Sehr charmantes altes Häuschen, das vielleicht zum Glück nicht neu renoviert ist. Schöne alte Möbel und Parkettböden. Traumhafter Blick auf den See und Richtung Varese.
Wohnung unter uns war nicht belegt (was noch einen Unterschied machen könnte).
Wir haben kurzfristig gebucht. So war die Heizung nicht angestellt. Einige Steckdosen gehen auch nicht. Fliegen in der Lampenschale.
In der Küche fehlen ein paar wenige Utensilien wie Espressotassen und Siebe (sonst aber gut ausgestattet)
Der Blick alleine kostet wahrscheinlich 100 CHF, wird bezahlt.

Fantastic location on Lake Lugano in beautiful Morcote village. Easy to access via train then bus, or just bus, house was warm, great bedrooms and kitchen, and fantastic view from living room and balcony. Host had great communication.
Quite a few stairs to get from bus stop to house if you have a lot of luggage, but host offered to pick us up if needed so no problem. Maybe leave a list for guests to know how heating, washing machine and computer/TV works. All explained by host but might be easier just to leave a note with instructions.

We loved the property, it was perfectly located, parking was easy. The views were amazing. We appreciated the complementary coffee that was provided. We would love to return and stay again!
We have no complaints, it was truly perfect and we took a lot of pictures to share with others. Thank you for the accommodation!

The location is unbeatable - stunning views of Morcote and the lake from every room. The photos online are very accurate and the place is clean and tidy. We loved Morcote, such a gorgeous village with some great restaurants. Unless you travel very light I recommend a car to get here, while there is public transport, it drops you off down in the village so that is a lot of steep stairs with suitcases! Also recommend buying food etc in a larger town before arriving as the local store has minimal supplies. Kitchen has an oven, hot plate, frodge etc and most utensils you might need if you want to eat in (and savour the views!).
Would be good to have some written instructions of how to use dishwasher, washing machine etc. We figured it out but we also weren't sure if the washing machine was available for our use or not as it's outside (and we're pretty sure the neighbours came and used it one day too which was confusing).

Great location, walking distance down to Morcote with some lovely restaurants. Amazing views all around the apartment. Friendly hosts. Everything you need!
A very slight musky smell when we arrived, but didn’t phase us as the views were spectacular and we had everything we needed.

location is spectacular. Photos on the Booking.com site are exactly how the property looks in real life. views over the lake are so beautiful and loved proximity to the lakefront promenade and the beautiful church (with its gorgeous views and the swing up top). Owner thought of everything in terms of outfitting the apartment for ease of living. free parking was so convenient.
recommend screens for windows and doors to allow cooling while keeping out bugs

The location of Casa al Sole was fantastic, very quiet and the lake view from the balcony and living room was awesome. There were a couple of neat palm trees next to the apartment which framed the view to the lake nicely. We especially loved that we could just walk an ancient beautiful walkway with steps to the Chiesa Santa Maria del Sasso (a beautiful old church with an amazing terrace old graveyard and wonderful views from up there to the lake and Morcote) from the apartment. So otherwordly and serene, it was just breathtaking. Morcote is a hidden gem away from the crowds and hectic life of Lugano.
We had a covered parking space not far from the apartment for our car which was awesome.
Internet connection/Wifi was excellent!
Bathroom was very nice and there was also a washer and dryer outside on the balcony.
Everything was clean and spacious.
Very nice and friendly hosts, but response times for questions were a little slow.
A second couch to sit on would have been great, especially if it is a family or more than 2 people.
It would have been nice if the outside area/vegetation would have been a little more tended to/looked after.

Very nice apartment in a very good location overlooking the lake and a stones throw from a beautiful church. Contact with the owner was straight forward and informative. Also a well laid out kitchen and good shower made this property all the more enjoyable to stay in. Highly recommended
We found the apartment very hot as we had 30 degrees plus whilst staying. The owner has dotted some fans around the place which make things slightly more comfortable. I don’t think Aircon is the solution due to environmental reasons but it would be great to have some mosquito nets fitted to some of the windows to help air out the place during the evening.

Beautiful location, nice interior and exterior. Despite the bad weather, we liked our vacation and would come back. The flat has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
