Pros - House is big and in a good location, close to restaurants, park and other activities. It is a short walk ( 2 blocks) from a very nice beach. Backyard and decks are nice with plenty of room for a large group. Cons - Air conditioning is impossible to control. At night Master bedroom and room downstairs are FREEZING. Bring warm blankets. Two bedrooms and 3rd floor bathroom do not have regular locking doors. ( louvre or sliding doors). No one used the 3rd floor bathroom because of lack of privacy. Not enough seating for all of us. (we were 13) Only 8 chairs in the dining room table and 2 at counter. The owner accused us of taking/stealing 2 of his "expensive beach chairs". In a phone call on our way home he stated, "It looks like 2 chairs are missing, although I haven't actually counted them. Did you take them? All the chairs were here when the last renters left." I was quite upset being accused of stealing and asked him to actually count the chairs because we would never take anything from a house we are renting. A text about a half hour later stated "found the chairs, All is good." He didn't even feel it necessary to apologize for accusing us of taking the chairs. We have rented many homes on this site and others and I have never given less then a 5 star rating. We treat the homes we rent like they were our own. The owners were always gracious and welcoming. Not this time. Just be aware of the type of person you are renting from. We will not be back. Geri

The house had room for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped. When we didn’t go to the beach the back yard was a comfortable option. The beach was beautifully maintained & only 2 short blocks away.

This house is amazing! We absolutely loved it. The location was great and an easy walk to the beach with the 3 buggies and 10 chairs provided. The "Sky Lounge" (as we called it) was THE BEST! You can see the ocean and the bay from this "Crow's Nest" just by turning your head. You can sleep 21 people in this house - comfortably! The owner was also the best - friendly, happy and accommodating. Could not have asked for or expected a better experience. We highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again! Thank you!

The location was phenomenal, we were out of the busy area but had a food store, liquor store, a few restaurants and an ice cream place all within walking distance. We had different cars visiting all week and the parking was never a problem. There were more than enough beds for all fifteen of us and lots of room to feel comfy. The best part of the house, though, was by far the top deck where we spent a great deal of time; the views of the bay and ocean were spectacular! Finally, I could not write a review without mentioning our very accommodating host; he answered all of our questions quickly and even offered to drive down and meet us there when we asked about seeing the place over the winter. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again. The whole rental process was smooth and I would highly recommend this house to anyone that wants a great place in a great location!

We had 11 adults and 5 children/teens for our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone. Sleeping arrangements were good. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, glasses, etc. The owner is very responsive to questions. You can tell that he really cares about your having a great experience. While the dining table only seats 8, there is plenty of room to add additional tables and chairs by expanding into the great room for meal time. Our entire family was really pleased with the property.
