Had an enjoyable stay with our family. Listing was as advertised. There was plenty of space for everyone and many activities for us. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!!

We had the best time in Door County and Clay Bank’s Retreat made all the difference since it is big enough for our group. All the things that we might need for meal prep, cooking, cleaning, laundry, trip to the beach, games are all available. The host is gracious to let us have an early check - in. We definitely rate this property 10/10!

This property is perfect for a large group and in a great location in Door County, close enough to Sturgeon Bay but feels secluded when you are there. The house itself is nicely furnished with a great kitchen for all cooking needs. Our group would definitely stay again.

We can't say enough about what a great property this is. We were nine women who spent five days enjoying Door County, and this house was perfect. Gorgeous house, large yard with a fire pit. Plenty of beds and bathrooms, all immaculate. Our Host was very helpful with recommendations, communication was easy, and everything went smoothly. We would definitely book this property again.

My husband and I booked this wonderful home to spend some time with our 3 grown children and their families - there were 13 of us all together. The house , property and amenities were perfect for us. We had plenty of room and the kids loved the bunk room. The house was so well stocked! Plenty of everything you could think of including all kinds of indoor and outdoor games. We had a great time exploring Doir County and then coming back to hang out at the house.

Lots of space, very clean, lots of wildlife, and great location. We left behind our child's beloved stuffed animal and the owner graciously mailed it back.

From the moment we turned down the driveway we felt welcome. In every part of this beautiful space, both indoors and out were places to gather, sit and enjoy. The house was so well equipped from the kitchen, the bathrooms to the cozy sleeping spaces. The pool table was hit with young and old. And the rousing games of Corn Hole, bean bag toss were great fun. Quiet conversations were had both around the fire table on the deck and the great fire pit in the yard. The welcome book was filled with all the pertinent details for a great stay and Darelynn was available for any questions we had. We enjoyed our time all together in this wonderful home. Thanks for making it available to share and the memories made will last a lifetime.

Very quiet and secluded

This property is fantastic! The host has thought of every detail. The house is fully stocked. We had a group of 15 people and it was a great size for our group- plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We had 7 kids and they loved sleeping in the bunk bed room together. The pool table was a hit with everyone. The host has so many indoor and outdoor games that the group was well entertained throughout our stay.

We have stayed at a lot of different VRBOs over the years, but by far this has been the best. Extremely spacious and equipped with everything that you could possibly think of!

We got together with family (14 members) for parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. Property was beautiful and home was absolutely perfect. Bedrooms were perfect for everyone. Bunk room for the grandkids was wonderful. Home was stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this property. Location was perfect. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Door County Towns, but close enough to all the amenities they provide.

This is a beautiful property! It looks exactly like the pictures. Honestly, first VRBO, and we have stayed in a few, that had a clean grill!! Everything was clean, there are many pots, pans, baking dishes etc. We saw deer every night and turkeys! We didn’t want to leave!! Also the owner responded immediately to questions, so helpful!! Thank you for the memories!!

We truly enjoyed our stay. Could walk to Lake Michigan. Remote so could enjoy the stars with a campfire. The house was open so everyone could be together! Lovely place!

Clay Banks Retreat is an amazing property and a great place to host a gathering. The house is extremely clean, has a fully equipped kitchen (plenty of cups, plates, utensils, etc), and is well maintained. The open floor plan with kitchen, dining room, and living room is perfect for everyone to be together. While hanging out in the kitchen we saw many deer roaming the fields. The bedrooms are spacious and beds/pillows are comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and spacious and have plenty of towles. I highly recommend this property.

13 of us ( children and grandchildren), spent the Labor Day Weekend at the Clay Banks Retreat. We all found the house to be very lovely and accommodating for all ages. There was more than enough room and everything in the house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped.We would certainly return there.

It was absolutely perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of space to spread out. There were 11 of us and there was plenty of space to spread out. We could have comfortably fit a few more even. Definitely will be returning!!

The home was perfect for 13 of us that stayed there over a long weekend. Plenty of room for the adults and for the younger kids to have some of their own space as well. Great location just outside of town so that you can get away from all the people in town and relax under the stars. Very clean. Just a great place to stay all-around.

We had a wonderful time staying here for a family reunion in Door County. The house was perfect in every way: spacious for a large group, clean, comfortable, and with every kitchen utensil imaginable available. It's a bit off the beaten track (i.e. 30-45 min to most key places in Door County) but that's what we loved about it. You haven't experienced true "peace and quiet" until you've stayed here!
