Great location close to restaurants, shops and hiking trails. Lorella was very helpful and made sure we knew about weather conditions. Paolo in the pioggia was very helpful with parking and transfers. Would definitely stay again.

We only had 4 days in Manarola and wanted a place where we could see the water and feel like a local. This place did not disappoint! The apartment is cozy and clean with amazing terrace views of the town and the sea. Sunsets were fabulous. Be aware that the climb to the apartment is quite steep and may not be suitable for all persons. We found it very well worth the effort! Lorella, the property owner was wonderful and gave us great info on Manarola as well as the rest of the Cinque Terre. She also suggested a baggage service to get our luggage from the train station to the apartment. We HIGHLY recommend doing this as carrying or rolling bags the entire way would have been almost impossible! We hope to return soon to this little gem by the sea.

The property is just as advertised. The terrace has a great view of Manarola and the sea. The kitchen, while small, is fully functional and adequately equipped. Most of the windows and features are quite new and keep it very quiet. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, though there are lots of stairs. That is to be expected though. They do offer a service to help with baggage, if desired. I would recommend this property.

La Terrazza 85 is absolutely amazing! Lorella is an amazing host and explained everything in detail upon arrival, helped to book a dinner reservation for us, and helped to coordinate luggage service - you can tell she really wants her guests to have a good time. The location is incredible - it is one of the highest points in the village with incredible views of the village and sea. The accommodations are very nice and cozy - the large patio was my favorite part. The apartment is up a very steep and narrow combination of stairs/walkways and I would strongly suggest smaller luggage and/or use of the luggage service - even if you are young/fit. :-)

Such a magnificent spot, with a perfectly placed terrace that overlooks the multi-colored town and rich blue Mediterranean Sea in one direction, and the church piazza and vineyards in the other. The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. Morning coffee on the terrace with sounds of a waking town below are priceless (and make it difficult to pull yourself away). The location may not be ideal for all — it’s many narrow stairways up from the already steep “hike” up from the train station. But for anyone who is willing and able, it is so very worth it. The apartment is cozy and crisp. The doors to the terrace from the bedroom and living space create a dreamy space when they’re opened wide. The kitchenette is perfect for breakfasts. There are several small groceries in town for collecting goodies. Lorella is lovely and very available leading up to your arrival and during your stay. We loved every minute of our time there!

If you don't mind walking lots of stairs, this place is a gem! Very comfortable bed and shower, a huge balcony with amazing views towards the water and vineyards, private shaded outdoor space in the back. Our host Lorella couldn't be nicer. She spend a considerable amount of time with us, providing the best suggestions for restaurants and even made our dinner reservations before arrival. And Manarola is the best of the 5!

Words cannot describe how beautiful the view is from this hilltop retreat!! Set high above Manarola, the view is otherworldly. The apartment is well cared for, air conditioned, clean and comfortable. The terrace with infinite views of the sea is worth the climb to stay at this private and tranquil getaway. Lorella is a remarkable hostess, always speedy with replying to my questions before our arrival. She booked fantastic restaurants stir us, and arranged for Paolo, the town porter, to meet us at the train to take our luggage to the top for an additional fee…money we’ll spent, as our bags were heavy and it would have been impossible to get them up on our own. Our only regret was not staying longer, we truly enjoyed our visit to Cinque Terre and recommend La Terrazza wholeheartedly.

Lorella was wonderful! The view was spectacular! The property was very nice, very comfortable, and very clean! From providing Paolo to get our luggage up and down the hill (essential), to giving us excellent, detailed information about the town, restaurants, and groceries, Lorella is an amazing host! Lorella’s place is the most special VRBO you will ever stay in. A family home dating back centuries, the home is in the highest part of the village overlooking the village and with wonderful views of the sea. The home also looks over to the other side of the village with vineyards all along the hillside. Not only is there a beautiful large sized deck with these views, there is a garden in the back with beautiful plants and an outdoor kitchen. Lorella was the best hostess, meeting us at the apartment to give us a tour of the apartment and to tell us of good local restaurants and businesses. I cannot say enough good things about this apartment and Lorella. The only thing to be sure of is that you do not mind climbing stairs. They are the price you must pay to reach this much beauty!🙂

La Terrazza is exactly as described. Amazing view of the Ligurian sea as well as surrounding hills. Lorella was there to greet us making check in very easy and answering any questions we had. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Hiking trails start from just up the block. House was clean and spacious. Yard was nice to have when we wanted a change of scenery from the deck. I would stay here again if I went back.

This is a wonderful property! Lorella met us at check-in to show us the unit and provided many tips for enjoying the area. Prior to arriving, she made restaurant reservations for us. Be sure to take advantage of the luggage service. You won’t regret it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This property is amazing! Lorella is a wonderful host who provides lots of helpful suggestions on what to do and where to eat during check in. We felt that Manarola was the perfect location to stay in the Cinque Terre area. We were able to hike to the neighboring towns for lunch or breakfast. We highly recommend this property. The gardens and location and view will add to your experience. We were sad to leave!! You will not be disappointed- better than you can imagine!

This property is positioned in the upper part of the village. Views of the town, the Sea and the terraces hillside. You cannot beat this view, it is outstanding and the size of the large terrace is a huge bonus!!! Plenty of space in the bedroom as well as the living area! Lorella was an amazing host, very helpful with recommendations and info on the town. I would recommend this place to everyone!!!

This house was absolutely amazing!! The best location in the best of the Cinque Terre! The views of the mountains and the sea are breathtaking. And the house is so charming! It includes a garden area in the back that offers even more space for relaxing and enjoying the views. Our host, Lorella, was the best. She responds quickly to any questions you have and makes suggestions on things to do and places to eat. She meets you at the entrance and gives you a tour of the property as well. Some of her suggestions on hikes and activities were my favorite parts of the trip! Don't hesitate to book this property. You won't be disappointed!

I would give this unit a 10 star if I could. It was excellent in every way the owner met us at check-in, explained everything about the apartment, and even gave us suggestions for dinner. Oh, and she met us with a bottle of wine. She paid attention to every detail!

The level of tranquility we felt relaxing at La Terrazza was magical. Watching the quiet town of Manarola come to life each morning from a birds-eye view was simply therapeutic. With sweeping views of the Ligurian Sea from our terrace, each sunset had its own personality. We were one couple that stayed a week. La Terrazza was the ideal place to land after our days of exploring; clean, well equipped, accommodating with a simple indoor-outdoor plan we absolutely loved. Experiencing other towns of Cinque Terre unveiled each ones unique character, with wonderful views from the ferry. Lorella is a pure delight! Every question answered quickly and efficiently. She made arrangements for our bags to be transported from the train up the hill to La Terrazza. And assisted with our 35-year anniversary dinner reservations in advance. The housekeeper made up the bed in the living room for a friend who visited overnight. The whole stay we felt on top of the world. In a way we were! We highly recommend La Terrazza and hope you too will enjoy this little slice of paradise!

This property is at the top of the village so it has great views! The hostess was so kind and helpful and we had a wonderful time.

Lorella was very helpful in making us feel at home. Very quiet, spacious, and spectacular views! She also made reservations for us at a very "in-demand" restaurant. Trattoria Dal Billy is right downstairs and is an exceptional restaurant!

The property was absolutely beautiful, the views were breathtaking, and location was perfect. So serene and tranquil, loved listening to the Church bells and the sunsets were spectacular. The hostess was so gracious, informative and kind. It was a pleasure meeting her and staying in this most beautiful, charming, amazing apartment.

We loved our stay at Terrazza85. Lorella Made sure we had all the information needed before arrival and was there to meet us. The apartment is simple but perfect - it had everything we needed and the most gorgeous large private Terrazza with loungers, table and chairs and a sofa area overlooking the village, terraced mountainsides and the sea. We’d go back in a heartbeat!

We had a great stay in Manarola. The views from the balcony were stunning. Lorella and Rita were great hosts. They recommended we use the local baggage service to help with our luggage, which was needed as the apartment is at the upper part of town and up three sets of stairs. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a little small. Closet space is limited. The location was away from the noise and bustle of the marina and train station, but we were able to see the entire town from our balcony. We recommend this apartment!

One of my best VRBO experiences. This place was beautiful. It is kind of a hike to get to it. But then again all of MAnatolia is. The deck was absolutely amazing. Breathtaking views of the sea and the town. The bed was wonderfully comfortable in the kitchen had all that you needed.

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at this unit. The unit had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, nice linens, blow dryer, light blocking shades, excellent water pressure, stocked kitchen and laundry. The view and patio was unreal. We spent every evening out there enjoying the View of Manarola. Lorella was very easy to communicate with and has tons of great recommendations for delicious places to eat. 5 stars for sure!

Cozy, adorable, bed great. Very good response from owner. Best view ever! Make sure you get the helper to take up your luggage and have good walking/hiking shoes.

This was without a doubt the favorite stop on our trip! From booking until we left , everything was more than expectations. The view is AMAZING ! We will definitely return.

Though in the middle of Manarola with stunning sunsets and wide open views of the sea we were just steps away (and there are many in Manarola) from cafes and shops. Lorella’s offers a lovely outdoor full kitchen for dining under the pergola. No one shares this. Also, no one is above you or shares the large terrace. Very quite, safe, private and totally comfortable! We would love to stay there again! Luggage transport is a must and Rita, who will quickly get you settled, speaks good English. A totally delightful experience!

Just one tip for future travelers staying here (which would apply to pretty much any place in Cinque Terre) - there are lots of stairs and the hills are steep, so pack lightly and bring small luggage that is easily carried.

A very nice apartment, city and stay at La terrazza 85. Fantastic view from the terrace. Big terrace with different kind of chairs, sofa and tables. The outdoor summer garden could have been cleaned a little better, everything else was almost perfect. Expensive, but absolutely worth it!

This apartment was very cute and clean. Amazing balcony with views of all of manarola. Kitchen full equipped to cook most meals. We visited in July during a heat wave and with no air conditioning it made the apartment very difficult to sleep. Beware if coming during hot months. Received a nice welcome gift of limoncello. Overall great experience.

The views!!!!!! This apartment and the views were AMAZING! I could have stayed there for two weeks. Communication was a breeze. The owner promptly refunded the refundable portion of my stay. I highly recommend the luggage transport. Best $20 I spent all vacation. According to my wife’s Apple Watch, it’s 15 flights of stairs to the villa. It’s one of the highest ones but the views are worth it! The villa was incredible but the balcony can’t be beat. We had several meals on our balcony. Even when it was raining thanks to the retractable awning. Simply incredible!
