Clive and Therese were very accommodating with lots of little details that made a difference such as cookies, lego for the kids, some food already stocked for us. Very easy to leave the trailer close by. And a very friendly dog too! thanks for having us!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Clive and Teresa's cottage. The beautiful outdoor space and garden, comfortable beds and home made cookie treats all added to that gold -lined experience.

My niece got married in Sydney in October 2019 and we wanted a base for our family to visit for the wedding and spend time afterwards enjoying the beaches and attractions. The cottage was ideal for 4 adults and a 19 month old as it was all one one level and had an enclosed garden. it also had good amenities - wifi, netflix and apple tv as well as a well equipped kitchen, washing machine and deck with gas bbq. A travel cot and high chair were provided as well as children's cutlery and crockery, coolbags and garden and beach toys. The location was great - a quiet residential road near Manly Creek 30 minutes walk to the beach and local restaurants and cafes. 10 minutes away from a supermarket and the fast B-Line buses to the city or Northern beaches. We used the Manly Ferry most days to reach the city and Watsons Bay and didn't need a car as the public transport was so good and cheap compared with London prices. The owners lived at the front of the plot and were very accommodating, giving us early access on our arrival and allowing us to leave cases at the property on our last day as our flights weren't until 10pm. A great place to stay to enjoy Sydney and the surrounding area

Beautiful cottage in a great location. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy Manly beachside but have all of Sydney’s offerings on your door step. The cottage was very cosy and the kids enjoyed playing in the garden area. Highly recommend this property and Clive and Therese were great hosts.

I have stayed in many residences in Australia and overseas however this was my top pick. My daughter & I stayed at this cosy, private and delightful cottage that exudes a relaxing ambience and I did not want to leave. It had everything we required and more. Stacks of extra linen & blankets, loads of hanging space, and drawers, fully equipped kitchen, great heating options and the rooms are spacious. So clean it sparkled. Clive and Terese were fantastic, friendly hosts and Leila the dog, was adorable. The well maintained garden with its foliage and extra seating areas was beautiful. Excellent location and very quiet. I'm definitely returning to this beauty. Thank you Clive and Terese.

We loved our stay at Sunshine cottage. Had everything we needed, close to shops and local facilities and a quick Uber to Manly wharf to catch the ferry. Our kids loved being in a home environment and having outdoor space to play in was great.

We had a marvellous stay. The house is extremely well equipped, beautifully decorated and in a peaceful location with eastbound access to Manly and Sydney by foot and public transport . Fantastic!

My family and I loved our stay in the Manly Sunshine Cottage. It was beautifully decorated, well-stocked with quality items, and was very comfortable for 3 adults and 2 children. Our hosts were very kind and friendly, but the cottage was private enough that we felt at home the whole week. Looking forward to another visit in the future!

We had a great stay in Manly and the cottage was ideally situated for visiting Sydney. Clive and Therese were very welcoming and the welcome pack was greatly appreciated. They were always there to help and gave us some good tips on transport and places to go. The cottage was ideal for our party of 5 and it was very comfortable on our return from a days touring. The local free bus was great and in easy walking distance from the cottage (10 minutes). Manly itself is a lovely place and we enjoyed watching the surf, bmx and skateboard competition. The ferry into Sydney is easy to use and we are really pleased we choose Manly as our base. A fantastic trip to Sydney.

Great location. Home away from home with lovely garden to relax in in the evening. Owners hospitable but respectful of our privacy. Cottage light and bright and cosy with added bonus of fresh bread, milk, butter and cookies etc. Wonderful location for us to walk to sporting facilities, beach or into Manly. Lovely leafy suburb would stay again no problem.

This cottage has a bit of the wow factor, when you walk in and find it so cute and tastefully decorated. The owner left us treats like flowers, afternoon tea and some staples to get us started without having to rush to the supermarket. The two bedrooms are cosy and comfy and I had a great sleep every night, as did my kids (it's really quiet). It's easy walking distance to Manly swim centre and really close to 2 supermarkets, Harris Farm markets (fruit, veg, food, cafe, seafood) plus Manly beach is just down the road. There is a sun filled deck and backyard with outdoor dining area and BBQ plus for winter nights the house has aircon, heaters, electric blankets - I really couldn't fault anything about this place and wish i had a cottage like this in my own backyard!

I cant recommend this property highly enough. It was a perfect alternative to bland apartments or chain hotels. With a small child in tow, having a cottage gave us lots more freedom and the setting was lovely. It was great having outside space and room to play.We especially enjoyed being slightly out of the madness of the city, able to take in Manly the way that its residents do. It was very easy and relaxing to get into Sydney too. A good location for enjoying a city without being forced into tourist only zones.The property was very well presented and we were greeted with small touches that made us feel at home immediately. I spent hours researching where to stay in the Sydney area and am relieved that we found somewhere so perfect for our requirements.

Stopped at Manly Gardens for 7 weeks. It was beautiful. Lovely cottage, plenty of space for the kids to play. It felt like our own home. We loved walking down to Manly or the ferry. The little welcome pack on arrival was very much appreciated after a 30 hour journey and arrive late night. Thanks for looking after us Clive, Terese and family. I strongly recommend Manly Gardens for your stay as you wont be disappointed.

Quiet backwater to Manly, about a mile away. Excellent facilities and welcome pack. Good bus routes north, south and to Manly. Pizza's at the top of the road superb, especially after a late arrival from Cairns. Lovely hosts. Relaxing end to our holiday. Thanks.

Our family (with children aged 8,6 and 4) enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It was beautifully homely,comfortable and well-maintained. Lovely little extra touches made it a special place to stay. Helpful and friendly on-site managers. We would thoroughly recommend this property.

We had a very enjoyable, positive & pleasant experience at Manly Gardens.Sydney & its surrounds were easily accesable. We did not need to hire a car as various modes of public transport (ferry,bus,etc.)were within walking distance of the cottage.The cottage was very well equipped.We arrived at midnight & were pleased to find basic food supplies to get started.We would stay in Manly Gardens if visiting Sydney again.
