Our family enjoyed this cozy property which is near the beach as well as an easy walk to shops/restaurants. Ed & Deb helped us work around a family medical issue and were very responsive with any question/need. A+

I Family has stayed with Deb for the second time this year. We love this location and it’s sister cottage next-door. Great location, walkable to Saint Armands Circle, and just a short walk to the beach. Great environment and the beach is not crowded typically. We will definitely stay again!

A beautiful bungalow near the beach. Loved all aspects of the facility. It was great for my little pup. Lots of glassware, etc. so would be hesitant w/ young kids. Fabulous location and amenities. Check in is rather late; an earlier check in can be requested. We did have issues with check in as code did not work & were exhausted after a very long drive, plus needed to be available for family events. Otherwise, hassle free & lovely. Wished I had stayed longer.

My sister and I have been at Flamingo before, and we love the proximity of it to the beach and to our friends who live on North Pork Drive, around the corner. The two bedroom cottage is perfect for us and is so comfortable and convenient and well appointed. We hope to be able to return to Flamingo Cottage in the years ahead. We love it there!

The pictures did not do the home justice! It had everything you would possibly need and more. My husband and I came with our 2 teenage daughters and the location was perfect for all of us! Couldn’t have found a better rental. Will definitely rent again!

I rented this house to be close to the Mote Marine Laboratory where my grandson had adopted an octopus. We were 3 generations staying in the house and it met all of our needs. It is away from the crazy crowded beaches, lots of nature to see in the wild. The black skimmer birds were nesting on the beach. We saw two manatees just swimming close to shore. We collected dead sanddollars and saw many live ones too. The free bikes provided were enjoyed everyday. The beach equipment was in good condition. I met the property owner one morning while I was enjoying quiet time on the front porch. He was making sure the house next door was ready for the next guests. A nice man who wants his guests to enjoy these great retro bungalows. It is sad the large condos are being built in the neighborhood. I recommend: Mote Aquarium , Ringling Museum, kayaking mangrove, Siesta Key Rum Distillery

What an amazing gem. Absolutely gorgeous beach down a short path. Perfect walking location to the circle with excellent, shopping & restaurants. We enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo Cottage. Great location. walking distance to St. Armand's Circle and close to the beach. The cottage had everything you would need for a great beach vacation. Very clean and comfortable. We were also glad the cottage was pet friendly so we could bring our dog with us. Deb was a great host and we would definitely stay at the Flamingo Cottage again!

A comfortable cottage very close to Lido Beach in Sarasota. Excellent walking beach and sunset viewing. Walkable to St. Armands Circle for dining, shopping and galleries. A quiet location (once the new house across the street is finished), well appointed and very comfortable. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed Flamingo Cottage.

My grandaughter and friend stayed here and I live two houses away. They loved it. We had Christmas brunch outside in the back prepared by the girls. Very good!

While the beach cannot be seen from the cottage, it is only about a 5 to 8 minute walk along a windswept nature path to the beach shoreline. It was really beautiful. Our family of five traveled to the Flamingo Cottage and had a wonderful experience. This house provided for our needs. The pictures do not justify the proximity to the beach. Getting to the beach was our priority and this could not have been easier. With three kids (6, 4, and 3) we were constantly returning to the cottage for forgotten items (pacis, blankets, milk, bathroom needs). The walk was simple, direct and would have trusted my 6 year old to manage it alone. If it was not for the construction of a hotel house nearby (lots of male workers watching), I would allowed for it. The street was only residents. The house is dated in the 1960s. But if you can look beyond aesthetics, it serves every needs for going to the beach. Beautiful sand. Well located restaurants. We certainly will return.

The amenities were top notch, including all beach gear (you could hop on a plane with nothing in hand and still have everything you need at this house), private outdoor space with tons of seating and fire pit, bikes, and everything in a kitchen you could ever want or need. The location cannot be beat. The convenient walk to the beach was a couple of minutes away and the north side of Lido Beach was quiet and secluded and perfect for relaxing or swimming. At night, a one minute walk had us in the center of St. Armand's circle. Deb was very responsive to questions and needs. We highly recommend this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat!
