Beautiful property and very well kept by maintenance. Condo was recently updated nicely. The view from the patio was amazing and to hear the crashing waves was so relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

The property and condo were amazing. Having our wedding there was fantastic. The property managers and staff were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to stay a little away from 7 mile beach, but still close to great restaurants and easy access to excursions. The snorkeling outside the lagoon has a nice variety of tropical fish. Can't say enough positive about this place. T

The property was just as advertised, clean, quiet and an absolutely beautiful beachfront location. The owner provided great suggestions for local activities and restaurants and all were on point .

We can’t say enough good things about this condo. From the decor to the comfortable beds and amenities, this condo has it all. We were able to truly relax.

We enjoyed the property , but would have appreciated if they had checked to make sure that everything was in working order. Ceiling fan battery in remote had no batteries, tv in master bedroom had no HDMI cord so it did not work.

This property was exactly as pictured- great view, very clean and had all the necessary amenities. We would have given it 5+ stars other than a few glitches. Had a hard time locating the unit itself- called the property manager for help, but got voicemail. We were given a P.O Box as the address, and had to ask a women in another unit is she knew the owner. Thankfully, she did. When we walked into the unit, a man was inside; he was the assistant manager and was trying to trouble shoot the internet, which was out. Lastly, the unit’s description listed a landline (the info book on the premise also did). When we could not find it, we called the owner and he said it was taken out because, “no one used it”. Without working internet, and no local phone, we had to incur charges to book excursions by dialing internationally from our cell phones. We arrived on Saturday, and as promised, the internet was restored on Monday. The location is close to many wonderful places…Rum Point, The Crystal Caves, Starfish Point and Queen Elizabeth Botanic Gardens. The unit is beautiful, the pool was lovely, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we were very comfortable. We would most definitely recommend this property!

Great property, great location on the ocean. Perfect for couples or families. Quiet location close to many great eating spots on the north side. Very clean with an excellent pool. Local grocery store and liquor store very close by, has most all basic needs. On the Bay is as advertised! Hosts very responsive. We highly recommend staying at 207 On the Bay!

This was our first visit to Grand Cayman and we couldn't even imagine a better place to stay. If you are looking for a quiet paradise getaway, this is your place. The condo is beautiful and clean. The view is priceless. The grounds are meticulously groomed. We rarely had to share the pool and beach with anyone. It was the perfect location to easily check out Rum Point and the East end of the island. Even the 40 minunte drive into Georgetown isn't bad if you plan for it. If you are looking for the hustle and bustle of a traditional resort/beach vacation , this is not your place.

Beautiful condo with excellent views exceeded our expectations. Very clean and new accommodations and the property was nicely maintained. with only 12 units its quiet and private. Mark and Christie were excellent hosts response to our questions and offered great recommendations. will definitely be back

We had an amazing time and this condo was perfect for us. We were looking to relax and avoid crowds and this was definitely the perfect spot. The condo was beautiful, Mark was so incredibly helpful and willing to offer tips and suggestions for the area, and everyone we encountered was so friendly. There is a grocery store a short drive away, delicious restaurants, and anything else we wanted to see or do was in reasonable driving distance. Our kids were first time snorkelers and they picked it up quickly right outside the property, and there were plenty of fish to see right there before we ventured out to other locations. It was amazing. Thank you for allowing our family to enjoy your beautiful property!

Great condo for three couples. Everyone had their own space. Amenities were great.

Liked the condo,pool and view! Was more isolated than I had thought so the drive to most activities and groceries was long! Loved it overall!

We loved the location of this property. Made it so easy to get to all the places recommended to us. We were able to easily explore the island , especially Rum Point area, the North and East End. Starfish Point ended up being our favorite place to bring chairs & drinks and hangout for several hours !!!! The condo was clean and larger than expected . It was perfect for us ! The views from the balcony were amazing . They had everything we needed for cooking /including a great blender for frozen drinks! The little cove was full of sargassum as were several beaches . It’s the time of year for it! We didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we hoped ! Next time !! We will be back ! The owner emailed all the information for the island , restaurants and grocery store . We were very thankful for that ! Should you need an ER (as I did unfortunately )Health City was not very far away at all . They took good care of my infected toe . It was not near as expensive as in the USA. One of the sweet groundskeepers told us where to go !!!

