Rhonda and Jean Marc were wonderful hosts and a wealth of information about Tamarindo. The property is a little private oasis just steps from the beach. First time in Tamarindo and we’ll return. Great casual restaurants and fun bars on and off the beach. Don’t miss the night market on Thursdays. Luca touched base with us daily to make sure all was well, and the staff were a joy! Five stars from us!

Everything was top notch & awesome!

We love everything about this property! Fantastic location close to restaurants, shops and most importantly the beach! We were warmly greeted by Lucas and our wonderful host Jean Marc and and had daily access to them to ask questions about the area. Our Villa was perfectly outfitted with everything we needed. It was cool, quiet, clean and comfortable. The pool and grounds were a little oasis and we will most definitely be back. This one is a 10/10.

Jean marc was an excellent host he did everything to make us feel welcome! We loved his place, the first morning we were there we woke up to a really cool monkey show way up high in the trees! Super clean, wonderful management and staff! Excellent food (pig roast) right at the corner! Red snapper on the beach also excellent! Horseback riding on the beach! Loved it all!!

Serene setting despite being so close to the all the action of town and the beach! Layout of unit perfect for our family of four - kitchen well equipped and great grill. Daily housekeeping was a real treat and very thorough. Rhonda and Jean Marc were always great resources and available. We highly recommend this lovely vacation retreat!

Great experience all the way around. The staff is super friendly & the property is beautiful. Location is great and we felt very safe staying there with our kids. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Tamarindo.

The owners were easy to work with and flexible in helping us with our arrangements. The staff was exceptionally friendly and everyone was professional. Accommodations were just as expected. The walk to the beach was short and though we were close to town it truly felt like we were secluded in a private retreat. Would definitely be happy to return for another visit.

Beautiful place to vacation, very close to the beach and in the center of Tamarindo, and yet quiet and peaceful, the pool is the best after a day at sea ... Luca and his staff were very attentive and collaborative to our needs, the villa is very comfortable, I definitely recommend it

Beautiful grounds

My friends and I stayed at the Coco Bolo for a girls trip and had a wonderful time. The property is clean and we felt safe. The location was amazing and walking distance from all our favorite spots in Tamarindo. Highly recommend!

We all loved the little house we stayed in. It fit four of us perfectly. Super easy walk to the beach and most of the popular bars downtown. Would stay here again for sure.

Location is everything in Tamarindo and this one can’t be beat! One short block away from the beach, shops, restaurants, and basically all that the town has to offer yet with secluded privacy. Jean Marc, Rhonda, and their staff made our stay incredible from start to finish. We saw howler monkeys, iguanas, an owl, and various other birds right on the property. Jean Marc and Luca connected us with surf lessons, board rentals, and restaurant suggestions such as Dragonfly (must go)! It was a trip we will never forget as a family… thanks and Pura Vida!

I don't often write reviews, but couldn't let this opportunity pass. This was the most amazing vacation experience we have ever had. The place is even more beautiful in-person than the pictures. We went with our family (two tween/teen boys) and it was the perfect set up for us. This place is literally steps away from all of the restaurants/shops and also the beach. One lovely surprise was a food truck court just steps away. We dined there daily. After spending time in town or on the hot beach we loved coming through the gates of "the breeze" to our tropical oasis with shade and a pool. All of that said, our favorite part of "the breeze" were the people (the owner, the property manager and the maintenance/cleaning staff). My husband and I both shed a few tears saying goodbye. I have been to Tamarindo three times, and I plan on returning. I will never stay anywhere else than here.

Thanks so much for a terrific week at the beach. Great, convenient, and safe location right by the beach! Lucas and the team are all so nice and keep the place sparkling clean. We loved everything about it. :)

Wonderful time, great place, superior service!

My family and I stayed here from 3-6-2021 to 3-13-2021. Luca was waiting for our car to pull up and welcomed us. He showed us around the property and introduced us to Martha. We had the entire property to ourselves for the week. I cannot say enough positive things about our stay. The grounds were beautiful and full of wild life. We had Howler monkeys in the tree right outside of our door. At one point we were completely surrounded by monkeys swinging in the trees above us. We also saw parrots, hummingbirds, iguanas, squirrels and racoons. Just watching the wildlife was worth the cost for the week. Luca gave us great advise on restaurants to dine at and tours we could take. Martha was amazing and kept the entire place tidy 100% of the time. She even did our dishes! The pool was perfect and we used it daily for relaxation and some fun. We would love to go back and I can't imagine booking anywhere else. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We were greeted as soon as we arrived and provided with all of the information we needed. The property and condo are beautiful, just like the pictures, but better :) The Staff is very friendly and someone is always around if you need something, with security at night. Highly recommend and would return. The owners are also very nice and attentive.

My boyfriend and I stayed here with my sister and her husband and loved everything about this place! This was our third time visiting Tamarindo and were happy we found this spot. We have stayed at a few different hotels and rented in the past two years. We love this town so we've made it a point to stay a few different spots every time we visit in search of our perfect place to return. This is a great location close to the beach but feeling the quiet seclusion away from the hustle and bustle of the town. This location gives you a quick walk to the shops, great restaurants, and the beach. The walk to the beach also allows you to be on the quiet end of the beach and provides a more shaded short cut into town. The pool was a great break to cool off durning the peak sun hours in the afternoon. We enjoyed having a fully equipped kitchen to cook breakfast in. The staff kept the grounds and rooms clean. We also were able to see howler monkeys, huge iguanas, and beautiful costa rican birds right from our patio. There are a few other villas with the same set up. So if you're traveling with a larger group renting out a few of them, I would highly recommend. We had the pleasure of speaking with the owner in person and hearing of his recommendations of the town and even outside of town. If you have the chance check out Lolas (short drive to Playa Avellana.) If you are looking at visiting Tamarindo this place is the place to stay. It was a pleasure meeting you Jean Mark! Great to have a home base that was clean, friendly, and offered great amenities like the amazing pool and outdoor kitchen! Proximity to town and the beach were definitely enjoyed!

The Breeze is an amazing place to stay. The grounds are spotless, the staff are super friendly and the space is so relaxing. A wonderful place for families too. I highly recommend staying here!

Owners, Property manager, and care taker went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. Super safe location, across the main road to the beach. The property has a really cool vibe... we were the only ones there in July and had it all to ourselves (family of four). I'd definately stay there again!

Our family (including 5 and 3 year olds) had a fantastic stay. The grounds we well manicured, our rooms were cleaned daily and the staff was very responsive. Do recommend, and would stay again.

Tamarindo and the Breeze villa exceeded our expectations in every way. Costa Ricans are incredibly friendly and dining options in village were excellent. The Breeze staff, Luca and Anabelle, were fantastic hosts. Place was tranquil, clean and beautiful. We'll be back thanks!
