Restaurants nearby if you decide to stay on the beach all day like we did. Avon is down 12 in case it rains. Such a wonderful location. So glad our family recommended to us and will be staying there again next year. Connors grocery is a 5 minute drive. Everything is right there and worth the drive.

Everything in the house was great except for the kitchen knives. They were all so dull they weren't usable. And there was no way to sharpen them.

I loved the location. The beach was right in front. During our time there the sun rose with beautiful colors in our front windows. I enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the waves crash. The pool and hot tub was nice on days the waves were too rough due to hurricane.

I love this place. It's convenient, right on the beach, close to stores and we can walk to a fee restaurants. We always usually get in early thanks to the staff. I'll be looking to book this place place next year and will enjoy it as always. We have the beach at our front door, short walk to the pool, and comfy beds and working TVs in every room. There's nothing bad to say about this place. It's our favorite.

The cottage was clean. The pictures of the cottage were accurate, and this unit is oceanfront. Our unobstructed view of the ocean allowed us to watch surfers most days. Great entertainment! Groceries, gas and restaurants were very close.

Easy booking. Unit looked recently updated. CLEAN! Perfect beach getaway for a few days. Would book this unit again for sure.

Property had everything we needed to make meals, sleep and shower. The views of the ocean were spectacular. We had everything from restaurants, ice cream, put-put and groceries within walking distance. We definitely plan to come back in the future.

We had a perfect weekend getaway. The ocean view and access was amazing. We loved cooking in and playing games at night- perfect little kitchen with everything we needed. Comfortable living space. Buxton was adorable- great for a weekend of family time exploring the area. Not as many restaurants were open in February but we had more than enough options for the weekend. The beds were comfortable. The staff was great for check in and helping out with advice for the area. We hope to come back soon!

The maintenance staff did a great job removing about 4 feet of sand in the parking area from a Nor'easter 5 days before our visit. No issues at all with this place!

Reviewer Comments: We were to check into the rental the Saturday after hurrican Dorian went through.Due to the hurrican we were not able to check in until Wensday. We stayed here for 3 nights and then had to move to another unit because it was booked for the next week which was fine. However we ask to just have the days moved so that we would not have to file an insurance claim since we were staying for the same number of days but just in a different unit both units having an ocean view. Apparently Lighthouse view is under new management so we had to pay for the additional days and now we have to still file the insurance for 4 days that we missed so my already paid for week i had to pay 500.00 additional dollars to stay a whole we because we moved to a different unit and they are under new management. We were told that it would void the insurance and they weren't aloud to do that when all we wanted was the number of days that we had already paid for.
When the day come to move to the new unit we were told we could check in early and we would receive a call from the front desk. We received the call and packed our stuff and went to move the unit we were told was NOT oceanview...and we paid for Oceanview. So back to the front desk to ask why we were not getting ocean view to which the manager said we were only booked for 1 night and we said no we paid for 3. Here she mixed us up with the people staying below then we were told to wait another hour until the unit was cleaned and she would call us in an hour. We ran around for an hour and no call we waited till like 15 after and went back to the office she said she called and left a message...which she did not
..best part was she verified my fiances phone number before we left the building so she could call him
...what a joke....we finally got moved into the new unit...there was 1 steak knife lol so we had to share half of the silverware that was here last year is gone...we stayed in the same unit last year..

Until we had to leave early because of Hurricane Dorian that is. its so nice to be just steps away from the beach and have a pool to use as well.
the cottages have been remodeled this year and look great. It truly is home away from home for us, since we have stayed in this same cottage for many many years.

The Lighthouse View is the perfect place to stay. The remodel this year was excellent. The customer service is superb. The views of the ocean are breathtaking. We love it at the Lighthouse View.
