We met another family at this location and we had the best time. It was perfect!

Easy process to rent. Worked well for my family. We had a wonderful time there.

The house was at a great location .really steep steps to get to rooms . Not enough towels in the whole house to accommodate 13 people. Plus toilet paper . The dishes were very old and some were just nasty . Had to go to Walmart to buy pots and pans to cook with we were there from Wednesday to Sunday morning. Saturday morning the water started to smell like Rotten eggs . Unfortunately nobody was able to bath that day or night. Plus didn’t really like all the little notes on walls and doors not to eat in rooms etc . Plus we had to strip all the beds and pile the sheets and comforters separately before we left . House rule . ( what they don’t have a cleaning crew … SMH )

Spent the weekend of my 80th birthday at this home with family. Close to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center and Dinosaur Valley State Park. No problems and everything worked out fine.

The pictures are misleading, there are 2 sets of stairs inside the house. Basement leave access to 2 bedrooms with one bathroom and upstairs the rest of the rooms and restrooms. There is not a bedroom on the main level, but there is a half bath. There was multiple things broken that was not disclosed until we arrived, the house sleeps 17 but there was not enough utensil for everyone, only eleven forks. We ran out of toilet paper, they don’t stock enough, there was tape on doors that said no food in certain rooms and no food or drink in other, but some rooms had no tape signs. There are rock stairs leading down to the water that is not pictured. So if you want to go anywhere on the property besides the living room, dining room, kitchen or upstairs patio you have to use stairs. When we booked we were told that fireworks were OK but there is a burn ban now in the county and only for inside of the city limits of Granbury were fireworks banned. The house is outside city limits. However the homeowner told me on the first day that we could not do fireworks because the neighborhood decided to not do fireworks due to the burn ban. We complied and never did fireworks however all the neighbors on Sunday night decided to do fireworks which is kind of upsetting that they did the fireworks and we were told we couldn’t do them because the neighborhood decided not to but yet they are they are doing fireworks. She even went to the point to tell us if we did fireworks that the neighbors would call her. The outside area by the ping-pong table was very messy, everything was thrown everywhere never organized in a very neat way for a vacation home. The dock need several Repairs, there are nails sticking out, the border is falling off and the latter is just tied to the dock it’s a hardware ladder. Overall however we did have a good time, but I definitely would not rent this home again.

Plenty of room for our group and quick drive to the town square! Comfy beds and nice upper deck. Fun weekend on the lake!

There was something for all ages to do. We had10 adults and 6 kids. Loved having different areas of the house to hang. Everyone really enjoyed the paddle boats. We rented a pontoon boat and had a good time on the water. Plenty of games, kids and adults loved playing ping pong and air hockey. Loved sitting out in the deck watching the sun come up and in hanging out in the evening.

Plenty of sleeping space and great outdoor Patio. Close to Downtown Granbury

First off driving up cutest house on the block. All the touches of home. Party lights welcomed us home each night on the front porch. Great communication with the owner. All essentials provided. Great location from Granbury. Quiet area. Local grocery, gas and dollar store close by. Though we didn't use any, there were many outdoor activities available at the home. Back porch coffee in the morning looking out on the lake, priceless. Grateful and blessed you shared your home with us.

Our family (9 adults and 2 babies) enjoyed Christmas at Sunrise Court. House was perfect! Can’t ask for a more convenient location! Host was easy to contact. Will definitely visit again!

The house accomodated 5 couples very well. It was spacious enough for us all to move freely. No real issues with cleanliness. The house was well stocked, even though it didn't have an iron which we had to purchase during our stay. Access to the house was bit challenging due to the key box being difficult to get into and needing the host to assist. The grounds were beautiful. The back deck and front porch was lovely to sit and enjoy the views. We would certainly visit the house again and Granbury, we enjoyed the town.

The property is beautiful and the views from the balcony are amazing. They have cornhole, ping pong, air hockey, and access to outdoor water equipment for the lake which was all really nice. They also had charger blocks for your phone, which was also a nice touch. However the sleeping arrangement was very misleading. The trundle bed as they called it was a hospital bed with just a mattress placed below on the floor, and the pull out couch as they called it was just a pad under some couch cushions, I wouldn't call it a bed. This may work for a younger crowd that doesn't mind sleeping wherever, but for us , we had 9 people who ranged from 30 to 65 in age and it was not the most comfortable sleep. We also ran out of toilet paper and saw quite a few bugs. It did rain the day we came, so maybe that had something to do with it, I'm not sure. Overall we had a great time, I just think the sleeping arrangements were misleading.

