The hostel feels very comfortable, feels like you're living in an apartment and there is a living room area with a TV. Someone cleaned every day while I was there. Beautiful view on the rooftop terrace and from the kitchen window.

Only a fan heater in each room, it was pretty cold in November.

Cosy and welcoming, this place is set a little higher up from the main Nazaré shops and restaurants, but is still only a short distance to walk into town and to the beach. The view from the rooftop / kitchen is incredible! The staff are very kind and welcoming and the place feels like you’re coming into a home rather than a hostel!

Everything was great, the only thing is if you sleep with the window open there is a bit of noise from the street but if you have ear plugs like me it was one of the best sleeps I’ve had at a hostel!

Wagner and his wife were so delightful and the apartment was beautifully decorated to make it feel like a home!

The guest house is very very nice and Wagner (the host) is a very cool guy to talk to. The roof top terrace is amazing for having breakfast or watching the sun go down over the nearby hill. From our room and balcony we were even able to see the sea, which is a great plus. It was tiny but very well set up and lovely to stay in.

One small issue we had was that we only had cold water for our two-night stay but that was quickly fixed by Wagner once we told him about it. He was super responsive and eager to help anyway possible.

The owner was super nice and friendly, really nice and welcoming vibes! Easy to communicate with him. The apartment is super zen looking, beautiful living room to hang out and full equipped kitchen. Lockers are practical but a bit too small to fit our bags. Good location close to the beach and restaurants. Easy check-in and checkout. I would come back to use a private room with AC !

The top bunks had no curtains, so not as much privacy as the lower bunks. No AC : really hot at night, especially in the summer. Super noisy street, we had to sleep with the window wide open to get some air... but we are close to a main road. So we could hear the cars very loud at night and morning. If the dorm was for 4 people, we would have more room to put our luggage. My personal outlet couldn't fit more appliances than the provided light if you need an adapter. 1 bathroom for the whole apartment, expect some waiting time in the morning.

Where do I begin…The “guesthouse” is essentially a few bedrooms in an apartment on the top floor of a residential building. The door to the building is broken - just a hole with a rope through it. An hour before check-in, I received an email that no one would be able to meet me and they asked if they could send instructions on how to get in (instead of just sending them!). I didn’t have internet access so I had to go to the Tourist Office and ask for help. I emailed the property but didn’t receive a response after a half hour so they called on my behalf. After another hour of back and forth, I was finally able to get in (note, a staff member was actually in the apartment and could have let me in!). The key to the lock on my door was tricky - sometimes I could get in/out easily and sometimes it took me about 5 minutes. The walls are paper-thin; you can hear everything. Literally, everything. Someone started cutting bread or something at 1:30 in the morning in the kitchen next to my room and I could hear it (and it went on for 20 minutes)! People were in and out of the bathroom next to my room all night and it was loud. There is only a light white curtain over the window so you’re up when the sun comes up. The window is cracked. The room was very warm, but if I opened the balcony door for air, I could hear all of the neighbors watching TV, talking, spitting, etc. I slept about 3 hours. It was a terrible experience and I do not recommend.

I started in Nazare to do the Camino de Santiago. The host did a personalized selo for my pilgrim passport which I really appreciate. The place is so homey and everything I could ask for as a starting point. I wouldnt have extended my stay for another day, if it wasn't.iSafe location , very convenient to eating places, beach, grocery stores and to both the funicular and stairway to Sitìo Nazare.

Vibe of the hostel is amazing. You can just feel the love and effort the owner put in.

It was a little cold inside, but I think that is like that everywhere in Portugal now.
