What a wonderful location and beautiful bungalow which was plenty big for two. We met so many nice people staying an extended time who were all so friendly. The bungalow had everything we needed and so nicely decorated. My only complaint would be the bed and I’m not one to complain. It’s either the mattress or the frame but not enough support for the both of us. We would love to stay again in #3 if they could change the bed out. You have a gem of a property!

There is a a dock but it was damaged and not available to walk on or fish from. I hope repairs will be completed for our next visit.

American Realty personnel are the BEST! They have always taken good care of us. The location is excellent for us who want a good location on the water with sandy shores for beach walking. Good restaurants are within walking distance.

GulfShores to Sanibel to Miami to Key West to Captiva. In the middle of my vacation turned around on a dead end street in on Captiva Island and saw the American Realty sign and pulled in a a whim. Albert Garcia I believe was the young mans name. He fixed me up with the perfect ending to my vacation. I will be back. Thank you Albert

We had looked at these cabins several times but never ended up staying there. We were very happy that we did stay this time. Very cute cabin, quiet, good location. Disappointed the boat dock was not in working order. That should be disclosed when booking to stay there.

The booking was online, the lock box was as described. The cottage was as we had stayed previously, well stocked kitchen utensils and appliances. The unit was very clean, smelled fresh, the bed was comfortable, and the A/C when needed worked well. A great getaway, we hope to return for a longer stay.

Our stay at Captiva Cottages could not have been more perfect. It started with Morganna, the rental agent. She was so helpful and friendly. Since this was my first time visiting Captiva, I asked about restaurants and things to do. She gave us great recommendations for food and activities. We followed almost everything she told us. The Cottages are absolutely adorable. Located a short, easy walk from the village with shops and restaurants and the beach for sunset gazing. I was concerned about cleanliness because of Covid, but the place was spotless! The grounds are very well kept, even the outside gas grill was clean. It was quiet and peaceful. The cottages are built right on the bay side. I loved drinking coffee in the morning and looking at the water view. We had an amazing getaway and I know I’ll be back.

My wife and I stay at the Captiva Cottages every year for our Anniversary. Located on the bayside in the heart of Captiva, you won't need to move your car. Perfect place for a romantic get away.

The property is on the bay with a private pool and a nice short block to the gulf to swim. The best of both worlds! Can walk to the little village of Captiva with Markets, restaurants and sunsets. We biked both islands which 95% was on a nice bike trail off the streets. Very relaxing and comfortable but most of all well kept and clean. The screened in porch is a nice are to relax after a hard day of play!

What a great cute cottage with all the right amenities for the beach—chairs, an umbrella, towels, and the location is so walkable you everything in the village of Captiva. All the furnishings seemed new and well-kept. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

Have stayed at Bayside Cottages for many years. American Realty staff has always treated us like family. Many improvements this year. Very clean and kitchen stocked well. Washer and dryer in the room now and nicely decorated. I actually left one of my knives there last year and they saved it for me! So happy to have my knife back. Old Florida feel is what we want when we come to the cottages.
