouth town centers, beautiful ground with private yard and patio, attentive and caring landlord when asked, but never intrusive. Lovely interior with lots of light and air, good heat for the cold mornings, comfortable beds and easy chairs/sofa, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, and other appliances. Our favorite rental in the area for my sister and me.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hummingbird. It was cozy, but just what we needed. Especially in light of pandemic I was concerned about cleaning, but it was immaculate upon arrival. The situation of property while near, is very private from main house. We loved using the outdoor spaces- kids got a kick out of shower and swing. Lastly, I can’t say enough about Ashley as a host. She was accommodating and super responsive. She had great recs on local food, activities etc. and got back to my messages in lightening speed.

You won't be disappointed. This cottage is beautifully decorated. It has everything needed for your stay. The owner took the time to put together a brochure of information of the local restaurants, entertainment and distance to some points of interest. I highly recommend this cottage and look forward to staying again.

Perfect little cottage! Immaculately kept and furnished. It could not have been cleaner (which is my top priority). Even if it is small, we had all we needed. Every small detail is carefully arranged, clearly they have a thing for interior decor! From the cottage you can drive to lots of cool places and beaches and the recommendations they gave us were amazing (mostly French bakery and Snug harbor for fish). Beautiful garden with nice outdoor table, bbq, flowers and outdoor shower! Ashley was super responsive and even if they live on the premises it felt very private. I really hope to go back!

Hummingbird is a fantastic cottage to enjoy the beautiful peace and quiet Duxbury has to offer. It is the perfect jumping off point for all sorts of adventures. Ashley is a consummate hostess. We stayed in a Hummingbird while we moved to town, and it was the perfect sanctuary. We cannot wait to have friends and family stay in Hummingbird when they visit!

We were in town for a family event and found the hummingbird cottage welcoming and comfortable. Plus the added extras were nice too. While we normally stay with family when in town, we would stay here again if we ever find ourselves in need of our own space. Thank you.

My daughter and I throughly enjoyed our stay at Hummingbird Cottage. It is beautifully decorated and immaculate. We were greeted with a bottle of The Cottage wine in the fridge and some delicious breakfast pastries. We did not cook there, but every thing is there to help with a simple meal. Plus, coffee pods etc. for the morning. It was extremely convenient for us, our family lives less than a mile away. But, it is not far from Duxbury beach and some great restaurants. The only drawback is parking, and that is only of concern if you have more than one car.
