We stayed here for a fall wedding in Winterport. Cabin was great for my family and loved being closer to Belfast. The rocky beach in front of cabin is great to explore. We found the place to be very clean and the mattresses to be comfortable. It’s a quick 5 minute drive to town. We would stay here again!

This was a perfect place for three of us! The photos do not do justice to the cabin-- there are more updates than you can see. We woke up to amazing sunrises every morning and had wine at the picnic tables every night...just lovely!!

Janet was quick to respond to questions, helpful, and caring, showing concern that we weathered the hurricane. Very comfortable cottage. Clean. Would stay here again.

This was an amazing place to stay, dial down and relax. The views are spectacular. The location is very close to Belfast and all it has to offer. This place afforded jaunts to other places to explore within 45 min to an hour.

Cottage had a breathtaking view of the water. Very clean.
Towels are very old, stained and rough, no air conditioner. When we arrived, everything was locked up and extremely warm inside. ( no fans on) With windows opened, only room to stay cool was kitchen. ( bedroom was hard to cool)
There was AC but wasn’t allowed to use it. ( we had some really warm days).

A relaxing getaway in a well maintained cottage. The views of the bay were relaxing and magnificent. Enjoyed the wildlife on the beach from the seals to bald eagles and many hiking areas close by including Acadia only an hour drive away. After working up an appetite all day we enjoyed the many restaurants close by in town.

Very clean! Perfect location! Felt just as comfortable as being at home. Loved walking on beach at low tide - lots of beach to walk, very private and quiet. Definitely want to come back. Owner extremely easy to work with and responsive. One of the best VRBO experiences we’ve had.

The cottage was very well equipped and in a beautiful location on the ocean offering a nice and peaceful setting. Yet the location made access to downtown Belfast within minutes and centrally located to make day trips to other tourist locations such as Bar Harbor or Camden. My wife and I loved it and are interested in returning again sometime next year!

This spectacular cottage by the sea stole my heart from the moment we pulled up. Sitting by the sea, it has everything you would want and more. From its charm, happy vibe, and proximity to the sea, it’s decor and amenities, to its location, this cottage was all and more. We’ll definitely be back some day. Thank you, Janet!

The pictures don't do this property justice. It is so beautifully done. Very nice finishes and lots of little extra touches maje it the perfect home away from home!

Perfect setting looking over the water. We enjoyed being at the cottage as much as we enjoyed our time at the surrounding sights. It was well furnished; modern with the rustic setting we wanted.

This cottage is AMAZING! I was afraid the photos of how close it was to the bay would be exaggerated, but it isn’t! You are right there on the water! Perfect for sunrise/sunset walks! I will definitely be going back!

The house was very clean and fully equipped for us. It was small and quaint, perfect for our family of 4. Great location, we enjoying walking on the beach looking for shells and taking a day trip to Acadia. It was just what we were looking for on a long weekend trip to Maine.

The accommodations, view, cottage all exceeded our expectations. We'll be booking soon for next year as this has been the best house we've rented over the past five years! Just a wonderful, wonderful property! We were so happy to have found this gem!

Our expectations were exceeded at every point of our stay. The cottage was perfect: spotlessly clean, well-decorated, comfy, cozy, a bottle of wine waiting. This property is so beautiful. Situated on the bay with gorgeous views! The cottage It is spotless and everything you could need is available. It is bright and cozy. The location is perfect for touring Belfast and Camden. We would highly recommend staying here.

Great location for access to downtown Belfast and only a few steps to Penobscot Bay with spectacular views from the cottage. There are many options in Belfast for hiking, restaurants, two farmers markets as well as a nice harbor walk and foot bridge. Janet was very responsive to all of our questions.

Overall a wonderful little gem of a cottage with all you need. It was perfect for our family of four. One thing to keep in mind is the second bedroom is a bit tight for two kids, but it was really only used for sleeping.
It’s an easy walk down to the rocky beach, and Belfast is a short drive away. A very peaceful place and we hope to visit again for sure.

The pictures online do not do this cottage justice! It is a beautiful cottage with incredible views. It is also very clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything you need. We felt at home immediately. After four days on the road we couldn't have asked for a better place to relax a bit. We did visit Acadia during our stay and while it is a bit of a drive, it's so nice to stay away from the crowds and traffic of the park. Would highly recommend this rental for small families.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage comes very well equipped and was very clean. We sat outside in the chairs to completely relax watching the water and a few sail boats.
As an early riser, even in July, the indoor fire place quickly took the touch of chill off the room. We will definitely rent here again on our next visit.

This is our second trip to this property. Everything is amazing: perfect size, comfy beds, amazing bay front views, and supplies for anything a week at the beach could present. Highly recommend for a family of four. It’s also 30-60 minutes to so many fun Maine sites including Acadia, Camden, and Bangor.

My husband and I stayed in Janet’s cottage for a long weekend. We had the absolute best time and the location was perfect for us! About an hour and 20 minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia and about 2 hours from Portland made for an easy drive to either location. The town of Belfast is adorable and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The views are unbeatable right from the kitchen table of the cottage! The cabin was well equipped and the perfect size for a couple or a family with small kids. If we find ourselves back up in Maine, we will definitely stay here again!!

The property owner was very nice and the place and location was perfect. The view was amazing and the cottage was just like the pictures. There was plenty of kitchen utensils. The cottage was decorated so cute and enjoyed looking at all the brochures about the surrounding area that were available. The cottage was very clean with plenty of towels and essentials. We will definitely stay here again. Also the location couldn’t be better with being right in the middle of acadia National park and Camden.

We loved it here. The location is directly on the ever-changing Penobscot Bay and there’s a large rocky beach to explore. The cottage is light and bright. It’s very comfortable and well equipped with everything you’ll need for a great stay. We would return.

We loved the location right on the shore and the cabin was wonderful. The property was just as pictured. The location was about 15 minutes from Belfast, an easy drive. I would recommend!

View, cottage and amenities were just wonderful. Host provided a bottle of wine :) among other useful vacation tools. Internet connection supported zoom conference calls. My only wish: easier access to walks. House is just off the major road into Belfast. Rocky beach was mostly navigable with proper footwear.
