We are relocating to the area and needed a place to call home for a week while looking at houses and familiarizing ourselves with the area. This house was so affordable and made the full week trip so much more manageable. Our favorite things: -GREAT starter supply of coffee, paper towels, condiments, etc... so I didn't have to rush to the store on day 1. -We used all 3 beds (not the trundles) and they were all SO comfortable! All 4 of us commented about how great we slept. -Nice location, central and close to college. We really didn't notice the street noise at all. -CLEAN! We spilled some water on the floor and wiped up with a paper towel and it was cleaner than my floor at home for sure! - We enjoyed sitting on the sun porch and reading. -Owner was very communicative and helpful -Always felt safe here and it was surprisingly private with great window coverings as needed. Things to keep in mind: -It is fairly small, one bathroom with an accordion style door that you have to work a little with in order to make it fully close. -Take your time pulling in and out of the driveways - they are a little bumpy. I read comments about it being like "Grandma's house" - not sure if those were facetious or not but I would say it was like visiting Grandma's in a NICE way... comfy, eclectic and we had exactly what we needed! We will be recommending this cottage to any of our visiting friends and family!

Cute little grandma's cottage. Yes, it's older but has a great cozy warmth. Bed in master was super comfortable and the bedding was perfect. It was great to just walk in and feel at home. We stayed in March, so it was winter, snowy. It was wonderful to have ice melt right out the back door! The only thing I'd recommend is putting a regular door between the front porch and livingroom and on the bathroom. We greatly enjoyed our stay and, if needed, will stay again!

We were here to visit friends, ski pebble creek and go to the lava hot springs. We were only in the property to sleep. Master bed is a double bed. That worked because we were cold and liked to snuggle. I personally prefer a larger bed. Property is old and has a lot of personal effects around. This didn't bother us as we only came home late to sleep and left early in the morning. The location worked very well for us. The property has plenty of parking, was easy to bring our dog into and has plenty of items to accommodate someone spending more time in the house. It feels like the owner might spend time there when it is not rented, as there was food in the fridge/freezer and plenty of dry goods and items in the cupboards. Very reasonably priced. thank you!

Great little cottage, super cute and cozy. Goid location as well. Internet would come and go but otherwise it was perfect!

The cottage was perfect for myself and my mom along with our two little dogs. It is very homey and cozy. Only complaint would be the internet, we never got through a movie without interruptions, which wasn't the end of the world. We would definitely stay again!

I was really impressed with Lyndas place! I was really impressed with how spotless the place was and the fully functional kitchen which has all you need. I was very comfortable and felt safe for my two week stay. I was surprised the traffic noise didn't bother me much at all with nice blackout curtains and noise machine by bed. No noisy neighbors and nice sun room to have your coffee that warms up nice on sunny winter days. Walk to downtown and stores if you don't mind a little walk. The place feels very warm and almost like going back to mom's house for a break but you have it all to yourself. Excellent price and value !

Always a great place to stay. Lynda is very easy to communicate with and so friendly. I always try to stay here when I visit.

The property was cozy and felt kind of like being at Grandma's. Nice big kitchen with lots of amenities. Plenty of seating for visiting or watching TV. Shower was nice and roomy and there were plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable but the double in the room with the other singles is definitely just for a single sleeper. The host was wonderful to work with and responded quickly. There was a bit of street noise but the host provided a sound machine for sleeping and that really helped. Overall, it worked really well for us and I would stay there again.

Property is in a nice location. Close to ISU, easy access to interstate and main street. Host was very accommodating and the amenities were fantastic in the kitchen and bath. Definitely would stay again.

I liked the patio with a canopy cover. Private parking. All you would need to fix meals. Plenty of extras as far as spices go. Frig even had condiments. Lively décor.

I always stay here when I come to Pocatello. Mainly because it’s close to where my family lives but also because Lynda is a great host and is always so accommodating.

Totally relaxing spot and the little market two blocks away was remarkable: friendly people work there and the food, especially the grab and go, was delicious.

My mom, sister and I needed to meet in Pocatello and did not want to stay in a hotel. This property was everything that we could have asked for. Comfortable both inside and out. We sat at night outside and were very comfortable cooking meals and hanging out inside as well. The beds were very comfortable, and Lynda was quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our 2nd time staying at the cottage and it was just as amazing as the 1st! This cottage is in a great central location, so easy to get anywhere you want to go! We highly recommend this location for any vacation needs!

We totally enjoyed our stay. It was easy to find. The only fall back was there is a lot of traffic.

Everything looks clean, smells clean, and IS clean. Lynda takes very good care of this property and is truly a sacred space. Such a wonderful area and is centrally located to everything.

We came to town to scout it for a possible retirement home. The cottage was a perfect location and close to everything we wanted to see. The owner was very friendly & accommodating, we would stay here again.

This cottage was perfect for my Christmas visit home! The ability to bring my dog was amazing, Lynda was very accommodating with my dog. Communication was very easy and if I had any questions she was available to answer. I definitely look forward to renting this property again!

Very cozy, great location to ISU, big tv with Amazon & Netfix

Bathroom was extremely small. Surrounding yard was not attractive. Old home trying to look bright and updated but missing the mark.

My 1212-year-old son and I enjoyed three nights at the cottage. It's dog friendly so we wished we had our pups there. Next time! The house is very homey and owner. Lynda, is very accommodating. I left off one star for location only because it is on a main intersection so it was a little loud in the a.m. But it was very centrally located and had character which was what we were looking for! We recommend Lynda's cottage!

This was our second stay and it does not disappoint. The improvements to the bathroom were well done, too! Clean, comfortable, and great location. Love being able to have the dogs with us, too. Thank you!

Cute, comfortable cottage. Bright and cheerful. Small bathroom but lots of room in bedroom for storage. Only problem was very rough, narrow driveways. Hostess supplied many niceties.

Really enjoyed my stay at your house. It was perfect, and I appreciated the extras such as goodies in the refrig, and coffee that I didn't have to bring or purchase. It perfectly fit my needs, I was really comfortable and able to work when I wasn't at the tournament. I will look to reserve it again in a couple of years when state wrestling returns to Pocatello.

The location of this property was perfect for our track meet at Holt Arena. Parking was easy, and we felt central to everything. Owner was very easy to work with, and she had lots of extra touches we appreciated - fruit, bread, candy waiting for us. Well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. It’s an older house. It was sometimes tricky to find outlets, and the lights weren’t great - all fluorescent. The only other thing to be aware of is you might be a bit uncomfortable sharing this outside of family...there aren’t doors to close off the room with the two twin beds, and the bathroom door is like a slatted closet door, so there isn’t a lot of privacy. The master bedroom had a sliding barn-type door. That room did stay wonderfully dark in the morning when the curtains were pulled closed, so sleeping in was easy. I would stay here again with family.

Best place, amazing rental management and hospitality!

We had excellent communication with Lynda. The cost is probably pretty appropriate for the space. We did struggle with what we felt to be a less than desirable arrangement in the bathroom. The shower is extremely small. A large person would have difficulty. Also, the door to the bathroom is a louvered door that gives only minimal privacy. We did sleep quite well. The house is near the university, but at a very busy intersection.

Excellent communication. Cottage had all amenities one could need. In town but private feeling.
