The owner went out of her way to provide a very nice gluten-free breakfast ! Her enthusiasm and helpfulness were noteworthy.

Shower is definitely in need of looking into. No queries per se however as I have a broken knee I cannot bend down to pick-up things from the floor and the shower being rather small (70x70) it has caused me some problems. At least a corner shelf to put soap, shampoo and shower gel would help.

Tatiana and Edward are wonderful hosts . She is very attentive and gave us a lot of information about the area . Very nice, authentic old Manoir ,cosy, with a lot of character and a beautiful garden. Delicious breakfast served in a wonderful dining room, very comfortable beds, clean, good Wi-Fi. The beautiful sandy beach is about 15 -20 min away and there are many trails to the cliffs of Carolles and Champeaux with wonderful panorama of Mont-Saint-Michel and its bay. The woman running the place is very nice. It's located in an old cute house. The room was very nice.

The host Tatiana took great trouble to help me to find Le Vieux Manoir. She was very welcoming and provided me with an astoundingly varied and delicious breakfast of traditional local French cuisine. La Carolle is a delightful town by the sea. This is a wonderful building full of character which Tatiana and her husband are restoring step by step ensuring that they retain the traditional features and character of the building.

The photograph on booking.com has a house in the next road in the centre. Google maps directed me to that house not Le Vieux Manoir which is the large white building. I have posted my photographs of the exterior which shows Le Vieux Manoir more clearly.

Tatiana and Edward are the hosts you always hope to find, do everything they can so you get the most out of your stay. Lovely breakfast with homecooked extra's. Can't wait to go back!!!

We loved it all!!

Nice old Manoir in a beautiful garden... we walked about 15 minutes to the next beach (one with fine sand!) But also did some nice coast hiking. The room remained our warm nest to which we could return after having gotten wet by the cold October winds. A great and very nice breakfast as well! We will certainly consider staying in the bigger apartment as well if we ever come back with friends!

The laundry (towels and bedsheets) had a bit of a strange odor... maybe some more neutral detergent would do better :)

No tea coffee facilities in room nor kettle or microwave which is a nice option if not wanting to eat out every evening
