We stayed in this beautiful, old farmhouse for my son’s graduation from UVA. My only criteria was a place with 2 main floor beds and baths for my parents and mother in law. It’s got a lot of charm, any possible kitchen gadget you could want for, tons of nooks and crannies for privacy (note: if you are looking for an open floor plan, this is not your place). The grounds are beautiful with vineyards and the mountains in the distance. We were a bit off season for the pool, but it was well maintained. Rustic, charming, quirky. Great place to congregate with family.

This is definitely an older house but suited our needs just fine. It's such a cute and cozy place with plenty of parking when you have several couples meeting up. It's also a great location for exploring the mountain, breweries and wineries in the areas. The owner is very responsive and very nice!

There were 8 adults in our party. Plenty of room for everyone. The Farmhouse was very comfortable. Very close to other wineries.

There is something so special about staying at the Farmhouse! You cannot beat the views and charm of staying in this house. My big family and I had such a wonderful time here. We cooked several great meals in the fully stocked kitchen and enjoyed being able to walk to Cardinal Point. I cannot wait to come back in the future!

We are quickly becoming regulars. The farmhouse is charming, spacious, and comfortable. The vistas from the yard are stunning. The pool is a great bonus and the winery below the farmhouse is a great place to spend the afternoon. Perfect location. Other nearby wineries, breweries, distilleries, golf, tons of really cool stores. Just a great stay, as always.

We absolutely fell in love with this Farmhouse, the views are gorgeous. It was perfect for 10 ladies with lots of food!! We spent most of the time at the pool.. we are now planning an annual trip!!!

We were a group from charlottesville wanting to do a local getaway for a bachelorette. This place was so incredibly beautiful - the pictures do not do it justice. It was absolutely stunning and so charming and we felt like we were a million miles away instead of 30 minutes from home. We didn’t leave the house all weekend and had a great time enjoying the pools, the views and cooking.

Needless to say, the Mountain View’s are breathtaking! The location is beautiful, private, and refreshing! The home served as a gathering place with plenty of room for indoor/outdoor activities! Being able to jump in the pool to cool off and then running off to play outdoor games…perfect! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy our Virginia experience!

Nothing can beat the sunsets we enjoyed while staying at the Farm House. The pool was also a highlight as it was an easy activity for the kids on days we were just hanging out at the house. We met the farm dog, Tenny, who was full of energy! And what can be better than a 4 minute walk down the hill to the tasting room at Cardinal Point Vineyard!

We had an absolute wonderful time! The house was perfect for us. House was cozy, comfortable, and clean. Kitchen was well stocked and we made full use of it. Sunsets into the Blue Ridge right outside the window were glorious. Susan and Tim were fantastic and we can't wait to come back!

The farmhouse was spacious and comfortable for our group of seven adults and 3 (very) little ones. Loved everything about our stay and hope to come back again! Such a beautiful and peaceful location to sip some wine and reunite with great friends.

Beautiful setting for a family friendly wine weekend get away.

My just parents had their 50th wedding anniversary and we decided to spend it together touring around some wineries for the weekend all together. We found this GEM of a house and it fit our needs perfectly. It has a large kitchen and dining room which was perfect for our cooking and entertaining too. I’d highly recommend staying here!

It was simple and painless The property was beautiful the house more then charming. So many nooks to hide in and so many great spaces to gather in groups. My one complaint I could not find the liquid measuring cup any where Susan was a wonderful hostess I would definitely return and recommend this to others

Our group had a marvelous time at the farmhouse again! Susan was very responsive to a couple of minor issues and helped in the enjoyment of the weekend. Looking forward to our next visit!

Great fun at our girl's trip to the Farmhouse at Cardinal Point! The home is beautiful, well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The pool was a huge hit! Highly recommend the property and the great owners! We can't wait to go back for our 4th stay!

We stayed for a local wedding and used the house as home base for the bridal party as well as family and friends to stop by. Susan was a great hostess, and answered all questions and provided great information. The house is laid out great so that if you have someone staying with you who finds stairs difficult, there are two first floor bedrooms, complete with bathrooms. All bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. There are individual air units in each room so you can control the temperature as you see fit. The pool area is GREAT... you are overlooking not just the vineyard, but the mountains. Such a lovely view. There is quite a bit of pool furniture... tables and chairs as well as loungers. And, so many pool toys! Everyone loved the lounge chairs for the water! The kitchen as very well stocked. Not only with dinnerware, but any serving dish you may want to use! I cannot say enough good things about this property, and Susan was great if we had any questions! Would recommend, and plan to come back with the family again!

The farmhouse is lovely. Clean, roomy, and the kitchen has everything you might need to make a perfect vacation meal. Susan is an excellent host, and made sure that everything was to our liking. Can't say enough good things about the house and it's surrounds. And the Cardinal Point wines are icing on the cake--be sure to take plenty home!

The farmhouse is set on a ridge above the winery and the view is nothing less than spectacular. The house itself is charming, and each of the 5 bedrooms is comfortable and a sufficient distance apart (the house is very quiet and restful). The kitchen in the farmhouse is open and perfect for socializing while you cook The farmhouse is also very close to any number of activities, other wineries, distilleries and beer joints, plus a lot of cool small towns. But at the end of your day, you can go back to the farm house, open up a couple of the bottles you purchased from the winery below you, and sit by the pool or in the backyard and take in the beauty.

The house was great. There are plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Cooking in the kitchen is a breeze as they have all the pots, pans, and cooking utensils supplied making it very easy. Going to the winery on site is makes it safe and fun to enjoy the local wine. I highly recommend and look forward to booking for another weekend!

The location of the farmhouse and the winery are outstanding. The scenery is terrific, the house is well equipped, the views are gorgeous, and the peace and quiet very calming. I highly recommend this for a place to rejuvenate oneself!

We had a wonderful weekend at this farmhouse nestled in a vineyard. The views were breathtaking and there was plenty of space to spread out. Cardinal Point Winery was a short walk down the hill and had excellent wines. There were a few other lovely family-friendly wineries with a ten minute drive. The property was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. The property owner communicated very well and checked to see that we had every thing we needed. We highly recommend and would love to visit again.

Absolutely thrilled we stayed here among the many choices we considered. It's just a very different, unique experience and great place to make enjoyable memories. My friends and I were in desperate need of a short getaway and this property fit the bill! We had plenty of space, a great kitchen to cook, and that beautiful pool and outdoor area. Susan, our host was super responsive, and I felt that it truly was a home away from home. We will absolutely return!