As soon as you walk in you’re drawn to the view! Then you notice the clean well appointed condo with comfortable beds and plenty of room to relax. The pool was perfectly heated with plenty of lounge chairs and very friendly people to share a drink and conversation. The Hennessey’s were super helpful, answering all questions and offering lots of advice! Here are a few things that might help with a future visit: *Location was perfect for us away from the crowds, but unfortunately Rum Point was still closed. *The lagoon on a normal day would be great to swim… but was full of seaweed due to the bloom all over the island. *The ocean colors are amazing, but wear shoes to walk the beach. There’s a track directly behind the condo that we used to work off all the wonderful food and drink! *Don’t count on GPS to get around the island! Internet is sporadic when away from the condo. Make sure to get a good map if renting a car. *We used Health City (near the Blowholes) to get our Covid test for the return flight. $25 and pretty quick plus it saved a trip into town. The information sheet provided by Mark and Christie came in very handy! We went to all the restaurants they recommended and most of the points of interest. Our favorites were Grand Old House, the Stingrays, snorkeling, Kaibo and starfish point (even with all the seaweed) and of course 7mile beach! We hung in the lounge chairs at Coral Beach with drink in hand, (happy hour 4-6pm) walked for miles and swam in the crystal clear water! On the Bay was a fantastic place for us 3 couples to relax and have fun! We enjoyed every sunset and even had a double rainbow over the ocean our last day!

We always stay on the North Side, from Rum Point to East End. This was our first time at this property, but definitely won't be the last. It is right in the middle of the North Side; close to everything, and quite private at the same time. The condo is larger than it appears in the photos. Six adults and lots of space for everyone. The grounds are beautiful. We had everything we needed and felt at home immediately. Breakfasts and sometimes lunches on the large balcony. Lots of room around the pool and in the lounge chairs on the beach. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. Our stay was so relaxing. A special word about the owners. Mark and Christie could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They called the week before out stay to make sure all was in order. We stayed during the last week before everything was closed by the coronavirus, and had some difficulties reaching the outside world for information. Mark and Christie had contacted us at the beginning of our stay to see that everything was good after check-in, so I reached out to them to see if they could find some information for us, and Mark got back with everything we needed to know and with some contact numbers that had additional information. Way above the call of duty! We were very thankful and it allowed us to relax a couple more days and fully enjoy the vacation! This was a great vacation for our family. Thank you Mark and Christie!

It was clean an well appointed...we loved the peace and quiet. All around great time.

Condo exactly like pictures but better. Rooms are spacious, kitchen well appointed, bathrooms roomy. Lots of little touches like hairdryers, beach supplies, paper products, soap,... All so you can relax right away. Grounds were immaculate, pool was great. Even when windy the lagoon is calm so you can enjoy the ocean. Great location away from the crowds but a short drive to anywhere.

We booked this apartment, having stayed at another here previously, we were not at all disappointed. The location is still, for us, the best on the island, away from Georgetown and Seven Mile Beach, but close enough when we wanted to visit. We had pre booked some diving with Ocean Frontiers, about 9 miles away on East End, they were brilliant, so good, we booked some more, we would highly recommend them. We spent more time this year than previously by the pool at the apartment, which again was excellent, clean, warm and enough beds around for all the families that were visiting at the same time as us. Plenty of space that you don’t feel overcrowded. The apartment is well equipped and has almost anything you could want in a holiday rental. The view from the balcony is still my favourite and we had breakfast there most mornings (when not diving), incredibly relaxing. We would highly recommend #207 and are looking forward to a return visit.

We made a last minute change from the south side (which had a bad case of sargassum) to this gem on the north side. It had everything we needed: a beautiful view of the ocean, a beach and lagoon, a pool/bbq grill, a nice 3 bedroom w/large patio, and it was only 15 easy driving minutes to the Ocean Frontiers dive ship. There appeared to be only 3 of the 12 places occupied, so we basically had the place to ourselves. Just a minute away was a food truck (Island Bites) that ended up being our favorite eating spot. All good!

We found lobster at the bottom of the lagoon and turtles at Rum Point. The food at the Caboose (walking distance from the condo) was great. Thanks to Mark and Christie for making this available us.

Just got back,could not have been better. Every thing is as advertised ,no suprises. The unit was perfect for three couples. Every thing you need is there. Mark provides a great info packet on the area that really helps. If you are looking for quiet this is the place to go. No crowd at the pool or beach . If you are looking for action Rum Point is just 15 minutes away,best of both worlds. I would rent this unit again in a heartbeat

The condo itself was clean, colorful, and spacious as shown in the pictures. The owners had a rule about keeping the thermostat set at 74 degrees or higher; they even had an electronic device that monitored the thermostat (and we are not sure what else it might have been monitoring). We had some trouble sleeping at night with that temperature setting. When we set the thermostat below 74, the owners emailed us to set it back up. They said that they had previously had trouble with the unit freezing up at lower temperature settings; they probably need to invest in a new A/C unit. The pool was a good size and well maintained. The ocean in front of the condo was not always as pictured. In fact, on most days the inner "protected" area inside of the volcanic rock and two man-made side walls was full of seaweed and some debris. Note that there is a slope from the beach down to the water (around 5-6 feet at the steepest point) that is not evident from the pictures. The ocean outside of the volcanic rock area was usually pretty wavy. We were afraid to go out there most days for fear of being slammed against the rocks. There was one day during the week (we were there in mid-December) when the wind and tides shifted, the protected area mysteriously cleared up, and the area outside of the volcanic rock was calm. We were able to snorkel on that day just outside of the volcanic rock wall. The water was crystal clear, calm, and around 3-4 feet deep. We saw many pretty fish. The rest of the week we enjoyed exploring many other beaches, restaurants, and other sites on the island. We snorkeled several different places. Our favorite beach that we visited was Governor's Beach on the south side of the island. Other than driving on the left side (stressful for us Americans), we found the people to be friendly and helpful. Everyone spoke English (with varying accents), and we felt safe wherever we ventured. Overall, the condo made a good home-base for exploring the island, but did not have the best beach access itself. The thermostat issue was a problem at night, but not during the day.

