The Love Shack is a fun little get away spot at Deep Creek Lake. The property was very well maintained and located within a short distance of all that we wanted to see. Will rent again when we are coming back to the area.

The house was nice. The sofa is about worn out. The hot tub cover is broken. I think for the price per night there should be more cable channels. We did enjoy our stay.

The cabin is absolutely perfect for a couple or a small family. We relaxed, hiked around the area, and kayaked on the lake. Everything is very clean and Michelle made the check-in and check-out process extremely easy. We highly recommend this cabin and plan to return!

Our stay was very relaxing. Our grandkids came a couple days and it was wonderful. Very cozy little cabin that met our needs. Beautifully decorated and wonderful quiet location. Thumbs up!

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The Love Shack was absolutely adorable with lots of rustic charm and it was very convenient to many things in the Deep Creek area. We hiked/biked two state parks and did some of the summer activities Wisp resort offered. There were several restaurants to choose from within a couple miles and we had some great dinners overlooking the lake.
The home was perfect for our needs. We found the kitchen to be well stocked for preparing breakfast and lunch. It was very clean when we arrived. And, we enjoyed the hot tub after hiking.
All is all, my wife and I had a great time and would stay here again if we come back to the Deep Creek area.

My family (me 45, wife 43, daughter 12, son 8) fit perfectly in the cozy confines of the cabin. It was easy to get to and a reasonable drive to everywhere we wanted to visit. We love the area and this time we tried horseback riding. We also went to Swallow Falls twice in our 4 day stay. Hot tub is a nice perk too. We had most of our meals outside on the front porch, so all 4 of us could sit at a table together. Very reasonably priced too. The hosts were very helpful and communicative. We would go here again.

The cabin was very cozy and decorated very tastefully. The weather was cool while we were there so the hot tub, wood burning fireplace came in handy, and I enjoyed the gas firepit on the adorable front porch. The owners were pleasant to work with. The cabin had everything we needed to stay-in if we wanted and very close to some of the activities we planned as well as a bike ride away to some fun places/bars/restaurants. I loved that it was called the "Love Shack" but it's loft area makes it perfect for familes too!

Really great little boutique cabin in a stunning forested location! Only reason I gave 4 stars is because we Couldn’t use the Jacuzzi or the air conditioner or the barbecue, because the little patio deck that everything was on had a lot of mold-So turning on the AC would bring it into the house and being out on that little patio is impossible if you’re sensitive to mold. Also, the barbecue is on the same little patio.

The Love Shack is perfect for a couple or a small family. It was clean and well maintained. The hot tub was very relaxing. We liked that all the appliances and equipment worked perfectly. The front porch was nice for sitting by the fire pit in the evening. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will be returning.

The cabin was perfect for my little family! I brought my 2 kids 11/12 here for an Easter getaway and we absolutely loved it!! Will definitely be coming back up before school starts up in the fall! The whole area is stunning and the setting for the cabin is very safe for bike riding and evening walks. This was my first time using vrbo but Michelle explained it all step for step and was very kind and easy to work with! Great hosts very accommodating!!

Wife, daughter, dogs, and I recently stayed at this cabin. Location-wise, it was quiet and pretty, minutes to very good restaurants and a grocery store. The cabin is very comfortable & clean. We really enjoyed our time togther and got some much needed rest!

Living room furniture very uncomfortable and worn. Mold on outside deck. Cobwebs, dirty floors (Doritos under sofa), ladder climb impossible for anyone over 30, unsafe, very steep. Not handicap accessible, bathroom door not wide enough for walker.
Owner was very belligerent. Didn't want to hear my assessment. She would stay there.

We stayed at the Love Shack a few weeks ago during a winter weather advisory. We didn’t think it would impact our plans to visit different hot spots in deep creek because deep creek always get snow! Well, it was a lot of snow and winds so it just mad sense to hunker down especially since we had our two young daughters with us. The cabin was cute, clean, cozy, just PERFECT!!! We had a fire going throughout the weekend which just created such an ambience. We packed plenty of food and just kept cooking and baking. Our girls just loved relaxing and playing in the snow! The hot tub was wonderful! It was a perfect retreat for our very busy family. We needed this weekend so bad!

We have been going up to Deep Creek Lake every January for the last five years. The Love Shack is the best cabin we have stayed in. The kitchen and bathroom look like they have been recently renovated. Very clean and updated. The fireplace and leather couch made the living room very comfortable. The hot tub was perfect after snow tubing in cold and windy weather. The loft area was great also. We had a great weekend.

What a great experience! My lady and I brought in the new year here and we couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. It started snowing on our way into town so we had the perfect excuse stay in and enjoy the space.
The cabin seems simple and quaint from the outside, but the inside is nicely renovated and well-kept, complete with modern appliances and sleek fixtures. Kudos to the hosts for keeping the space updated/maintained.
To bring in 2024 here was special and something that we'll never forget. We look forward to visiting this part of MD again in the near future.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous cozy cabin. Michelle was amazing and gave us so many recommendations! The hot tub and loft area were our daughter's favorite spots to hang out. The cabin is so close to town and Wisp. It was our home away from home, lots of laughter, smiles, and fun were had by all. Mother Nature treated us with beautiful snow making it a winter wonderland during our stay! We definitely will return for our next winter family trip.

We had an amazing winter getaway before Christmas with our family of 4 at the Love Shack. We loved the layout of the cabin, the hot tub was a big hit & our kids adored the loft area! We had a fire going almost the whole time, and cooked all our meals in the cabin. Everything was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

The cabin was so charming nestled amongst the trees of Deep Creek Lake. Convenient to restaurants and stores as well as the Deep Creek Discovery Center which offered great views of the lake and walking trails. Dinner was delicious at the upscale Dutch’s just a block over from the cabin. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and cozy. The outside hot tub added a nice relaxing touch. Highly recommend the “Love Shack”!!!

The cabin was everything we expected and then some! It was perfect for the two of us, very cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet and great for spotting wildlife! Also, food and essentials were close.

The Love Shack was perfect for us. The enclosed hot tub was large enough and the gas fire pit on the front porch allowed us to spend many hours outside on the cool autumn nights. The kitchen was well equipped and the cabin is tastefully decorated. Loved exploring the Deep Creek area from here!

This was the second time we stayed at The Love Shack and enjoyed our stay as much this time as last. It is an adorable cabin with an outside hot tub and all the amenities of home in the quiet Yellowstone Village. It is close to restaurants, shopping, Deep Creek lake and a lot of fun activities. Booking with Vrbo was easy and working with the property owner Michelle has always been a pleasant experience. We would not hesitate to book again in the future.

This was a great property, perfect size for a small family and a couple friends. Great location close proximity to everything Deep Creeek has to offer. Cute loft, but very steep steps. Keep in mind for a small child. The property has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay! Couch is a bit worn, but fine to crash on together. Nicely updated kitchen. Cozy/ tight layout, but was just fine for our group. Enjoy!

Such a beautiful little cabin. Super clean, cozy, beautifully decorated, amazing place perfect for family of 4. The cabin is located within a 15 mins to each state park, Wisp, and all the boat rental places. A cross the street from the cabin there is lake and wonderful Dutch,s restaurant. You cannot ask for a better place to relqx and enjoy family time. We had a blast!! Highly Recommended !! Wonderful place !!:
