This location is perfect for access to trails to ride in the winter. The house is just amazing and very peaceful.

What can I say about our stay at the Mountain Haven, it was nothing short of perfect. From the initial communication pre booking to our final hours at the home, the owners were available to answer any questions that we had. The home is beautiful and our family really enjoyed the layout to spread out.
For the important things (in our opinion): Beds were very comfortable, the house was super clean, water pressure/temp in the shower was perfect, the pellet stoves kept us toasty and the kitchen was well stocked with anything one would need for a home cooked meal. The trail system is right out the driveway though the area is pretty quiet. If you want to be close to all the major places in Pittsburg but enjoy some solitude, this one is for you!
We were blessed with daily snow and lost power one day for a few hours. Within minutes, the stand by generator was up and running and our stay wasn't impacted one bit. The driveway was plenty large enough for our 24 foot trailer, we parked it and it was never in the way. The plow guy was super nice and on top of removing the snow we were pummeled with. This is our 3rd year in Pittsburg and this cabin is by far the best one we have stayed in. If you are thinking of staying here, book it, you will not be let down. We are already counting down the days till our next stay at Mountain Haven! Thank you Leigh and Judy for a wonderful stay and for answering all of my questions!

We stayed at Mountain Haven with family and friend during our kids winter break and really enjoyed the stay. Plenty of room for two families with close access to snowmobile trails from the property. We all had a great time and will plan on visiting again.

Great location on the trail and a very nice log home. Was expecting 2 full baths but only one shower was available for a group of four. The dishwasher was found to be dirty and there was no detergent for our use. As a whole though it really suited our needs for our stay and the owner was very responsive.

We had an amazing time and would give 10 stars if i could. This was by far one of the best cabins we have stayed at. Spotless and absolutely beautiful inside and out.

This home is immaculate, huge, and absolutely all of the comforts of home. Beautiful home with so many amenities and a beautiful combination of rustic feel and up to date technology! Directly on the trails which is a major plus for anyone with an ATV, OHRV, or snowmobile. The owners truly care about this place and that truly shines through. Incredibly roomy with so many creature comforts of a home away from home. So many little fun personal touches that truly make this place special. Judy and Leigh are attentive hosts but definitely are respectful of privacy and are helpful without being overbearing. The security features of the home put one completely at ease. Great balance of feeling remote in the woods and close to the main routes. We will definitely be back!

The owner was super attentive and a sweetheart gave advice for restaurants, etc so nice 🥰🥰🥰. Didn’t like the lack of 4 true bedrooms, or lack of 3 baths, 1 shower and 1 tub does not work. So for the fee per night we paid that was a disappointment but King beds were the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on and bedding was soft and so cozy!!! So it is a wonderful rental for ATV , snowmobile, fire pit area was nice and private and the closeness to restaurants and on trails was PERFECTION❤️

This log cabin is a gem!
From the very beginning of our Stay Leigh was attentive and helpful with suggestions for local hiking and sites! The log cabin was immaculate, felt like home, beautiful and perfect for a relaxing and serene stay. We loved this gem of a log cabin and can't wait to return!

Beautiful house and great for renting ATVs at bear rock adventure
Gorgeous house and beautiful property. Wouldn’t mind be stuck inside for a few days lol. Very convenient if your renting from bear rock adventure (only about a 10 min trail ride). Loved it would absolutely stay again.

Impeccable Property and Owner
I have been staying in the Haven Properties (Mountain, Lake & Aruba Haven) for going on 5 years now. I have travelled to many places throughout the world and these owners and their properties are top notch. The properties are extremely thoughtfully designed and built and the owners are excellent communicators, offering unlimited information to help make you aware of what the property and area have to offer. You could not ask for better!

We had a blast spending a long weekend at the house. Me and 6 family members had a blast snowmobiling right from the house. Trails were easy to get to and the host were great with communication all the way through. Will be staying again

Perfect cabin to unwind
I cannot stress enough how amazing Leigh and Judy’s cabin is! I was looking for a quiet, off the grid, larger space, log cabin but with modern Amenities to bring my fiancé to for her birthday. The cabin did not disappoint! It has all the creature comfort’s of being at home with the rustic peaceful getaway feeling of a mountain log cabin. The local area has some delicious local restaurants, I strongly recommend the Buck Rub Pub for their pizza or The Spa for their poutine! While out and about there are plenty of forest roads and class 6 roads to get lost on in that ever exciting search to see wildlife, and mother nature’s hidden treasures (check out Garfield Falls if you’re looking for waterfalls). I cannot stress enough how great of hosts Leigh and Judy were. They were quick to answer and had plenty of local suggestions as well. We will definitely be back!

The home is spacious and very comfortable. It was nice to see staples in the kitchen. We had a very short stay so we weren’t able to utilize all the amenities. My only suggestion is if you plan to eat out at all, make reservations well

Owner told me it was the best cabin in the area and he was right.
Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet time we spent at the cabin. I will return to the cabin in the future for sure. My first time in the area but it will not be my last.

great time in the great north
We had never been to the area and hoped to get in some kayaking, fishing and hiking. All three were readily available and it was so nice to be able to try different lakes and find our favorites. The people in the area were very nice and the local food was awesome.

Our short weekend away with our three young daughters was absolutely perfect. We can't thank Leigh and Judy enough for sharing their home with us. The cabin was stunning, clean and more than enough space for my family of 5! We will be back!
