This house is located in a perfect spot for ocean views and cool breezes. Our vacation was cut short unfortunately one of our dogs became very ill and we had to rush home after a couple of days. Hopefully, we’ll be able to come back and visit.

Comfortable home in lovely location. Wonderful veranda and closed-in sun room to enjoy !! Quiet neighbourhood and easy access to beach (for walking and exploring). Gorgeous sunsets. Everything you expect to enjoy on a holiday in Maine !

Great spot. See water one way but get the breezes from both east and west. Great porches in and out. Beds are fine. Ate at ericas and dolphin marina..recommend both. Hope to return next summer

This is our fifth stay at the "Toy House," as my girls dubbed this Potts Point gem several years ago. We keep coming back for the comfort and at-ease-ness we feel here, and how close it is to all the fun Harpswell has to offer! Thank you, Molly and family, for sharing your home with us!

Our third stay at Molly’s wonderful house. Everything about it suits us. We love unwinding on the porch and in the hammock and digging out the old fisher price collection for the kiddos. Sunsets and tide pools and seaglass in the quiet of the neighborhood makes for the perfect Maine summer trip. Thank you for sharing your special house with us!

Third year renting here, with more years to come.
While we were there the area experienced unusually strong thunderstorms, which lead to county-wide power outages (owner was wonderful keeping us updated). But you know you've found a very special place when your whole family still has an amazing time (even a moody preteen without wifi!)

cute cottage near the water. my only complaint was the rules on the garbage during checkout. we were expected to carry the garbage and recyclables a few miles to the local transfer station. unfortunately, it was closed on the last 2 days of our visit.

Last minute long weekend getaway with the kids. It was absolutely perfect! Cottage had everything anyone could need or want and was very clean and welcoming. Truly felt like home away from home! Absolutely loved the short walk to Potts Point Preserve where we were so lucky to witness a breathtaking sunset. Was a short and scenic drive to the Desert of Maine in Freeport, which was a great time as well! Can’t wait to do it again next year! Best part for me, as a busy mom with 3 kids, was getting to sit in the lovely glassed in porch and read a book - dream come true!

Very quiet area this time of year. It was super peaceful with little to no traffic. If you want to unplug from city living it is a great place. The sunroom is comfortable. TV is just DVD's, so you need to be ready for quiet or really like movies. Great views even in the fog. Have a rental car and be ready to drive. Best stop is Pammy's for Ice Cream...nicest people in the world own this little shop down the street.

Sisters and friends get together every year at this time. Wonderful location. We walked to Pott's Point, ate lobster rolls AND cooked lobster. People so friendly. Cottage clean and we loved both the front porch and the sunny screened porch for our morning coffee. Lovely!

Very well appointed cottage, close to water access in lovely area of Harpswell, ME. Lots to see and do nearby (kids will be happy on the nearby beach and the cottage has toys, games and videos.) Adults can enjoy local preserve trails, boat ramp is close, or just sit on the lovely front porch and relax. Several local eating places or everything necessary to prepare meals onsite. Perfect spot from which to experience the Maine coast.

Perfect for families who want to slow down and relax on vacation. The cottage is so welcoming and very comfortable - it’s like staying at a old friend’s house. One day the biggest decision was where to relax - rocking on the porch, swinging in the hammock, or lounging in the sunroom (this tired mom managed to enjoy all 3!). Especially appreciate all the toys, games and puzzles - perfect for a rainy day - kept the kids occupied (with no arguing) all day! The area is perfect for exploring - we spent a few hours at Potts Point and Seaglass Beach. Thank you for sharing such a special place. We will be back soon - wish we hadn’t stayed away so long!

This was our family’s second stay at Molly’s sweet cottage. It has been maintained very well over its many years, and provides the perfect setting for a weeklong getaway in one of our favorite places. We would love to return again, soon!

