Quel belle demeure et quel calme au milieu de la nature.... Nous avons passé de merveilleux moments en famille dans cette propriété où rien ne manque. Merci à Thérèse et Didier pour leur accueil chaleureux. Un délicieux gâteau au chocolat ... des jus de fruits ... des oeufs frais du poulailler... et même des peluches sur les lits de mes petites-filles ! Beaucoup de jeux à disposition pour tous et un immense terrain de pétanque qui à fait le bonheur des jeunes... Un intérieur propre et soigné, une bonne literie... et une grande gentillesse de la part de Thérèse et Didier pour que "leurs" vacanciers ne manquent de rien !! Une maison accueillante et chaleureuse pour de très bonnes vacances en famille. De plus idéalement située dans le Luberon pour visiter les villages incontournables de la région sans trop de kilomètres. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil.

We really enjoyed our stay. Didier and Therese were very kind and lovely and organized a small pool for our 3-years-old child. We loved to sit in the garden. There were lots of games and bicycles and a big place for playing boule. Furthermore I've never seen such a well equipped kitchen in a vacation home. If you want to buy something for breakfast, the boulangerie in Bonnieux makes delicous baguettes and croissants. You will reach them in 5 minutes by car. I can highly recommend this big house!

Nous avons logés chez Didier et Thérèse lors d'un passage dans le Luberon pour un mariage, et avons adoré notre séjour. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et attentionnés, et la maison très confortable et calme. Nous recommandons chaudement !

Le séjour à Bonnieux s'est agréablement bien passé. Parfait accueil lors de mon arrivée par Thérèse qui a pleins de bons conseils pour profiter au maximum de la région. La maison est magnifique et très fournis pour tous les loisirs. Je recommande cette maison pour 8 personnes !

Le gîte de Didier et Thérèse est très bien situé, les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables et chaleureuses, les équipements de la cuisine ne manquent pas et le salon de jardin permet de profiter pleinement du calme du lieu.

Nous avons passé 5 semaines dans cette belle maison. Nous avons apprécié l'extrême gentillesse des propriétaires et le soin apporté à leur maison si agréable à vivre. On se sent chez soi. Tout fonctionne bien: appareils ménagers, vaisselle de choix, tout est pensé pour simplifier la vie… La région est si belle, si riche en possibilités culturelles. Nous avons aussi sillonné les routes du Lubéron à vélo avec beaucoup de plaisir. De nombreuses pistes cyclables rendent les balades agréables et de nombreux circuits sont aussi proposés aux amateurs de vélo. Bref, que du plaisir!

The house is one of our favorites. It is the best equipped of all that we have rented, especially the kitchen, but every need was taken care of. The location is also superb, not far from Bonnieux or from the highway D900, which we used all the time, traveling between our favorite towns. And the owners, the nicest, friendliest and helpful we have ever met. This house is a favorite of ours.

My husband and I were lucky to be able to spend a week at Le Mourre de Sambec. It is located on a large property close to the beautiful town of Bonnieux and the house is spectacular. Didier and Therese have made the home so comfortable and welcoming. Attention to detail was everywhere from the decorating to the beautiful dishes and linens. We enjoyed cooking most of our meals at home as the kitchen is very well outfittted and also a great place to hang out in. A beautiful and very functional wood burning fireplace made the sitting room cosy on chilly evenings. The bedrooms are all large and very comfortable. And then the property! We so enjoyed hanging out with the donkeys, Tartin and Tartine, and loved the fresh eggs supplied by the chickens. There is lots of room to roam on the property and it would be a great place for children with the swing, ladder up into one of the trees and plenty of room to run. Sitting out on the front and enjoying the quiet while sipping a local wine was the perfect way for us to relax after a busy day rock climbing at Buoux or sightseeing in the area. Didier and Therese are fantastic hosts, ensuring that we had everything that we needed. The tasty lemon cake, bottle of wine and fresh eggs were a beautiful welcome. Thank you! We wish we had more time to spend at Le Mourre and look forward to our next visit.

Had an excellent stay as a family group of 8. We all enjoyed relaxing in front of the house and playing boules, table tennis and table football. The hosts were very kind and attentive to our needs. The kitchen is large enough for family dining, and cosy and well equipped. All found the house comfortable and charming.

