A beautiful place to stay. The owner is swift and communicates fast when needed. Bill, the caretaker, was tremendous and really made it feel welcoming. I will be back (during the summer.)

We enjoyed our stay and hope to return. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was stocked for cooking, we loved the hot tub and even got to see a bear on the property from a safe distance. We’ll be back.

We'll certainly want to come back. The road by the home was pretty quiet, especially in the evening. We enjoyed sitting on the deck by Boulder creek the most. The train nearby was barely noticeable in the quiet house. It was a very easy 45 minutes to the campus in Boulder.

We really enjoyed our time at this beautiful home! We loved watching the snow while in the hot tub! Would love to return when it isn’t snowing and have a chance to check out some of the trails and other things to do. Thank you for a much needed break away from it all!

We will so be back to this place! The hot tub was amazing and the sauna… I cannot say enough good things about the sauna on those cool evenings… We loved being able to be active during the day, grab a meal or some groceries in town, and then come back to this snowy retreat for some R&R, spa time, book reading, and card playing. Speaking of R&R, the railroad adjacent to the property was fun. Not everyone will like it if you are a very light sleeper or are looking for absolute quiet. We enjoyed seeing and hearing the trains go by and were completely unbothered by them. The beds are very firm, if that is what you prefer. We were warm and cozy with the fireplace in the main bedroom that will put out a lot of heat. The proximity of the home to Nederland was wonderful. We shopped for groceries there and enjoyed some Busey Brews BBQ (one of my favorites when driving through the area). The property manager, Bill, was very friendly. His pups greeted us, which made us feel better after having sadly left ours at home. And, he generously let us check out a little late when there was not another guest the next day. As I said, we will be back to this cozy retreat!

Great Vacation!
We loved the home! We were there with our daughters, son-in-law and two grandchildren and we all had a wonderful time.
The home was very clean, spacious and located in a very interesting area. One side of the property was the South Boulder Creek and the other side was the main rail line for the California Zephyr train as well as freight trains. This was of special interest to our family.
Bill, the groundskeeper was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this property to anyone!

This was such a perfect getaway. We had a surprise snowstorm at the end of May during our stay and Bill, the caretaker, was so helpful! He had a snowblower, and helped us get over the bridge and up to the street. Thank you Bill!! The place was clean and and very cozy. The private hottub and the little electric sauna were so perfect in the snowy atmosphere and the sound of the creek rushing by was so peaceful. We weren’t able to do much around the property in terms of hiking, but there are books, games, blue rays and all the cooking supplies you could need. You are super close to Nederland and only an hours drive to Denver. Such a lovely stay!

Lots to do within a short drive and lots to do just staying at the cabin. We were able to celebrate my father’s birthday and had a blast!

Amazing family vacation!
We had a wonderful family vacation… the property is nestled in the mountains, which was the perfect getaway for us. Close to downhill and xc skiing (15 min away), hiking, as the drive through Nederland to Boulder is spectacular. Our favorite was the hot tub, get way too relax after a day of outdoor activity. Loved reading on the deck in the morning sun, an absolute treat.

Tucked in the woods
This was our second trip back to the Diamond T. We came in 2017 and liked it so much we traveled back and decided to ski at Eldora this time. The place is so cozy and has everything we needed.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat
This cabin was beautiful! The caretaker Bill was very helpful and very nice. The beds were all comfortable. If you are worried about the train tracks being close, don't. Only 2-3 trains come by per day and they don't blow horns so it's not disturbing. I would highly recommend a 4WD vehicle if you come when it might snow. They do have the drive bladed but it is still very difficult to get up the hills. This place was exactly what we were hoping to find in Colorado.

LOVED THIS PLACE!
We LOVED our stay in this property! I actually don't think the pictures online show as great as it really is! The downstairs living room is super cozy, and right next to the kitchen and door to the outdoor hot tub. Also, the downstairs bedroom/bathroom/laundry is conveniently located to whoever is making breakfast ;). Then the upstairs is REALLY wide open and spacious - and the giant tub is amazing. The beds are really really comfortable. There's not a bad thing to say about this place! Close to Nederland and Eldora, and reasonably close to Boulder and Denver.
We kind of got snowed in so our day trips were canceled, and what a great place to be if that happens - hot tub, sauna, board games, fireplace, snow coming down to watch out the window looking toward the creek! Bill, the caretaker, was also great and helped us with any questions we had. I will most definitely be coming back! :)

This property provided the perfect "long weekend" getaway. It was close to plenty of things to do but the property itself provided plenty to do OR NOT TO DO!!

We enjoyed this cabin so much! My husband and I came to Colorado from Indiana for our honeymoon and stayed a week. It was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. The creek was going pretty strong due to snow melting so it gave a nice white noise in the background. We were able to enjoy 7 hikes while we were there, saw a lot of wildlife and took the Peak to Peak bypass to the Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin itself was easy to check in and out. It was clean and had all we could ask for. As my husband said, it was one of the first rentals we stayed at that we could see living in. It was just nicely laid out and seemed very homey. The hot tub was great too! Our 2 pups came with us and enjoyed running up and down the stairs and sitting out on the deck with us. Overall, If you're looking for a great place to getaway, look no further. This place is perfect.

Communication with Gavin was excellent! He was very accommodating as we kept having changes with our trip. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed for a lovely stay.

We love the 3 nights we spent up at this cabin. It was more room than just the 2 of us needed but it was still so cozy. We were there when there was lots of snow on the ground but the grounds were still so beautiful and we can't wait to come back and enjoy the Creek in warmer weather. Loved the caretakers dog Maxwell and Bill was helpful and kept us shoveled.