This was our 4th year at Pott's Point and we loved every minute of it! The cottage is very comfortable for our family of 4, and remained so when my parents stayed for two nights. We love using the cottage as a home base to explore Harpswell, but also as our home away from home, enjoying the cozy, traditional feel, the well stocked kitchen, and the porches with their exceptional views! Molly as always was attentive and helpful. We'll be back in '24!!

We like to cook when we are together and the kitchen had all we needed to help put together what we had brought with us. The porch was our go to place. Lovely, even in the rain.

This is a very special cottage that combines the authentic Maine cottage feeling of the past with the convenience of more modern comforts in the kitchen. There is a great view of the water from the front porch, and a light and airy sunroom that brings the outside inside. The location is close to rocky beaches, and not too far from delightful shopping experiences. We loved it!

This was our third visit to Molly's delightful family home. We look to stay in charming, unfussy and classic homes wherever we go, and this lovely, homey cottage fits the bill. We love exploring the area, finding new beaches, delicious food trucks and snack shacks, and short hikes to do with the kiddies. Speaking of, our children won't let us stay anywhere else, they just love the "toy house!" Thank you for opening your doors to us Vermonters!

This charming house with a beautiful, remote location was such a wonderful place to unwind. With a fishing pier nearby and gorgeous views on long beach walks, this was amazing. Molly's place was clean, cozy, and cannot forget to mention the oceanview sunroom. Cannot wait to return.

Couldn't have asked for a better location. It was extremely windy due to a hurricane east of Maine bound for Canada but that's not the fault of the cottage. The puzzels were great! The beds were comfortable. We didn't spend much time in the cottage as we were in town for a wedding.

Perfect !!! Comfortable, incredible location. We had an eagle soar by in the morning. Neighbors very friendly Beds comfortable Well stocked with linens, towels and kitchen gear. Great place !!!

Great little cottage right in a great location. Cottage was exactly as described and location was perfect. Walking distance to the Point and Potts Reserve which was a highlight of our stay. Will definitely come again.

Great views of the water. Fun to walk on the beach at the end of the street at low tide. Needed to drive about 20 minutes for any services. (Except for the great ice cream stand that was 10 minutes away!)

Beautiful location
Great week in S. Harpswell. The cottage was cozy and comfortable. We loved reading on the front porch with view of the ocean. It was great having Pott's Point within a short walk. Great for finding beautiful beach rocks. Kitchen well stocked with what we needed for cooking, etc. Would definitely like to return!

Pottery and yarn shopping
This property allows us to do day trips to pottery shops and yarns shops out of our home area. We also enjoy the town of Damariscotta for lots of shopping and eating! Miles Thrift Shop is also a great spot. This property is very comfortable with a great sunroom and front porch. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors.

House and location were charming. Felt like we were out in the ocean. Lilacs we’re in bloom and air was so fragrant. Beach at end of road was cool. Didn’t get to sea glass beach. Would love to return with more time one night is not enough.

We stayed for the weekend with friends and really enjoyed the area and the awesome porch.
We'd rent again here for sure! Thank you for sharing your home. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the sheets, blankets, and pillows. They were clean, but looking pretty old.

Great place to stay in Maine!
My husband and I had a great time staying at this cozy little beach property in Harpswell! It’s actually huge in person, and the sun room is incredible. We loved the porch and how friendly everyone was! Definitely recommend!

Comfort with character
Molly and Marcus were excellent hosts and the online description is spot on. While the cottage shows some signs of its age, this translates mostly to an abundance of character. The outside space and sunroom were our favorites—nice attention to lighting in the latter (night and day), and the front porch and side yard offered comfortable seating, a hammock, badminton and fire pit for a very relaxing stay. We’d book again.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a bit confusing as to which side of the street the house was on., but otherwise it was exactly as described. We can’t wait to go back again!

Adorable home with ocean views
What a fantastic house! My friends and I loved having drinks on the porch and watching the boats in the bay. The only complaint we really had was not having a store nearby (no fault of the house or owner!) If you plan to stay here make sure you hit the grocery store in Brunswick before you head down. We did not rent a car so getting anything was tough. However, instalation DOES deliver with a $5 distance fee.