From the time we arrived to the time we left Didier and Therese were the most wonderful and helpful hosts. The property is amazing and is situated in the most beautiful countryside with flawless views to every side. The house contained everything you could possibly need and more besides. We were there with our daughter, son in law and three grandchildren aged 14, 9 and 7. The barn contained so many activities from toys to table tennis and also bicycles for all ages (which saved the family the hire costs ) . Didier had also put up an inflatable pool which the children could play in. They also loved to visit the two donkeys and chickens on the property. We were in Provence for my son’s wedding so had family calling on us at various times and we just loved sitting with them all in the garden. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay and can’t wait to return. Thank you Didier and Therese for your extra special way in which you made us so welcome in Provence.

Nach einem herzlichen Empfang durch die Vermieter im wunderschönen Bauernhaus haben wir und unsere Kinder uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, alles ist sauber und sehr gepflegt. Wir haben viel Tischtennis gespielt und tolle Ausflüge mit den vorhandenen Fahrrädern unternommen. Unsere Kinder liebten die beiden Esel und jeden morgen gab es frische Eier von den freilaufenden Hühnern. Der Aufenhalt von einer Woche verging in dieser traumhaften Gegend wie im Flug. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. In der Provence gibt es so viel zu entdecken...

We have been lucky to stay at this property for a week last fall and another eleven nights now (April, 2018). It is simply the best vacation rental we have ever had in France. And that includes many, many rentals over the years. The house works well and provides for every need: excellent washer AND separate dryer, dishwasher, cooking facilities and supplies, bathrooms, beds. The location is spectacular, with magnificent views. The rural setting is beautiful and tranquil. The six hens provide great entertainment, with their welcoming ways. Most of all, the owners, Didier and Therese are very wondeful people, warm and determined to solve any problem. We’ve only ever encountered one problem: the internet had a glitch when we arrived this time. They could have easily given up on this, but went to great lengths to solve the problem, even while in the midst of a family 100th birthday celebration! These are the kind of people anyone would be lucky to have as friends. We are now trying to plan some trip to France just so that we can lease this beautiful house again! Thank you, Therese and Didier for sharing your beautiful home, and for your amazing hospitality!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce très beau mas de mr et mme Hugues. Notre hôte est charmante, disponible et pleine de bons conseils sur cette région. Le mas est une vraie maison familiale, rien ne manque. Il y a même une grange pleine de trésors pour les enfants ainsi que piscine et balançoire et en bonus, deux ânes et des poules! Bref, un endroit parfait que nous avons partagé à deux familles avec des enfants en bas âge. Nous ne pouvons que recommander!

Imagine yourself as the heat of the day is gently coaxed away by a cool breeze that accompanies dusk every evening. Dining al fresco, enjoying all the delicious culinary treats Provence has to offer or have a local chef prepare dinner for you as a special treat. As the sun sets, Lacoste and Bonnieux begin to twinkle on the nearby hilltops as the stars emerge and you reminisce about yet another wonderful day creating unforgettable memories visiting exquisite villages and natural wonders which are all close-by. Rest in comfortable beds and enjoy the distant sounds of cicadas which lull you to sleep. And then as dawn creeps into this sleepy valley, and unsure if you are still dreaming, you see yourself swanning about each morning in a kitchen so new it gleams, only to cook breakfast using fresh eggs from the resident hens. Just as you pinch yourself, you find that you have the kindest of hosts who welcome you and cater for you like their own family and ensure every guest feels at home here. This is what dreams are made of and we will never forget our stay here and the kindness and warmth from our beautiful hosts, Therese, Didier and Roger. Eve, Matt and the children :-)

Das Haus liegt ein paar Kilometer von Bonnieux entfernt inmitten einer wunderschönen Landschaft mit Blick auf den Luberon. Von der Terrasse aus kann man Bonnieux und Lacoste sehen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert. Das gesamte Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, vor allem die Kücheneinrichtung ist sehr neuwertig und lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Die Vermieter waren nett, hatten zur Ankunft Apfelkuchen gebacken und unseren Kindern einen kleine Pool mit Rutsche aufgebaut. Wir haben uns in diesem Hause unglaublich wohl gefühlt und werden sicher nochmal wieder kommen.

