The view was incredible! The house very clean. There were amenity issues that Vaca Casa accommodated us for, however the day of is never a good time to hear that your plans are changing. I would recommend VacaCasa with a caution that the day of things could change. I do believe they did all they could do to make us whole, and I truly appreciated that.

This place was absolutely gorgeous. We had an amazing time. We needed a location relatively close to Redwoods, Napa Valley, and San Francisco because we had to get all that in within three days. We enjoyed Bodega Head better than any of the sights we saw all weekend. I highly recommend this home for your stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The house has amazing views! Kitchen was well equipped! Beds were very comfortable! We will book this home again !! Only issue we had was the fireplace, we had to have maintenance guy come fix it. And the Bbq grates need to be replaced.

The house was great. Beautiful views and nicely decorated and stocked with essentials. We received very poor customer service from Vacasa. We received a call at 3:57 saying that our check in time will be delayed one hour. We were just arriving for our 4 PM check in time. More notice would have been appreciated. We had a car full of items that need to be refrigerated after the long trip. Additionally, the oven was out of service and we did not find out until we arrived at the house. We would have appreciated advanced notice so we could plan our meals accordingly as we had young kids and meals planned for oven use. They had enough time to create, laminate and post an out of order sign so they could have provided advanced notice. This was a major disappointment from Vacasa. Lastly, the hot tub did not work as it would not go above 85 and it was very visibly dirty. We notified Vacasa of these issues right away and it took them over 2 weeks to provide any appropriate solution or response. Everything was very automated and impersonal. Once we finally received an appropriate response they only gave us a $300 refund. The hot tub cleaning fee was $100 alone. I expected more from such a large and established company. This was a very poor experience with Vacasa so much so that I will not be renting through them again.

This is the first time we have ever given a VRBO property a poor review. We were so excited to stay in this property. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and disappointment with the rental property we booked through Vacasa for our family vacation from July 5 to July 12, 2023. We had high hopes for a pleasant and enjoyable stay, but unfortunately, our experience has been far from satisfactory. Our check-in was scheduled for 4:00 pm on July 5, and upon our arrival at 7:30 pm, we were greeted by Karen, the housekeeper. To our surprise, she informed us that she needed an additional one and a half hours to clean the house. This delay was an inconvenience and put a damper on our excitement. Once we finally entered the property, it became evident that the condition of the house was far from acceptable. The wood floors appeared to be well beyond their expected useful life, displaying signs of extensive wear and tear. The carpets were severely stained and damaged, making it unappealing and unhygienic to walk barefoot on any of the floors. It is disheartening that such poor maintenance and cleanliness standards were overlooked. Furthermore, we discovered that there was garbage left out on the driveway.

Loved everything about our stay - beautiful home with all the amenities you need, great view and location - walking distance to the beach. House was clean but hot tub could’ve been cleaner and jets did not work properly. We would for sure come back and stay here again.

The house is nice with great views all around but there were some problems. The door to balcony and the master bedroom door to the patio required us to lift the door handle up all the way to allow the dead bolt to turn. The dishwasher lines have a heavy leak under the sink way up top where the aerator line and drain line meet. We still did many dishes by hand but with six people we needed the dishwasher. Someone has to be there to catch the water or else it fills up the cabinet under the sink then goes to the floor. The large pot we found there when we arrived doesn't work for that leak plus the real concern is the wiring for the garbage disposal lays in the water. The downstairs flooring is made of jute or some wicker material which is not comfortable. Also, one night when we returned the garage door was opened which was strange because we didn't have an opener for it. The floor plan is great. The hot tub was very clean and nice. If those four items listed were fixed we would stay here again.

This house has an amazing view of the ocean. Each bedroom has a king size bed and a private bathroom. This is very convenient for multiple couples. I was well stocked and very comfortable.

Beautiful view, lovely neighborhood, walk to beach. We really enjoyed the location. Kitchen was well stocked. Hot tub was so nice to have. I would stay here again. The three bedrooms were a great layout for us. My kids loved the ping pong table and close proximity to the beach. My only complaint is that while this home had a sign indicating that it is not a pet-friendly home, the pillows and couches and blankets in the living room had animal fur on them. One of the blankets that was rolled up in a basket was covered in fur. I'm not sure if this was from a previous guest that ignored the restrictions and brought their pet, or if the owners have pets, but we found the fur unpleasant, and two of our family members with allergies were sneezing quite a bit. I did not notice fur in other parts of the house, just the main living room. The couches and pillows need a good vacuum and the blankets need to be washed to try to remove the fur. This may not be part of the regular housecleaning service, but is something that seems needed if animals have been in the house.

We enjoyed a second trip to this wonderful property and enjoyed a daily walk down to the beach with a quick stop for our daughter at the playground overlooking the water. It was idyllic.

Kitchen was very well equipped. Plenty of dishes, silverware, serving dishes. Very comfortable house with a beautiful view. Would definitely rent again.

We stayed here a few months ago and loved it, and came back again with additional family members. It's an absolutely gorgeous home and wonderful location. Lovely view, great kitchen and family room space, a little deck looking out on the ocean, a hot tub for relaxing. The downsides: The downstairs ocean view bed is extremely hard and uncomfortable (the upstairs bed is also very hard but there's a memory foam topper that makes it very comfortable; we found this under the bed and had to put it on ourselves). While we were there, the balcony door handle came off and almost locked us out on the balcony, and the downstairs sink was leaking; we informed the property manager (although there was no response), so hopefully, it's fixed soon!

Such a nicely done home with a beautiful location and view. Hoping to come again soon!

This property was the perfect local getaway for our family. The beach and hiking access was perfect and the house was as beautiful as pictured. We can’t wait to get back for another stay.

There was no garage door opener (which would have been nice given it is a two story house with the front door upstairs). Otherwise, it was great to have a hot tub, comfortable couch, enough seating at the dining table, good size kitchen and patios with views. You can easily walk to the beach and play a round of golf. The biggest plus was each bedroom having its own bathroom. Will definitely stay here again.

Very comfy house with an open kitchen/dining/living room area that overlooks the ocean. Easy walk to the beach.

Wonderful ocean views from the living room, dining room, kitchen area. Those spaces and the master suite are upstairs. Furnishings were comfortable and attractive; house was very clean; nice framed photographs and art on walls. Master bedroom bed was comfortable, and the master bathroom is very nice. We did not use the two downstairs bedrooms, but they are both attractive, with distant ocean views, and each bedroom has a bathroom. Kitchen was well-equipped and spacious (but it’s time to buy new wineglasses😒). The only negative: To get into the house, one must go up a steep exterior staircase of 16 steps. The top step is wonky (tilted rather than flat) — not a good way to start the trip down. You can also enter through the very clean garage and go up an internal staircase.

My parents want to move to bodega based on their stay at this house 🤪 This was an absolutely lovely property. It’s well maintained with plenty of space. We had 4 adults and an infant but it easily could have fit another couple and another child. The kitchen is well stocked and there are fantastic views of the ocean from all the common areas. The path to the beach is a short jaunt down the road (accessible through the golf club) We had a couple of minor issues that vacasa very quickly and responsively addressed. I would recommend doing a once through of everything at the outset of your stay just in case. The managers will fix the problems efficiently😀