We had a wonderful time, very relaxing. The paddle boats made it possible to get on the lake and the guys caught a nice size catfish. The home was clean and well stocked, very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Beautiful view of the lake. We will definitely book another trip to this location again.

This was my favorite vacation in years. The view was amazing and the house was great. We hope to come back to this home again.

The kids loved the bunk beds and air hockey table (plus their own personal mini fridge) and we all loved having plenty of space for everyone! The super comfy bed in the master added an extra dose of relaxation and we could even pop a bag of popcorn with the in room microwave for movie watching without the kiddos. We got a little spoiled with granite countertops and even found all we needed to do some cookie baking for Christmas. And Terry was a super fun host... even leaving shatterproof ornaments & bows to decorate the Christmas tree with. Most vacations are stressful with our big family but this one actually felt like I could relax a bit because there was so much to entertain the kids.

We enjoyed the great view of the lake and had allot of fun on the paddle boats. We also caught some fish right off the doc. The house was clean and had plenty of room. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed. Thank you again!

Great updated property and nice layout. The water level made it difficult to get our jetski to the boat dock. Lots of tree stumps in the water. Beautiful view and the owner was very responsive and very helpful.

Would def recxomwnf this lace to stay. Great place to stay.

We absolutely loved staying at this property! It was spacious, clean, plenty things to do with our teenagers, parking for several vehicles, and right on the water. We were totally blessed throughout our stay!

Inside pics were accurate and inside was fairly nice and clean...even though the owner wasn’t done cleaning until 1 hour past checkin time. Outside was super junky, with cobwebs and wasps...pics imply it’s a bit nicer than it really is. Boat dock is extremely difficult to get the boat to, due to amount of tree stumps in the water way. We got stuck 3 times. Overall it was just okay.

Our daughter and a few of her friends really enjoyed the weekend. With all that is happening we decided to forgo the big 16th party and just have a nice weekend at the lake. Great decision. The house was perfect with activities inside and out.

Fun place to stay on the water

We really enjoyed our experience. The kids loved the paddle boats and fishing off the dock. The house had been nicely updated. The water smells like well water, so it's not the most pleasant but we understand and it is something we are used to.

From the time we walked in we were constantly on the lookout for wasps INSIDE the house! Everyday we killed about 5-7 wasps! My children were terrified! I don’t believe all the tarps covering things that the owners are storing helps with all the critters. Also, the well water smell was so overwhelming, none of us were willing to bathe in that stench! We couldn’t even run the sink without someone gagging or getting grossed out! I think at least a warning or disclosures about that would help. Some people may be used to that rotten egg smell- we are NOT! Everything worked fine and it fit us well. We just couldn’t completely relax.

Everyone should visit Grandbury. Such a fun little town. The house has a great location and beautiful view. We are not a fan of stairs all the bedrooms are up stairs. Loved everything else.

Our ladies group enjoyed our weekend away here! Very clean interior. Nice proximity to the town square. Bathrooms and kitchen have been nicely updated. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, furniture and linens. Very cute home but aesthetics could use some TLC. We loved our outdoor time on the dock.

Arrived in Granbury at about 3.00pm. Phoned Terry and received directions and information for locating the key. On arrival house was sparkling clean and there were some very nice touches. Ideal for our needs. 4 Adults and 2 small children. Loved it and would book again if ever we return to Granbury. Alan and Trudi

I wish I could say that the stay was spectacular but unfortunately it was not. The front porch and back porch had at least 10 bee nests that you constantly have to pay attention to.  The part that made the experience the worst was the water in the house. The sulfur smell from the water was unbearable and unsanitary. This was not told to me beforehand which is very unprofessional.  We could not even shower without wanting to vomit. We had no sanitary running water the whole trip. I feel that with a "luxury" such as renting a vacation home, clean running water is a necessity. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of notice and wish I would have known because i would have went with another property and had a better time. After reaching out to gain assistance in regards to the situation, I was told by the owner that the water was disclosed in a note at the property. Unfortunately, that was not the case and even if it was, it is still unacceptable to have sulphur bacteria ridden water as it causes health concerns. He also said about the bees that he leaves bee spray at the property for the guests to handle the pests. No one wants to do that on their vacation. The fishing is not good off the dock unfortunately, your only luck is night fishing for catfish. I tried to gain resolution without posting a review which was a VERY lengthy process only to find out The owner denied my request to a refund. The owner was not even willing to provide a partial refund as he denied my claims. I would suggest another property.