We just loved this place! The house was spacious, clean, light - 4 full bedrooms and 2 full baths with great showers. The kitchen was a dream - we prepared several meals there with food we bought in town and at the local markets. As another reviewer mentioned, everything was very high quality, from the appliances down to the cutlery...I wanted to stay forever! It is so peaceful - I have never seen that many stars at night! We did not meet the owner Didier, but we communicated by text and telephone with no problem. Roger, who I believe lives on the premises, was there to welcome us and show us around the home. We found it with no problem using Google Maps (not sure that we would have otherwise...). We wanted a remote spot to get away, but somewhere that would be a good start for day trips around the area. Perfect! Except that we loved the town of Bonnieux so much that we didn't want to go anywhere else! All the local people were friendly and helpful, and there are great restaurants there. We especially loved l'Arome. We did make several day trips, to L'Isle sur la Sorgue (a nice town but it was pouring rain so we didn't really get to do much), Lourmarin, Menerbes and Lacoste....all very close and all charming. We loved the Friday market in Bonnieux - a great spot to pick up last-minute souvenirs and gifts, like handmade soaps, lavender sachets, gorgeous olive wood spoons, cutting boards, etc., delicious food items, and of course local cheese, bread and vegetables. We visited several wineries and tasting rooms in the area....All of us are wine lovers, and we were amazed at the value of the local wine...so delicious and so inexpensive! So yes, we loved it all! Next time we will definitely stay longer...five days in heaven was not nearly enough!

Cette ferme qui a appartenue a la meme famille pour six generations a une ame. On se sent tout de suite chez soi. La propriete a gardee tout son carcatere tout en repondant aux besoins de notre vie moderne. La grande cuisine est tres bien amenagee ainsi que la salle de sejour avec sa grande cheminee qui nous rechauffe quand le soirees sont fraiches. Ce mas est situe au milieu des vignobles, des champs de coquelicots et des champs de lavande qui l'on voit bleuir un peu plus de jour en jour. Bonnieux est a 5 kilometres et on peut voir le soir les lumieres qui s'allument une par une sur la colline. Tout autour les montagnes du Luberon nous offrent un spectacle qui change du matin avec la brume et le soir avec le soleil couchant qui enflame les collines. De nombreux petits villages pittoresques sont a decouvrir anisi que les marches provencaux. Ce mas est spacieux. C'est un paradis pour ceux qui cherchent la serenite. Les proprietaires sont extremement acueillants et font tout ce qui est necessaire pour rendre votre sejour memorable. J'espere bien y revenir.

After arriving in France we spent five nights in Paris before training to Avignon, picking up a car and driving towards Bonnieux. We had made our selection long before coming to France. This property was nicely situated in the countryside but still in walking distance to Bonnieux. We were not disappointed. As we drove up to this magnificent house we were greeted by a smiling and generous host. Not only was there a welcoming basket including bread, fruit, wine and beer, but the property far exceeded our expectations. We even had our first evening meal prepared for us. It was spotlessly clean and roomy with a modern kitchen, laundry etc. Great attention to detail has been made, with high quality furnishing, linen,crockery and cutlery. The kitchen was a dream to work in, with a brand new stove and oven. Our stay from mid-spring to early summer allowed us to see this amazing area transform. We watched lavender fields burst into flower, vineyards go from budding to full growth and cherries ripen for the picking. Walking up the lane in the evenings to pick cherries and look at the lavender was a highlight. We walked all around Bonnieux, visited all the surrounding hill top villages and local markets. There were two quality vineyards within a few kilometres of the house. Coustellet's market each Sunday was a highlight. This property is so special that we soon felt at home and really did begin to feel that it was our very own. All four bedrooms are large with outstanding views up to Bonnieux. It was truly a stay of a lifetime, something very special to us and something we will never forget and cherish forever. While there we welcomed four groups of friends who stayed from two days to two weeks. They too loved this property, it's tranquility and it's open surroundings. We really can't speak too highly of this great house and it's owners.

Un endroit ou le temps s'arrête, la Paix et la sérénité sont au rendez vous... Pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis devant un champs et une vue sur Bonnieux.. Le repos, les balades,le marché. Le soir le Château du Marquis de Sade à Lacoste nous regarde tout illuminé, que du bonheur.... La propriétaire est une femme adorable nous avons l'impression d'être chez nous.
