This is a great home for a family getaway. The location is terrific and the house is beautiful. It was so nice to have access to the indoor and outdoor pools, the hot tub, and close access to the beach. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your golf cart. It truly made the trip wonderful. The outside gate was a great way to allow us to spend time on the deck without the dogs getting loose.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Bev's Beach House and had access to everything we needed. The location of the property and amenities of the complex were a nice change from our usual vacation spot. We enjoyed the ease of the private beach access and the community pools also! Would definitely reccomend Bev's Beach House!

When I first rented this place it supposedly came with a golf cart. When I got the rental agreement she wanted it signed and sent back asap so I didn't get a chance to read it so we didn't know you no longer get to use it. Hopefully she took that out of her description!!

This was one of the best stocked houses we have stayed in. We have stayed in many rental homes before and usually have our bin of essentials from paper products to salt and pepper to sand toys but Bev had more than enough staples in her home that made it feel like our own home! The location was ideal; a quick walk to the dog park and playground as well as the beach and the bonus of using Bev's beautiful golf cart added to the ease of bringing things to the beach. Bev was amazing to work with, especially with communication after the hurricane. Our family had a wonderful vacation!

This was our 2nd year at this home , and there's a reason we returned, everything about this place is perfect for us ! Beverly is awesome , the home is great and the location is fantastic !!

We had the best week at Bev’s! Everything you could need for the week, lots of space to relax. My husband & kids loved being so close to the beach as well as the pond behind it. It was an added bonus we could bring our pup, she’s part of our family. We will definitely be back!

The family enjoyed our stay in Oceanside Village at Surfside Beach. Beverly is a great hostess. She will answer all of your questions about your stay. Her home is lovely and a great location. Close golf cart ride or walk to the beach.

Our family enjoyed our second stay at this property. It is in a great location and meets our need of being pet friendly. It is very clean for a high volume rental property, and the owner is excellent to work with. While the house is showing some signs of normal wear and tear, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Had a very nice time. Best part of the house, side porch. Ate dinner there every night. The sun set behind the house so side porch was in the shade. Very comfortable.

The kids loved to fish at the ponds on site. Many neighbors were really nice and gave them pointers about where the "good" places to go fish. The house is cute, seemed clean, and I loved that it had hand sanitizer! The only issue that was annoying is that when we went to relax at night with the tv, I'm guessing the last tenants logged out of Netflix etc. we didn't have much of a choice in what to watch. Everything else was quite nice. Also close to everything, easy to find, and quiet.

Our family simply can't say enough about our stay in your vacation home. It was everything and more than we expected. The house was very clean and had that "welcome to our home" feeling. We loved sitting outside on the beautiful wrap around deck after returning from the beach to enjoy a relaxing happy hour.The golf cart was a big hit with our three small grandchildren. The fact that we had our "private beach parking" was awesome.We knew how very important this particular golf cart was to Beverly and we treated it with alot of tlc. We had great weather to enjoy all the activities in and outside the community. Beverly was so easy to approach from the beginning of our booking to the last of our stay. Having the grocery store and Walmart directly accross the highway was also a great find. Feeding the ducks was a daily must for our kids. We will definately be back sometime in the future. Again, I can't express how easy it was to rent this beach house from Beverly. Thanks for sharing your home with my family. Can't wait to come back!

Very clean beach house. Enjoyed use of golf cart and Oceanside Village dedicated beachfront area which made going to the beach a breeze. Having access to beach chairs and umbrella came in handy. My Dog really enjoyed her daily walks around the lake and neighborhood.

