Our family travelled from Florida and Kentucky and this location was perfect. The game room on property was a bonus. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the pool, pontoon rental, put put golf at Rambling Bald. The drive for a day of hiking at Chimney Rock State Park was short and scenic.

I can't say enough positive things about this getaway experience! The property was awesome and just as advertised. We had one of the best family Christmases ever!

It was excellent beautiful views of the lake, plenty of room to spread out. Road to house is steep and sharp curves, but it’s the mountains so we expected it. Will stay again soon.

We had a great stay and will be back with the family. Place was clean and the amenities are great. The kids had a great time and Lake Lure is a beautiful community.

Majestic Mountain Getaway
The home offers plenty of amenities and is well stocked and maintained. The location is close to the resort amenities and the driveway is perfectly flat for easy unloading.
The only thing I would recommend is having one or two more TV’s. A downstairs wall mounted tv in the basement game room would be a good location and perhaps the master-bedroom.

My only complaints are that when I walked in the front door first arriving, the cleaning crew left 3 full bags of trash on the floor at the door. Second, the stairs are very slippery. Some grip tape is recommended for future tenants. Third, the giant drainage hole pulling into the awkward angled driveway is a huge unmarked crater that will surely and almost did cause damage to my vehicle. A grate, warning sign or cone is highly recommended. Maybe mention that is is best to pull past the driveway and back in. All else, wonderful, roomy and pleasant place to stay with a very inviting feel. Thank you

It was a spacious and clean property. The mild/mildew was very high in the first level of the home . That floor was unusable for us!! The WiFi was non-existent most days. There were minimal consumables. I.e paper towel, toilet paper, soap. They had lots of hand sanitizer.

Beautiful location
The property had all the space we needed for the four members of our family. The basement smells badly of mildew and some of the lights did not work. Other than that, it was the perfect place to spend our vacation.

Great retreat
This cabin is a great place to say in Lake Lure. The only issue we had was the doors didn’t latch on the bedrooms besides the master.

It was a very clean and nice property, well placed near a lot of activities, and was very fairly priced. Highly recommend!
