Madeline Island is a summer home to several members of our family and has been for over a century! Since we no longer own property, renting is the next best thing. We saw many family members and boated around the islands. The stay was wonderful Thank you! My biggest comment/concern is the bathroom floors were not very clean nor were the window openings nor was the deck. The deck furniture could all use major cleaning as well. I’m sorry for the cleanliness report yet I believe it’s very important. The cabin is nicely laid out; we all had a good time. How about adding some board games and a variety of card games? Property was nice, very quiet part of the island. Easy to relax and enjoy natures beauty.

Turn-key perfect!

Close enough to town, but quiet enough to relax. The occasional ‘ping’ of a golf driver adds to atmosphere.

my only thought is the fan in bedroom on golf course side Is a bit noisy needs adjusting the beds are really comfortable Bonus the bed room in front has wooden knobs on footboard That are hidden we all knocked our knees

Cute cottage overlooking the golf course in the middle of everything we wanted to get to. Love biking the roads and the trails, could bike into town within 10 minutes. Cozy home on a peaceful road.

The house was great. The view of the golf course is great, and it's fun watching herds of golfers. I think I'm ready to make smart remarks and give bad advice. could use wifi but I wouldn"t not stay because of that as next 4th will be my 3rd yr there. and the sauna is fantstic.

In town for a wedding. Great location. Easy to bike into town. Beautiful sunset over golf course.

Wonderful place!

Check in was easy, place was very spacious. We were promptly greeted by the neighbor dogs, which were our favorite part! They came back everyday for their snack tax. Would love to visit again and stay in the same house!

Fun to stay on the golf course on an island. House was a good size for a family of 4.

Had a lovely time on Madeleine Island at this property. Due to a packed schedule, we did not get to enjoy the nice porch (or canoeing) as we would’ve liked but the property was a lovely place, quiet and a very quick trip into the main town area. Entire process was easy (check-in and access). Thanks for a nice stay!

Excellent home with everything we needed for our stay. The deck was a great place to relax under the shade of trees. The location was perfect, quiet, and still walking distance to village center.

Ron is one of the most responsive and attentive hosts ever! He alerted us to severe weather which was deeply appreciated. The kitchen is well stocked, beds were comfortable, lots of towels! We'd definitely stay again!

The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the dining and living areas were very pleasant. Madeline Island is a great destination for a get away. We had a very nice stay! Our only complaint was the lack of attention to detail on the cleaning front. The ceiling fans were loaded with dust. The stove and stove drawer were very greasy. We scrubbed the cook top knobs because they were really grimy. The patio doors had dead bugs and cobwebs along the corners. Given that renters pay a cleaning fee, we expected greater attention to detail.

We spent a week on the island for a family reunion. It worked out very well. The deck is especially nice, in fact it offers shade almost all day, which seems very unusual. Would have been a 5 but there are some quirks in the house, e.g. certain kitchen cabinets are hard to access unless you’re tall. That’s very minor & certainly we may want to rent the house for our annual family reunion again in the future. Thanks!

Second time staying at this home. Nice home on golf course. Quiet neighborhood. Well kept. We would stay again.

The house was very nice to stay in. Bed were very comfortable, rooms were a good size, kitchen was well-equipped, flyers and other info on the Island were provided, outside deck was great, use of a canoe at BigBay was a fun addition, two story gazebo was a plus, as was sauna. There were no real negative. Perhaps owner could mention that beach towels are not provided, which I figured and brought my own. Host was responsive when I had questions. Location was wonderful since it was very peaceful, yet closes enough to town to walk. Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay on the island. The sauna and gazebo were wonderful to use during the rain. Minutes from town - great for biking. We hope to return again!

This was a great place to stay for our annual girls adventure! We kayaked with Ed (across from Joni's Park), biked the island (note the dirt roads), hiked Big Bay Town Park and State Park, cliff jumped at the State Park, and rented mopeds to explore the rest of the island. It was great to come back to the cabin after each day's excursion.

Such a cute and cozy place to stay with an amazing view of the golf course! There is not a negative thing to be said about our entire stay! We will be back!

This place was great! We brought our bikes and were able to ride to the town center in 7 minutes. It was very convenient, but far enough away on the golf course to feel secluded w plenty of privacy.. The home was cozy and comfortable w nostalgic Superior decor. We had everything we needed. Big bonuses were the sauna and the overlook tower! We would definitely stay here again!

A friend and I stayed here while visiting Madeline Island and the Apostle islands area. The property was clean and very great for the both of us to stay! Beds were comfy, there was a library, and lots of kitchenware for use as needed! Gazebo was also cool! Didn't use sauna but it's there for those who want to use! It was a 5 star place for us to stay!! We got to the Island a bit early and quite a few things we were wanting to do weren't open so it was nice to have a great place to stay! I would highly recommend staying here! Owners were very easy to reach on messages as well and very polite! Even had brochures of the area and a map which was great! I would definitely stay again! 2 bedroom, living room/kitchen, and two bathrooms were great for us!
