We'd stay here again.

Dan’s place is a hidden gem! The apartment was perfect for my husband, me and two sons (6 and 7) and on a hot weekend, it cooled down quick inside. The location was in a good neighborhood and about 15-20 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. Dan was very communicative and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

This is a no frills garage apartment in the heart of Decatur. It’s not fancy, but has everything a couple or three person family needs. Close to Stone Mountain. If you want to be near Atlanta, but don’t want to deal with the traffic and crowds and noise all the time, this is the perfect place!

Clean, well maintained. Great hosts. Awesome spot for anyone staying in Atlanta.

The location is good, however the entrance to the property was hard to find at night. The kitchen is well stocked.

I wish I’d had a place like this when I was in college. Small, one-bedroom with a sitting room and a spacious full kitchen. It’s right on the main drag, walkable to Downtown Decatur (if you like walking like I do!) but drivable to I-20. It’s older and is in the process of getting upgraded, but it has what you need for a cozy home away from home. We rented for the parent orientation at Agnes Scott...perfect home base for the 2 of us while getting our Scottie settled in. I slept so well those 2 days! Don’t be scared of the one window AC unit...it’s enough to keep it comfortable in the dog days of August. Got to meet the owner as he popped by to make sure we were getting settled all right. Next time I need to visit Decatur for a couple of days I would definitely rent again!

Second time staying here- well definitely be back. Daniel is a very attentive host, making sure we had all the info needed to check in. Very personable!

I had a great stay. It was a little unclean and I’d advise Dan to get a pest control person in. Other than that, loved the place.

This is a great place to stay in the Atlanta area. We will certainly be back when the time is right.

Perfect!

Lovingly presented with little touches like various apparatus for preparing the perfect cup of coffee, super-soft towels, a selection of adult books and children's books and games. It was quiet, convenient, clean, cosy and comfortable! It was a working week for us so we spent most of our time in the apartment--we stayed there right after moving out of our house in the neighborhood while our daughter finished up school. When we come back to Atlanta to visit friends, we will definitely try to book it again!

We truly enjoyed the property we rented from Daniel (the owner). Our stay was 10 days long, and I wish we could have stayed longer...The home is fantastic with a huge back yard (birds and squirrels included). One of the most peaceful retreats hidden away, but yet in the middle of an area where you can easily access shopping for your needs. Daniel is a very wonderful person and very quick to make sure that we had all we needed during the stay. We cooked our meals in comfort and enjoyed the moments we shared. We couldn't ask for a better property owner. The great thing is he refunded our deposit in full and stayed in close contact with us if we had any questions. We will be staying with him again in the near future. I even forgot a picture our daughter drew, and one of my belts...and he offered to mail them to me. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Very easy to find and right by the interstate! close to a lot of stuff which is always nice.. We were in town for a braves game and we were just minutes away from the stadium. It was a good sized apartment, the bed was super comfortable. Full kitchen and bath was nice to have. Large yard. I would recommend this place!
