The view of the Pacific Ocean from the front is wonderful and the view of the vineyards and foothills in back is equally fabulous! We really enjoyed hiking the fire road into the National Forest behind the property!

The layout of the house is exceptional and comfort is a key factor.

This was a perfect place for our two-week stay. We loved the views of the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other. There's a very nice trail for hiking right next to the driveway. Convenient to groceries and restaurants, and many of the sights we hoped to see. The furnishings are very comfortable, with the two ensuite bed/baths separated by the central living/kitchen area.

This is a really special place. The view is truly unbelievable and you can look out from everywhere in the house. Interior is very comfortable and cool, even better than I expected from the pictures. Our host Robin responded quickly to questions. A great place to get away.

Such a beautiful setting! Our family of 4 really enjoyed the location. The bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. We loved the property and hiked into the National Park. We visited Malibu, Hollywood, Santa Barbara and the Getty museum on our way back to LAX. It was easy to get around. A downside was tiny ants in the kitchen when we arrived and throughout the unit by the time we left. We were also there for the heavy rain and flooding. Robin was very quick in communicating with us as we had concerns. We really enjoyed quality family time with beautiful views! Thank you

Amazing views and location!

This was quite a unique property with a great location and sweeping views of the ocean. Shops just down the hill and a challenging hike back up! Would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here randomly last May just by luck! This visit it was by choice and we will definitely return. The location on the hill overlooking the ocean is fabulous. The serenity and tranquility of the area makes for a long weekend getaway where you truly feel like you get the opportunity to stop world I want off! We were here with family enjoying quality time. Thanks to the professionalism and communication of the property manager, Robin, our stay was first class. Highly recommend you drop off the grid here for a visit.

Great little spot overlooking a vineyard on one side and the ocean out the front. We loved the modern, minimalistic decorations of the unit and it served our family of three perfectly. We used the kitchen to make breakfast and snacks. We started our days with coffee on the patio overlooking the ocean and the home was a perfect place to come back to later in the day and relax. We loved the market and shops just down the road and made multiple stops there for shopping and supplies. Communication with the owner was great and they were very responsive. There is another unit adjacent to this unit and there is a shared patio, but the owners have done a nice job screening the patio so you don't see the other party, but you will hear each other if outside. Once in our unit though we never heard a thing. Loved our stay here and would stay again!

We love this property! Second time we have stayed there and our family really enjoys the place! We love the location , the views are fantastic, the place is clean and we look forward to going back.

The appartement and the environment is so exciting, unbelievable. Really! The view, the quietness, equipment inside for cooking, perfect bathroom, the view in the backyard, everything! I can’t recommend enough. Close to the beach, but far enough to recreate.. There would surely be other points to mention, but we're still stunned.. Communication with the owner is super fast and very kind. (If my English is not perfect, sorry, I’m from Germany..) You can’t go wrong here!!

Can’t beat that view! All features and appliances explained in the description are accurate. Very clean. Great location. Comfortable beds. Easy to follow check in instructions. Safe. We didn’t need to bother the host even once with additional questions and we never even met them. Very private spot. If I come back to Malibu I would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed staying here. Loved sitting on the rocking chairs looking down at the coastline. Location is perfect, off the PCH but right down the hill is a plaza with everything you need. Far enough away from mobs of traffic. Highly recommend!

Great place and location

The view is stunning—on both sides of the house—and the house is clean and modern with a bit of an industrial vibe (concrete floors, minimal decor). The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, drinkware, utensils, and even a few bottles of water in the fridge. There is a nice market and restaurants down the street which is convenient. Only a couple of areas of minor disappointment; the lack of clarity that this is a duplex (maybe we missed this detail? But we were fortunate that no one was staying in the attached second half) and a lack of coziness (which could have been helped with a couple of throw blankets for cuddling on the couch or while sitting in the patio’s rocking chairs enjoying the view). All in all it is a special property and we enjoyed our stay.

What an awesome property! The views are spectacular (ocean view & vineyard). The house is absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. The bathrooms are very "spa-like" and the stone floors in the shower were great. The grocery store right by the house is super cute and had a fresh food bar each day along with all of the other necessities you would need. I highly recommend this home and can't wait to visit again!

This property was simply gorgeous and I can’t recommend it enough. Part of a vineyard, the home itself is small but well kept and the views are worth the price tag. Above Trancas, the location was exactly what we were looking for with proximity to West Malibu. Very quiet, the directions to the property are easy enough to follow. I wish we had more time to explore the hills behind the vineyard. Plenty of places to sit and relax with a glass of wine, WiFi was easy to connect to and I actually sat outside for some meetings which was amazing. Kitchen was small but well appointed. We will definitely be back!