This was our first time staying in Bev's beach house & I certainly hope it will not be our last. We were here for the month of October and I don't know where to begin to describe this lovely house. The listing description is totally accurate and the house is even prettier than the photos show. It was spotlessly clean and very well-maintained........very spacious and a great location. It has everything you need for a perfect vacation. The "teal warrior" golf cart was an added bonus. It was so nice riding it to the beach, and around the village, and feeding the ducks. Bev, thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful beach house. We appreciate all your help in making our stay a great one. We really hope to return again. Danny & Susan

This was by far the nicest home we have ever stayed in at Oceanside Village! The space was perfect, very clean, well maintained with top of the line furnishings. It had a nice homey feel to it and the location of it in Oceanside was perfect. The golf cart was a terrific bonus! There wasn't one thing missing that we needed while we were there. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything for cooking. If we are lucky enough to make it back to MB next year, we will definitely be staying here! My wife and I have spent Oct. thru Mar. in Bev's Beachhouse for the last 4 years, and loved the place. We had stayed in 4 other places over the 4 previous winters. We have now made our visits permanent and moved to the area. However, there is no place like Oceanside Village. We'll miss you Beverley.

This beach house is, by far, one of the cleanest and most beautiful homes in Oceanside Village. When I walked in the door, my first thought was: "I could live here!" We had a wonderful week at the beach and your beautiful (did I say "beautiful" again?), well equipped, superbly located home made it even better. It was a great place to enjoy Oceanside Village which we love so much. There's no place like it anywhere on the Grand Strand. Thanks for allowing us to vacation in your amazing home, Bev. My family and I stayed at My Place in the Sun over Easter holiday 2013 and totally enjoyed our stay. The weather didn't cooperate like we wanted but we still had a good time. The home is beautifully decorated and everything is just like the pictures show on the website. With walking distance to the beach, there were many trips to see the ocean, whether we walked or rode in a very nice golf cart that is provided. A new amenity to the village this year is a nice water park for the kids, young and old to enjoy. Pet friendly places are hard to find but Bev welcomed my two dogs in to her home so they could enjoy the beach too! They had a great time chasing the ducks and taking long walks on the beach! "Your Place in the Sun" is appropriately named. We felt right at home in this really comfortable, up to date house. Great location in the "South Myrtle" area. The environment was great: restaurant choices, activities, church nearby. The beach was as close as advertised. The gated community gave the security we thought was a bonus. Its grounds were tidy and pleasant. The owner's golf cart, included in the rental price, was indeed a bonus... and a beauty. The house was just right: good layout, clean, all appliances, fixtures and furniture as expected. Its outside appearance and second level living were as pictured. The owner provided fine service and preparation, especially for a first visit to the area. It was a joy to have such courtesy extended, especially her extending hospitality to pets. We would not kennel or leave our dog with someone. No dining or activity disappointed. Just across Business 17, Tupelo Bay, as advised by the owner, was perfect for family golf of differing levels of experience. We liked it so much we played the executive course twice and minature golf once. Broadway on the Beach was close enough for two visits and was a family hit. Speaking of hits, so were the Pelicans. We'd recommend this property (and have) to anyone, just not when we might want to rent it again. Myrtle is now our favorite beach destination, even with the heavy traffic on move in and move out days. There's so much more to see and do that can fit into one relaxed pace week.

This was a great vacation. The house was exactly as described and Bev was easy to work with and responded quickly to emails. It was very close to the beach and the community was quite and everyone was very friendly. Having the golf cart was a great addition. We felt right at home. Would definately go back and use the house. Beds are comfortable. Everything you need to have a relaxing vacation.

The house was exactly as described. It was clean and nicely decorated and felt like home to all of us. The bedrooms were nice sized and the house had plenty of space. The golf cart was an added bonus for a drive around the community. The owner, Beverley was super nice and even pointed out that she had what I needed for my 10 month old nephew in terms of a bed, highchair, stroller and babygates. A great time was had by all especially sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake everynight while we ate dinner. The location was terrific, close to the beach and shopping. I certainly would recommend this house to family and friends but doing so makes me a littile nervous because I really want it for myself without a lot of competition. We have rented this property for several years and we LOVE it. The house is always spotlessly clean and very roomy. It is decorated beautfully [I would live there] and has so many extras [grill, beach toys, golf cart, etc.]. I would recommend it highly. The Conch Cafe across the street is a great place to eat and the Garden City pier is about a mile away. The owner is always so nice and helpful. We look forward to staying there again. Oceanside Village has a great family-oriented atmosphere, too.