The condo itself is more than you could ask for. The owners have done a great job of providing everything from utensils to pool floats. The view is one that you will never get tired of. If you are coming from the US be aware our dollar is worth less here and the Canadian dollar does even worse. That and the fact that most stuff here is imported makes things a bit more expensive but I’ll pay it for the beauty of the island. Bioluminescent Bay is a must see. I can almost guarantee there is nothing like it in the continental US. Starfish Point and swimming with the turtles were also highlights of the trip. Thanks to Mark and Christie for sharing their piece of paradise.

As soon as we walked through the door we were in paradise! The condo was even better than it looks in the pictures. Very comfortable for our family of five. The owners are extremely helpful in providing you with the information on what to do and where to eat during your stay. We had a blast and ate my delicious meals. And after each fun filled day came back to relax in this perfect home! We will definitely be back!!

This was the first time using Home Away and it won't be the last. Communicating with the owner, Mark, was easy and very helpful. The condo is in a strategic area on The North Side, close to everything and still very peaceful and quiet. The place is very spacious, 3 bedrooms each with its own bathrooms, the kitchen well equipped, the balcony big enough for all 5 of us adults and a little one year old. They accommodated us with the requested crib as well. There are books, games, plenty of towels and really everything you need. Bring your own shampoo, that's all. Unfortunately it was the seaweed season (June through August) and we weren't able to swim in the resort lagoon, but no problem at all because we were quite active exploring this beautiful island and all it has to offer. If you chose to stay here, which I highly recommend, Mark will send you all info needed to guide you in spending your time well. Of course it is always nice to do your own research and just enjoy Grand Cayman. Yes, a rental car is necessary and don't be afraid, it isn't hard to drive on the other side. Caymanians are so nice and helpful, we really enjoyed ourselves and made memories for a lifetime. Thank you Mark and Christie, we are planning to be back. Rozalia and family.

We all loved our stay at Old Man Bay! Close enough to Rum Point but quiet and peaceful location. Condo itself is very nice, with pool and lagoon to swim. Communication and working with owners was smooth and easy.

After looking at several properties, narrowing it down to about 4 or 5 and then choosing this unit and paying to reserve it, we figured out it was the same place we stayed 9 years ago. There were different owners than now but everything else was the same except this time there were 6 of us and 4 first time. The unit is meant to hold 6 and it does so comfortably. There is a crib in the 3rd bedroom which decreases the space available in that room. It would be better if it was placed in the MB. It didn’t affect us but may someone else. The unit was clean and ready for use when we arrived. There is a working elevator which makes taking your luggage up easier. If you are staying anywhere on the island other than Seven Mile Beach area you will need a car. So if you are renting a car you should consider staying here. Out of the way on the north side but near enough to Rum Point, grocery store, dive shops, restaurants and sights. There are 2 small places to eat within walking distance that serve great food for a surprisingly affordable price. Other parts of the island are a moderate drive away. The unit has a washer/dryer. AC works well. Owner does not want temp set lower than 74 but that is low enough to keep the unit more than comfortable. The outside property is well kept. There is a sandy beach that is great for sitting in the sun or shade. The rocky shore is great for older kids to explore. The little lagoon is nice but is not much for anything except ambiance. The pool is well maintained. There are a bunch of beach chaise loungers but some of them are a little tired and used. There was never a time the beach was crowded or there wasn’t a chair to use. There is no way to enter the water on this beach besides the lagoon. Too rocky with waves and current. There is a grill of sorts. It’s actually a smoker grill. We used an aluminum roasting pan on a support bed to get the coals closer to the grill and it worked fine. If we ever did another trip to G.C. we wouldn’t hesitate to come back to On the Bay condos. It’s worth every $ we spent to stay here.

We had a fantastic time. This Condo is located on the more quiet, secluded North side of the Island which was perfect for us. We had three adult couples in our group who enjoyed lounging here by the pool, preparing our own meals and taking day trips in our rental van around the Island. The condo could not have been more perfect for us. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom and the living room and dining room were very spacious. From our experience traveling, and VRBOing in the Caribbean, this unit is definitely a 5-Star Condo, with waterfront views, easy access to the pool, a well stocked kitchen, and all the conveniences of home. It's location is convenient to all of the major attractions. Communications with our host were also excellent. We are already planning our return trip for next year.
